Its one of the best looking, in theory it might be superior to lol but I dont know its better to bet on.    CS is the best for outcomes so long as the teams arent too unpredictable in their failings.

I'm also eyeing NiP but might skip it since I want to bet on T1 vs Damwon later today.
Nip not only took a team mate from Astralis but now rubbed salt into the wound and trashed them in todays match, just a single round was taken from Nip.    BO1 matches I avoid but I wouldnt have predicted the current world champs lose 16-1 to basically any team at all, maybe its psychological and a former player knows exactly the timing and when to attack vs his old team so the inner circle is broken.   Will they forgive  him, I'm apt to think Astralis just cant be bet on at present they are on three wheels and this is a team that famously requires composure and training to perform to exact dimensions like a machine; they wont recover to full fighting strength during this tournament imo

Gambit over vp
Flames over Faze
Heroic over Astralis
Liquid Furia  uncertain
Vitality over EG
G2 over Entropiq but also 3 maps I might prefer
Mouz Ence  3 maps I think
Navi over Nip

We have the 2021 Worlds quarter-final draws now. Honestly, the odds haven't been determined yet but my favourites for these 4 matches are like this respectively: RNG, GEN.G, T1, DK. Besides, I think that DK will win the tournament.

A lot of people were actually rooting for T1, I myself am, the veteran Faker playing with a young T1 against the players he used to play with (Khan, Kkoma, Poohmandu on the coaching side), it would really be a big upset but I guess Showmaker's era is starting now and Faker is really not no. 1 anymore as he retires as a pro. You may actually be right, I really think DamWon Kia will be the champions in the worlds.

I have been seeing Dota2 content everywhere I go lately and thought I would dive into it further because as you remember from an earlier post I hadn't bet on this esport before.

And had been watching on the sidelines for ages.
There are some docufilms on netflix and even an anime inspired by the storyline, which I didn't think was possible.
Very interesting esport to say the least.

It is also interesting to play this game called DOTA2 (Defense of The Ancient 2) and it's so popular in early 2009 because of Valve and IceFrog. I used to play this game wayback when I was still a highschool student and infact it's very rare to see young to middle aged people in the Asian country who don't know how to play Dota from Dota1 til it evolved to Dota2. We used to play this game and gamble our allowance per game, it's good to know that there are still many people playing this game until now internationally.

Let me guess, you also lived in the South-Eastern part of Asia right @Finestream? If yes, we're the in the same region or even same country. I also used to play Dota1 til Dota2 and Counter-Strike too during my high school to college days with my mates and gamble with our money for a battle of raise to 3 if such bets are too big because it's a 5v5 game. Such days are so good and fun to remember! Now, I'm just only watching it in e-sports or youtube about their annual international tournaments because I have no time anymore due to work commitments.

Let me guess, both of y'all live in the country I live in, Dota was the OG game, we talk trash, place bets, those good old days were one of the best memories we'll forever live on, today, we have responsibilities and it keeps adding up as we grow, not to add any more drama but it is what it is, at least we can still watch our favorite pros play the game on our free time.   Grin

Today is LoL Worlds final (DWG vs EDG)

DWG is being undefeated till now and has also defeated T1 in the semi-finals, I think there's a good chance DWG will win this easily.
And also the odds are over 1.25x in most of the Esports betting websites.
What do you think?

^^
Have seen the LoL World championship finals has begun but as I am not too familiar with the teams I can not say too much.
Maybe somebody else can comment and give their opinion on this tournament and where they see it is going for this match.

Had a good run in the PGL Major for cs:go yesterday having Heroic and G2 both going to the semi-finals.
Today there will be Gambit vs Furia and Navi vs Vitality later on for them to take their spot in the next round.

To be honest, I've dropped out of eSports for about a year now, and I don't even know who is good now to choose my favorite, who can tell you who is worth looking at in CS and LoL?

I think we're also in the same region or should I say the same country. I also had the same experience before and to be honest, those are the best part of my high school life too. I used to play and bet on a 5v5 most of the time in a computer shop so we could play together. Betting is really fun and exciting. Gone were the days but e-sports honestly bring back the excitement and memories.

Well for CS:GO I would have to say Navi is pretty high up there along with Astralis.
Watching them doing a 2-0 and not just winning both maps in today's PGL semifinals but with huge difference in winning rounds going 16-3 for the last map.
For league, I am not so familiar with. So maybe somebody else who frequents the thread can give you a better answer than I could.

CSGO has been MIA for over a year anyhow, it is not a proper tournament if its not head to head in the same arena.   The game is different online without the low tolerances pro players perform with.

Navi just demolished the only team I thought could stop them.   G2 are good but the teams they just beat to get here weren't contenders to win overall, they just outperformed and then G2 put them back on the shelf.    Unless G2 have kept back strats for a few maps to beat Navi and Navi gets knocked off their horse and is in some disarray then G2 should not be winning.    I'll bet Navi so long as the odds dont get too far off, either team can still win in theory.
Its just that Gambit should have taken it to 3 maps but had no chance because Navi can confidently win on so many different maps, where is their weakness to exploit; G2 must find it.    A 2 map final will be disappointing, I'm willing to bet on 3 maps I think Gambit did falter in their performance some.

That was an amazing Majors Final for the PGL and it did look as if it was going to 3 maps with Navi being down 14-9 I think it was at one point.
But then Navi turned it up a notch and got it to overtime to take it in just 2. But as you said usually this shows utter domination of a team but they were looking to drop the map. So with that comeback it was far from being a boring one.
Just amazing play by all on Navi to solidify the win and show they are the best in the counterstrike genre as of now.
The arena setting was brilliant looking and having it full with fans was a welcome site and added so much to the atmosphere opposed to watching players in their bedrooms on a webcam during their past tournaments a full year year ago til now.
The fireworks after every round won was a great touch!

I'm taking Fnatic to win @1.42 the Dreamhack grand finals, this team is on fire and hasn't dropped a single map throughout the tournament.

Also want to go for Forze on the 3rd place decider as the match seems more of a 50-50 based on their head-to-head and teams they've fought but i'll play it safe though.

That is quite some record, they are coming out of nowhere to do this with a new five man line up.    fnatic doesnt even have smooya as top frag or top rating in their last game, maybe he has learnt to play as a team and frag count isnt everything.   Miracles do happen because many had thought he would not come back, just skill is not always enough to be part of a team and that was part of the reason s1mple on first try had to go all the way to USA to get a good team and he is world champ now he changed some.

Hard for me to bet accurately and I'd rather just say they do over 3 maps but going on their record so far I will bet the same also.

Grin
Yes, it definitely sounds like we live in the same country and I think same era too  Cheesy
It's where we used to bond with friends by playing a 5v5 game and teasing each other in-game and after, but yes man even if we wanted to play it again but we can't find any spare time because of the responsibilities now. I'm just watching it now on Youtube when I can, keeps me reminding of our youth days.

Took them as well on the F1 win of Hamilton @10.60x to make the betslip 13.25x.
So it was a solid win from Fnatic going on to win the Dreamhack championship.
Just watching Forze play against K23 in Replug league play.
And they are playing with a vengeance from that loss early on yesterday.

While waiting for the tournaments next week, i'll give this one a try,  IG@1.55 vs Rogue Warriors, take note that this is a cup tournament so most teams are playing with their secondary squad but there are a couple like Suning and WE who are still using their main squad.

Also, the roster announcements from the Dota scene is getting interesting, Sumail and iceiceice on Secret, Matu on Liquid, Fly competing in the SEA region.

Not a lot of good matches today but I still think this is worth a punt, Philippines @1.43 vs Thailand, this matchup is basically Polaris Esport vs Motivate Trust, and the last time these two met it ended in the way of Polaris.

Even though Thailand is playing with a different carry I still think the Philippines will still come out on top here.

Also don't miss out on bitcasino's esport promo where they'll give out knives worth at least a thousand usdt.

Brutal loss on the Philippines going from 2-0 to 2-3 (reverse sweep) by Thailand, the Polaris squad didn't gave enough respect on the Tide pick given that it's the only hero that's always providing initiation for team Thailand.

Moving on, I got a bet on Team Empire +1.5 vs NoMarci (Dota 2 Champions League). I think the odds are good enough as Team Empire is slowly gaining form 3-1 in their last 4 and beat Brame which is one of the top teams in the tournament.

Ouch ralle14, sorry to hear about the philippines not winning their match the other day.

I've been putting all my bets on savage in the cs go tournament lately.
So hope they can scrap up a win today as they dropped the 1st map.
