Even though the match ended in a draw, this result was enough for Trabzonspor to become champions this season because it was impossible for anyone to overtake their points.
Well this is for sure the fans are very happy with this result considering they just won the trophy after several seasons they always failed in the hunt.
Congratulations to Trabzonspor for their title now on the other hand the second position looks like they will be locked in a few more matches

Even if they lose all of their remaining matches they would still be the champion before this game, so this is just a formality and now it's official. They celebrate championship after 38 years in big cities besides Trabzon. They waited for this time too long. There was notorious 2010/11 championship race between them and Fenerbahçe but this time they legit won it alone. None of other big teams could compete this season for various reasons.

Yep, even though it's a formality, they are still the champions now and it doesn't matter what reasons other clubs suffer, including big clubs, of course this is still very good for Trabzonspor.

Well this can't be stopped anymore, indeed their points are too terrible for this season. 35 matches run only 2 defeats they got and 11 draws and 22 wins of course this is a great achievement for them.

The most absurd match of the week was Goztepe - Rizespor. Rizespor had such a great performance against Goztepe and destroyed them by 7-1. They both didn't have much goal left in this season and they played freely. And by the way, Trabzonspor had a great season and became the champions finally. I really appreciated their high effort during the whole season. It was a well-deserved title for them in my opinion.

It is really hard to understand how Çaykur Rizespor scored 7 goals in that match. Again, Gedson Fernandes played excellently, scoring 2 goals and 1 assist before he left the game. He has 3 goals and 3 assists in 11 games this season. He has already made it clear that he will blow like a storm in the league next year.
Joel Pohjanpalo on loan from Bayer Leverkusen also scored 15 goals. They would never have loaned such a quality player in Leverkusen if it weren't for two excellent strikers like Patrik Schick and Moussa Diaby. Pohjanpalo could be transferred to a good team next year. He is definitely not the type to be the 3rd striker.

It was a really surprising result for Çaykur Rizespor. And also it's disappointing match for Göztepe. On the same day last year, Beşiktaş scored 7 goals against Hatayspor. Bets are open on which team will score 7 goals next year same day I hope Gedson Fernandes can show the same performance for Beşiktaş next year

It certainly was not the most convincing game for Besiktas but they did win the match and get all three points and that's what they are after right now. They have a really good chance of going ahead of Alanyaspor And I believe that they will be able to do that. But if they are going to finish in the top four is a bigger question and I really doubt that they will be able to do that this season. A difference of 6 points is just a lot at this stage.

I believe that there is nothing they should be fighting for anymore, loss or win would be equal to the same thing. Not like they will be doing anything of worth for the coming time.

The best case for the current situation would be to make sure that they are more ready for next year, they should arrange some transfers, both for selling and buying players, arrange maybe a better manager hopefully, and just hope that they will have a better luck next year. Imagine going champions one year and then barely fighting for top 5 the next year, we have Lille doing that this year and Besiktas, don't know many other that are doing that. It is really a shame they dropped so much.

Trabzonspor became champions officially after 35 weeks of games and 77 points. Actually, if we compare with the regular league before covid, their 77 points are not impressive at all. But this year, it was so chaotic for the big three and other teams just got so similar points, 77 points seem like impressive. I would really like to see the points average comparison for the league for the top teams and the champion. With so much political pushing, Trabzonspor bound to be champions after the first ten weeks of the season. Nevertheless, I do admit that their offensive side is strong and I have to congratulate them.

Yeah after this point Beşiktaş will not hit top 4 obviously. They may even go down from 6th place in my opinion. In those ranks there is huge competition. Beşiktaş may not defeat Fenerbahçe next week because Fenerbahçe at least wants to secure 2nd position in the league which is not very bad compared to what people expected from them in my opinion so. 4 points is not relaxed for Fener vs Konya comparison.

The 27-year-old striker Joel Pohjanpalo has performed really great so far indeed. He has been a big help for his team during all of the season. They are still relegating from the Super League maybe but they must still be very contented with his performance. He has scored 15 goals in 30 league matches. And I wonder whether Leverkusen would be likely to loan him to Rizespor again. Maybe Pohjanpola won't be eager to play in the second league here. But this must have boosted his morale a lot as he wasn't having any chance at Leverkusen.

They are really excited about this win and you are right 38 years is not a short time for them to be champions now. Of course, there is a kind of pride for the fans to do that, because this kind of euphoria is less pronounced because their club has managed to reach the top again.

As for the current competition, it seems that this season is a little different from the previous seasons and this is indeed good enough to keep the league competitive.

We are going to be able to watch another derby match this week: Besiktas - Fenerbahce. And the winning odds for these teams are nearly the same now. Besiktas seem to be the favourite club by a very slight gap. But in my opinion, Fenerbahce are the favourite club here. They would like to consolidate their position against Konyaspor. The point gap between them is already four now and there are three weeks to go. If Fenerbahce win and Konyaspor lose at least two points, then Fenerbahce will be very close to securing their position in the standings.

I am sure there must be other leagues with the same results, only 6 winners or maybe some that are even less, but that means whenever someone outside of the big three wins they become extremely happy, like more happy than the big three because it's such a rare thing.

Galatasaray could be champions and literally ignore it, sure happy but not really a shock considering they have so much, I mean they are about to get 5th star before anyone else get 4 stars if they win so that is why Trabzon fans were extremely happy.

Yeah @gencecikmen Trabzonspor fans have huge age gap between fans that saw their last championship and this one. I liked the their anthem too.
@realmalatesta Turkish league had only 4 winners until last 10 years, I felt like its really not exciting or fun as for last 25 years it was only 3 teams: Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beişiktaş. But Başakşehir and Bursa broke that embargo over league. Now Trabzonspor returned back. I wonder if we can see more different teams in fuıture like Konyaspor etc.

I agree with both of your arguments. It is very important for Trabzonspor to become champions. It will increase competition. The more teams that break the embargo, the more competition will increase. In the coming years, Adanademirspor, Hatayspor, Antalyaspor or Konyaspor can do this. It would be nice for a team with a football culture like Adanademirspor to do this. For example, it was not nice for Başakşehir to be the champion.
