It’s easy for you to think this way because you don’t know the local specifics. For example, there is a long-standing tradition of exporting better goods, and distributing much worse goods domestically. Sure. How could it be otherwise if one person has been in power for 20 years in a row? And by the way, I do not think that the authorities care much about the high mortality rate - in fact, the deaths of the elderly only increase the possibilities of the authorities as the number of pensioners is decreasing.

Great initiative from the polish government if you ask me because it's very difficult to convince people to get the covid vaccination in any part of the world because of the many rumors that are being spread about the covax.

I don't have any issue with such initiatives. The US state of Ohio recently had such a lottery system and it was wildly successful. But along with these initiatives, they should also try to prosecute those individuals who spread unsubstantiated rumors about the vaccine. My friends in India claim that they have received dozens of WhatsApp messages, claiming that the vaccine would make people impotent. It is important to arrest such people who indirectly cause tens of thousands of deaths. Lotteries alone will not solve the issue of vaccine hesitancy.
