^ Not totally good on my own and I hope there is no victim of phishing links that comes from Google ads. Because they did not filter those ads that contain possible phishing links if there is no user will report it. There is nothing they can do on crypto, it is now widely accepted in most institutional, even other social media has allowing crypto ads, how much more about them. Are you serious!! Just take a look at the "Scam Accusation" board and see how many topics have been created about google scam ads and you'll realize that the ban didn't change any thing. In fact, it made things worse. However, lifting the ban may slow down scammers as legit services are definitely going to pay higher rates per impression/click and it will be hard for scammers to compete with them.
Though, I don't think this news will have a major effect on the market as there aren't many exchanges and wallets that can meet the requirements they set.

Google was never cold to bitcoin or cryptocurrency in first place as the ban had nothing to do with bitcoin. They basically put an end to the ICO scam that was running rampant during 2017, granted they were late to enforce the ban but better late than never. It wasn't just Google, a lot of other companies did the same during 2017 and 2018. Youtube is another one that comes to mind that made a lot of noise because the idiots who were pump and dumping shitcoins on Youtube by fooling newbies got their scam operation shut down.

That's really a great news. Google has one in the website that is good with advertisement and many people are using google services which of course will be exposed to the advertisement of cryptocurrency. Yes google at first misinterpreted many times regarding scams and crypto advertisements.
Also the scammers using the advantage of the fact that crypto is decentralised, so using it to scam people.

I agree Google definitely doesn't want to miss the hype going on in crypto this year, Google also wants to get back the profits from crypto
advertising. That's why Google moved quickly by changing its policies regarding crypto advertising, this year Google will again allow
crypto advertising, after 3 years of banning crypto advertising. This is of course very good news, hopefully this news will increase investors

It is a good thing to be done by imposing a policy that will limit only those registered exchanges and wallets related to crypto to release their advertisements to also take into control of the rising cases of frauds and scams that have been scattering on different search engines and websites. By this, it will somehow be rest assured that the users will be having a safe place to get into but still it will be a personal responsibility to be aware not to do engagement from strange pop up ads and floating advertisements to avoid getting caught into hack and scam schemes. It's certainly a good development.

But to be honest, they're only doing this for their own gain, which is fair enough. They also want to have a piece of the crypto bull market cake by offering advertising services to sectors that are booming in market cap.

It's a win-win situation, though. Google clearly benefits from a corporate perspective. Now that regulations are tighter on advertisements, hopefully the community will see less phishing/scam crypto sites and finally get rid of that problem.

Maybe Google got some pressure from legal authorities because if it is only about the fact that some projects were a scam, Google should also be forced to prevent those guru scammers selling their courses via Youtube advertisements. One thing is sure. The cryptocurrency market has grown so big, that Google can no longer ignore this sector. A blanket ban is not advisable, as the revenue will be simply diverted to their competitors.

Google was literally not trying to ignore the sector but the scammers were taking full advantage of their advertisement and shilling out contents with scam ICO and scam exchanges as well as phishing sites as advertisement and they started getting tons of complaints regarding that and so is the reason they banned cryptocurrency advertisement for a while and not because they are against the market.

Finally, after 3 years! Let's just hope that this will not have a negative effect, as people are often annoyed by the rising number of ads and, subconsciously, the anger becomes directed towards the advertised object.

Surely, the opinion and comparative analysis on such websites could be biased, which poses a threat to some extent, but apart from that, that doesn't seem like something particularly harmful. Especially considering the fact that the Internet is full of such websites anyway and it's almost impossible to find a sound analysis as the criteria everyone uses in terms of comparing cryptocurrencies differ depending on the context and features compared.

Let us say that those buttons were overly used but with their actions, they're taking time to respond to all of those and those scam ads have already victimized more before they take any actions. Well, as for those people that searches and falling into those scam ads, Google should be stepping in and taking actions for them to clean their platform by removing those scams so it's a coordination of users and mainly by them for the removal.
