the first games are over now. and there is a surprise after all. holstein kiel wins in bremen. i personally didn't expect that.
st. pauli plays for a draw against nuremberg .
schalke won the game in sandhauen. if hamburg wins in golstadt tomorrow, it will be really exciting at the end of the season.

I don't watch the second Bunesliga that regurlarly but today i tuned in to the conference because the race for the places that qualify for the first Bundesliga is so close this year and i was certainly not disappointed. Werder Bremen already looked like the clear and uncontested winner today and then everything went wrong for them and they still lost in the end. The total opposite of emotions were to be seen in the match of Sandhausen vs. Schalke. After Sandhause have scored a very late equalizer Schalke still managed to win the game with a goal way into the overtime.
Bremen also still has it in their own hands though, they just need to win the last 2 games and they will go back to the first Bundesliga.

4 teams currently have stiff competition to get promotion next season, schalke who were previously below the top 4 they are slowly able to grab the top of the standings, while ST Pauli who is quite consistent at the top of the standings at the beginning and mid-season starts to run out of fuel when the match only a few games left now, the large number of points lost in the last few games makes ST Pauli now have to be in 4th place and I think their chances of promotion are likely to be very difficult this season, I personally believe that schalke and Bremen will soon lock their promotion tickets , while Darmstad may be lucky enough to get a place in the Bundesliga next season through the play-off.

Im shocked that Werder Bremen was able to drop all 3 points with 2 own goals. If they dont get promoted these two own goals will definetly remind them hard. Hamburger and Darmstadt now have an amazing chance to get into better positions to get promoted. Really becoming intresting now

Yea, it looks like the league is going for a dramatic finish 
Darmstadt is now in a pretty good position. Of course they shouldn't mess it up like Bremen did yesterday, but they could now even surpass Bremen by winning the last 3 games.
And Hamburg: as written on the last page, they absolutely need to win all 3 remaining games, otherwise they won't be able to reach the 3rd rank. Today in Ingolstadt they are likely to win, but we have seen many "easy" games in the past where Hamburg managed to "not win" somehow.
Nürnberg is probably out of the race now after their draw yesterday. Only if both, Hamburg and Darmstadt, somehow manage to lose today they would still have a small chance for the 3rd rank.

I also think the same as you predicted but this is quite unexpected when a superior team who is very favored after slaughtering a big team actually has to lose to a mid-table team.
It's a shame even though they still have the opportunity to reclaim the position they want there but with this defeat now their margin is back 2 points and this is of course quite detrimental for Bremen

What I think would happened. Darmstadt win 6:0, which was very clear in the first half. Minutes 16 to 19 and it's 3:0, something like that doesn't happen often. And this means that Erzgebirge Aue will have to play in the third Liga next Season. Darmstadt are back on place 2, even on point with Bremen, but with more  goals scoring. Only two games left and if Schalke doesn't win against St. Pauli on 07.05., Darmstadt could even take the first place.

i think bremen,schalke and darmstadt will occupy the first three places. and hsv will defend its fourth place from last season.

It was a shocking comeback and no one has ever thought that Holstein Kiel could turn the tables against Werder Bremen, I surely admit I really want Werder Bremen to be at the 2nd standings of the Bundesliga, next to Schalke, because I do because they are the 2 teams deserving to come back to the 1st Division, I would love to see them back at the 1st division,

Darmstadt just quickly ascended to the 2nd spot after that win from Erzgebirge they totally destroy them with 6 goals that are something and so they have to push up to the 2nd spot, but I still want for Werder Bremen to initiate an against Erzgebirge aswell, and reclaim their position on the 2nd spot, right now both Darmstadt and Werder Bremen each need 1 win but I highly doubt that Bremen can force Darmstadt to fall down to the 3rd spot because Darmstadt will have a match against Dusseldorf, but if Dusseldorf can win against Darmstadt Werder Bremen can have a chance to step up again.

I think that the top three actually might change and it is quite possible if hamburger and Werder Bremen and the season with the same points. I think it is quite possible. If they end up in the same points the goal difference will be better for Hamburger. And if somehow hamburger wins even one match and Werder Bremen actually loses both then there is no question about what is going to happen. I think Hamburgers still has a very good chance of even finishing in the top two.

Well, that was it, 2nd Bundesliga is ending its season, better luck next time the teams that want to regulate on the 1s division, likely even though a team wants to advance it is too late and the teams that are already on top win the 2nd Bundesliga, then there will be a relegation, and champions will advance to the 1st division,

The score is quite near so a possibility for Darmstadt to become number 1 has a possibility, this is so exciting for the 2nd division you can never know if a team would be permanent in the 1st position because the level of competition is always there not like in the 1st division that just 1 team that is always champion, the 2nd division is composed of teams that are remarkable in every aspect of competition, but I feel sad about Erzgebirge and Ingolstadt 2 teams that are for Relegation.

That is a shame for St. Pauli and if that is so this is going to be an easy win for Schalke, that is why Schalke will stay on the top, but Hamburger SV is facing Hannover 96 but it will be an easy win for Hamburger SV but the score of Werder Bremen is pretty much solid for now, so I think the top 3 teams are safe for now.

Next matchday will be good memorize for Schalke against with St. Pauli if success 3 point on hand will bring back Schalke to Bundesliga and have waiting by their fans after drop to Bundesliga 2. But still not guarantee will lead to Bundesliga depend on under team like SV Darmstadt 98 and Werder Bremen success with 3 point or not because between 1st and 2nd then 3rd position standing remaining 2 points, if each team loss point next matchday and Schalke success with 3 point they will make good thing back to Bundesliga 2.
