That is right. They have started their winning streak at matchday 18. On that day they have jumped from place 15 to place 10 in the table. Now they are back at place 4. On that place were they have been on the first and second matchday. This means that the other teams have played pretty mixed since then.

What I also just saw is that they have only conceded 3 goals since then. That is also a great achievement.

heidenheim has won 3:0 in hannover and is back on place 2. all 3 goals were scored in the first half. today hsv has the chance to get back to place 2.
but they have to win in kaiserslautern. but i think kaiserslautern will win the game tonight. they will fight more and keep the 3 points in the pfalz.

The winning streak can't go on forever, sometime it should end, Braunschweig does not seem to be the most dangerous opponent, but they are very close to the relegation zone, which should make them play better. What about Hamburg, can we say that after the victory at Hannover they are back in the game? Kaiserslautern loses at home very rarely, so it will not be easy for Hamburg today.

Actually too bad as this was the big chance that St. Pauli has been working for so hard now. Damn in, I would have liked if they won their game. But the next game is almost a match ball for Pauli against Hamburg. If Pauli loses that one it's over for them. hsv won the match against st. pauli 4:3 today. that was a very very important win and also an important 3 points. 57000 fans in the stadium were thrilled by the match. it was a very exciting match that could have ended 4:4. but darmstadt also won 2-1 against karlsruhe today. of course, darmstadt remains first. with today's win, hsv is in second place for the time being. heidenheim then plays holstein kiel on sunday.

That was a really great derby.  Both teams took advantage of the mistakes from the opponent and in the end Hamburger SV had done it a bit better.
As has been written there are still 15 points to be achieved. Hamburger SV is at place 3 and 9 points ahead from place 4. So it is 95% certain that the teams from places 1-3 will decide the promotion among themselves. The battle for place 2 will be exciting.
