Schalke vs. Fürth:
Schalke are slowly finding their way back to good form and have won 3 and lost 2 of their last 5 games. They even have not conceded a goal in the last two games. That iy a good improvement from the defence.
Fürth have won 4 of their last 5 games and only drew the last one. They work very focussed and also manage to bring a 1:0 over the time.

They have slowly crawled up the table and now they even have the chance to go into the winter break at place 1. Even if they will not finish on place 1 they have nothing to lose. But St Pauli on the other hand, have a lot more pressure. They could lose first place in the last moment.

your tip was good. but unfortunately wrong.    schalke 04 played 2:2 against greuther fürth . has schalke now won a point or lost 2 points ?
but hamburger sv can also win away from home again. the team won 2:0 in nuremberg. Robert Glatzel and Jean-Luc-Dompé scored for hamburg .
now coach walter may continue to coach the team until the summer . kiel also played very well and won 3:0 against hannover 96 . i personally didn't expect this high result.

So congratulations to Kiel to their autumn championship. They showed in the game against Hannover that they deserved to win.

Hansa Rostock has a new coach. Mersad Selimbegovic is the new coach since 18 December and his task is to prevent relegation. His contract runs until summer 2025. Selimbegovic was previously coach at Regensburg for three years. He was sacked there last season after Regensburg lost against Rostock. He now has time until 20 January to form a team that does not want to be relegated.

bielefeld has sacked its coach 50 times since 1981 . that's crazy. i would have thought that hsv would hold this record .
but there are apparently even worse employers in professional football.

Selimbegovic is already the fourth coach during 14 months in Rostock.

A few more coaches will be sacked this season, of course. Especially a few match days before the end of the season, still grabing for the last straw. Even if the problems lies elsewhere. But a coach is replaced more quickly than half of the players or even the management of the board.

No, there have only been 5 so far. Schalke, Braunschweig, Osnabrück, Kaiserslautern and Rostock.

But who does not sack their coach this year is Hamburger SV. There have been several reports in the last few days and no clear statement from the sporting director as to whether Walter will continue as coach. But now a decision has been made and they want to continue with him. A change would probably not have been understood by anyone.

the good Tim Walter . at the moment hamburger sv is in 3rd place. 3rd and 4th place is normally reserved for hsv in the 2nd bundesliga. they will probably occupy it again this year. many people like Tim Walter. but also many fans don't like his style of play and curse him for it. i myself would have kept Christian Titz or Daniel Thioune back then.
and i personally don't believe that these two coaches would be that much worse than Tim Walter. but that's just my opinion. in any case, i firmly believe that Tim Walter has to pick up at least 9-12 points in the next 5 games to remain coach at hsv.

Sack who ever is not trying to fix the club, no important job but loosening end will not help. Shocking to see Schalke 04 no longer in bundesliga professional and they're also fighting really hard to maintain a spot in 2nd bundesliga which is totally unacceptable for a club substandard to become Schalke 04. I think alot of things have really gone wrong for the club and I wouldn't advised anyone to place bets prior to the performance of the club, I've witnessed those that did, they suffer dissapointing results from the absurd performance portrayed Schalke 04, that team have decline pretty badly.

Every cup has an impact for the clubs in the Bundesliga. They have to play without the players. It seems since several years that Schalke goes the same path as Hamburger SV. Only a few years later. But they make many of the same mistakes that Hamburger SV did.
The situation at Schalke is worrying. They are in the danger zone and only 3 points away from place 16. Peter Knäbel is responsible for a lot of bad things. So why should he continue for another six months?

It is therefore clear that either an contract extension at Kaiserslautern is on the cards or he will move to another club during this winter transfer period. He will probably move and it looks like it will be Mannheim from League 3. This is controversial because the fans of both clubs are enemies. how much are the teams in the 2nd bundesliga actually worth ? who has the most expensive team : the most expensive team is schalke 04. the team is worth 92.4 million euros . followed by hertha bsc berlin with 91.2 million euros . then there is a huge gap and hamburger sv follows with 43.2 million euros.
normally schalke, hertha and hamburger sv would have to be promoted to the first bundesliga. but money doesn't shot goals . at least not in the first 17 matchdays .
you can see in the table where these 3 teams currently stand . but maybe things will look completely different after the 34th matchday .
