What a trow from Beastcoast in 1st map against Liquid as they had multiple opportunities to finish the game and end the map but they chose every time to split the map in farm again and again until Liquid finally had a real chance to comeback and they did it. I also hope this new patch that will get out this week , will finally nerf Pangolier because this hero is been in Meta heroes for almost 2 years now which is frightening.

This is how it looks in EMEA Masters on League of Legends after the first day matches of the quarter final round.

Congratulations to IW for getting this big win today. But it wasn't easy for them at all actually despite the final score's being 3-1. They started the series 1-0 behind and there were simple mistakes to be fixed. But that comeback was really nice. There were still points to be improved for IW of course but they still managed to play the macro game better than their opponent. BAO was looking good today mostly but sometimes he made bad decisions. This can be a problem for him and the team both against a better playing opponent.

In the semi finals IW's opponent is going to be SKP (SK Gaming Prime). SKP is a German team playing in the Prime League. I think IW are a more powerful team than them on paper. They just need to play more carefully.

That first game got me sweating with the constant back and forth on every team fight since I had a map handicap bet on Team Liquid to sweep the series.



I almost thought Team Liquid was going to lose because of that one overextension when they tried to wipe beastcoast through sheer numbers chasing them in their base and K1 was forced to buy back killing two to three heroes during that defense. At least game 2 was much easier for Team Liquid as Nisha was snowballing so fast with his SF and beastcoast couldn't stop the snowball thanks to the kiting and sustain from Boxi and Insania.

Being not too familiar with the terms 322 and 644 in dota2 speak but from the sounds of it they are involved in possibly throwing matches for the sake of their own benefit.
So this is an ongoing investigation by the opposing teams to say this is the reason for these allegations?
If it was most recent then the main media for dota2 news hasn't have any exposure to these match fixing by these players yet.
Please keep us in the know of their progressions once valve is aware.

322 started with Solo's action, it was an action in that he was the player in that match and then bet on the other team's victory, the opponent. He was forgiven and then still in the competitive and professional scene while the rest that has been caught in this action has been banned by Valve and other big leagues. Based on the intro that I've watched, the YouTuber said it's just his opinion and not an accusation but still going to get dig into this video and will share my thoughts on it later.
By the way, Team Secret has won against Old G, and guess what? Team Secret is back to division 1. The interview with Puppey was amazing, players should learn from his perspective and just move on from his past action being the captain that has anger management as they say and he seems grown a lot and proven it based on his achievements.

Another big chance in this new coming patch will be regarding heroes , items and the meta will be almost completely change and I'm curious about Bounty Hunter and how they managed to rework that hero because in Dota 1 it was a big carry that went to support style in Dota 2.

There are still three days remaining for Division 2 but Team Secret only has one remaining game and still, they're already secured to the top 1 which makes them secure a slot for Division 1. We'll see how they'll be performing in Division 1 with Armel. While many want Old G to go to Division 1, it's not just yet time for them to this DPC Div 2 tour. These three times are fighting for the second/last slot for their way to Division 1.

I nearly thought EG was about to throw that map away since their 5-10k lead didn't matter as Gaimin's Bounty Hunter provides so much track gold per kill whenever they go for tradeoffs.

Also, the patch just came out and it looks like the leaks were half accurate, there are two Roshan pits but still one Roshan he just swaps places depending on the time of day.

This day one of the biggest updates comes up with dota 2 which is the Frontiers which is getting a bigger map to imagine takes too much time before getting a respo with your team and also can do some micro with the mischiefs of the heroes, for sure this update brings new environment to the player, currently some of the professionals getting analyze what are the possible drafts, strategy to this game this could bring new things for the upcoming tournament might affect the performance of every player. Will wait for the next upcoming match with the new patch.

With all these events in progression with Dota2, LoL and CS:GO (for now but S2 soon) in the mix, we have alot to watch for this weekend and beginning of next week.

In CS we have IEM in Rio matches to decide who will be in the finals for this event come Sunday:
Today these teams are facing off for their brackets -Vitality vs Big & Heroicvs Furia to see who will go up against Navi & Cloud 9 on Saturday.

As mentioned by CLS63 earlier there is an event currently in progress in League of Legends play with UOL Sexy Edition vs Team Heretics Academy and Istanbul Wildcats going up against SK Gaming on the 25th. With Istanbul being the heavy favorites in this Spring Main Event.

I saw the new map update for Dota 2 and this is like a balance update especially that we're in the playoffs of the DreamLeague. Every player and every team is going to adjust and will have to bear with all of these updates. It's interesting to see that this update didn't wait any longer while it is in the midst of an important tournament.

I haven't gone through with the updates yet and might play later on to look on how bigger the map is and with a lot of reworks, nerf and adjustments for items and heroes.

The best team to adapt with this change will certainly have the advantage over other slow adapting teams.

Intel Extreme Masters in Rio grand finals are set with Team Vitality vs Heroic coming up.
Heroic blanked the favorites Navi in impressive fashion so you know they won't be easy for Vitality to beat them.
I imagine that is the reason why they are favorites for this finals since Vitality are known to be choke artists in the past during these tournaments when they reach the final bosses.

They finally got their first title this year after winning against Heroic 2-0  plus they secured themselves a spot at the next IEM tournament which is a few months away from now.

The DreamLeague also ended today with Gaimin Gladiators taking down Team Liquid in a five-game thriller. The two games that Team Liquid won were so one-sided and ended within 30mins while the games that Gaimin Gladiators won were hard-fought as they lasted for almost an hour each.

Now we're just a few days away from the Berlin major and thinking of skipping pre-live bets throughout due to how the games have been ending after the patch.

This patch honestly is still a work in progress for most teams, there have been some bugs but Valve fixed it quickly like the harpoon item bug. But then, moving on. We're about to see the ESL Berlin major which will start 2 days from now. The matches are already there and it's on bookies right now and just waiting for the first day of it. The updates and changes of the current meta I think is a good timing made by Valve. And this is like everybody that's on these tournaments are going to have their minds used to the extent that everyone of them is like walking in the dark.

Yes, most games are taking time but that's one of its beauty because the game winner is determined on how tough the players and teams are to win and destroy the opponents throne.

The new addition to the map and made it even bigger was likely a mind blowing update that no one has ever updated. It's good for everyone that there's no upper hand on that update and everyone has to get familiar with it.
