Is there a possibility to add a stronger and longer Wifi antenna? I think this is the original Wifi antenna, red marked? Is there a possibility to add an extra antenna on this connections, red marked? To put the antenna a little bit out of the metal box, its possible, but in this cause not really a solution. I ask, because one of the Apollo Futurebit Master Miner with 2 Slaves is behind a Fire Door and there i have no good Wifi connection. Sometimes it works, sometimes not (~15-20% connection quality.) But it would be for me easily to put a cable under the Fire Door..... Thx for your answers Gr€€tz Biosman PS: Merry christmas, catholic date, Merry christmas to all orthodox at 06.01 ![Kiss](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/kiss.gif)

No the problem is not the reception of the wifi, on the contrary the reception is 92% ... The problem is that after a while the ip address disappears and I can no longer access, from the pool it tells me that the worker is offline but the red led keeps flashing, the fan turns as if it were undermining! And to log back in I have to either reset the sd card or the router every time !!!! ok now it has been working for more than two hours but ... I reset the sd card and I put the wifi antenna outside the metal case; at first it took some time, it seemed like it stalled or couldn't connect to the server. Now I'm just downloading the blockchain and not mining... by the way it detects me only 10/32 connections sometimes 11 this means that the port 8333 is open or not? I opened it on the router both TCP / UDP with the ip address of my futurebit, is that correct? I was saying now I'm only downloading the blockchain and I'm not mining, maybe that's why it disconnected from the network due to a CPU overload or has nothing to do with it? Anyone who has any clarification about it thank you very much! By the way, best wishes to all of you for a Merry Christmas!!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Have you tried assigning it a static IP address on your router?

You can still mine something even though the download isn't finished.

Just the fan spins

You can still mine something even though the download isn't finished. Remember to run it on eco mode while downloading the blockchain to keep the temperature of the controller CPU down. Once the blockchain is synced then go for balanced or turbo mode.

@jstefanop: This can't be correct: Yea internal error usually has to do with no network connection, so your wifi is probably not connecting. Make sure you connecting to 2.4GHz network instead of 5 for better range Because one of the Miner ist always on LAN, an when i connect to LAN or Wifi IP Adress, there is always this "internal message error" Gr€€tz Biosman This is because both interfaces are left "on" by the linux system when you use both LAN and wifi... the Web UI does not know how to deal with that currently. You need to log into the system via a monitor, and turn off the interface you are not using (drop down on the upper right corner of the desktop). Can this be done on the command line?

Can this be done on the command line?
If you want to disable your WiFi interface: ifconfig wlan0 down or to disable your Ethernet: ifconfig eth0 down Note: the commands are not boot resistant.

Until you do that, it's not full bitcoin node, it's restricted from accepting connections from other nodes.

I just like to say my two miners are running rock solid and I'm also using wireless with no issues. Both run issue free and only restart when I choose to. I know some say an auto-restart would be nice but I've not seen the need. I will say the second miner I ordered has a error rate of 2.4% while my first is only 0.3% but performance seems ok and the error rate goes down if I run in balanced mode

Yes my miner has been running none stop for months now with room temperature under 40f. I hope the next release will add the second line for pool configuration. It hurts my bottom line when the main pool is down and miner can't mine a additional one.

my apollo btc units were working fine on my preferred pool until today when suddenly it is rejecting most of the shares for 'low difficulty'. spoke with several friends on the same mining pool with same units and they all have the same problem... scratching our heads why suddenly today this is a problem

Is this gorilla pool? Admin is in contact with us about it. Issue seems to be isolated with just their pool so could be some weird config issue on their end.

I’ve had a full unit since august and it’s worked great without any issues. Recently I got a standard unit (batch 3) to connect to my full unit. I can get the standard unit mining for about 10 minutes and then it goes to inactive status. Then I have to power it off and on then restart mining to get it to start again. But it only will mine for a few minutes again before going inactive. The full unit continues mining without any issues. The red light on the standard unit has the slow red blinking light like it’s mining but it’s showing inactive in the dashboard. I’m running apollo web v0.3.2
Any ideas what the problem could be?

Hmm, yeah I've been having the same exact problem for a while. I was hoping this most recent update would fix it, but looks like I'm still having the same issue. I have 1 full unit and 2 standard units, for some reason all 3 of them wont stay hashing at the same time and one of them will drop off after a while. It's always just one that drops off and they all keep blinking the slow pattern.
