if there is no more price decline from BTC I'm sure in the next few days the price of matic can touch $ 1 again.

matic had gone up at $1.02 last August before finally dropping and you could be right mate that maybe matic would be able to break through again at $1 and it's not that difficult if we look at the previous matic trend which was at $2 at the beginning of this year. the sol is also not so bad when it started the year at $170 and is currently down and is at $33. so actually both are equally good if they are going to be used as investments, now it's just a matter of how to express that the value needed is certainly different, sol needs more funds than matic and that will clearly affect what we will do in buying it.

I believe we have to give everything to Polygon Matic. It is currently the popular blockchain when it comes to NFT, after ethereum network and also second when it comes to DeFi, after Binance Smart Chain. well, both have good potential for long-term investment, Poliygon and Solana are coins that are currently popular and attract my attention.
but now for long-term investment I prefer Matic because the price is still relatively affordable for me.
Even though Solana was hacked several times and network problems did not rule out in the future I will invest in Solana, because I believe Solana will be better in the future.

I'm more interested in Polygon than Solana. Besides we can use the same wallet as Ethereum or BSC. Many Dex platforms have been developed through the Polygon blockchain. This can help us in making transactions as well as in buying tokens from the Polygon blockchain. But Solana is also a good coin. But if we say competitor BTC, I also think it is still very far from expectations, because to compete with Ethereum alone is not yet capable, how can it compete with Bitcoin as the king of crypto.

I always include Solana and Polygon in my portfolio list, because indeed the two coins are very profitable for investment and have utility.
So it's really hard if I have to choose between Solana and Polygon, but because Solana's market cap is bigger and Solana has a higher demand,
so I prefer Solana over Polygon. But that doesn't mean Polygon is bad, it's just like you said Polygon still have to improve their network to be
much better, so that the demand for polygons also increases.

I already tried Matic and it was the fastest version of transactions I ever had and also the cheapest of them all. Most of the time when I was playing NFT games back then, the transaction fees were killing the earnings I should have gotten and it all fixed when they managed to migrate to Polygon and give their players a reasonable experience to play their games while only making them pay a cheap price. IMO Polygon's closest competitor is the internet computer or NEAR, not Solana. Solana has broken a dozen times already and when discussing blockchains, the most important factor is security. The internet computer ICP runs on decentralized servers, not AWS like most other blockchains.
