It's not the best time historically to buy into crypto but a good strategy is to buy a small amount each month and buy in gradually. If you see a large dip, buy in then too. You can't real time the market, you need time in the market.

There will always be a bear market sooner or later. The best way to avoid losing money in a bear market is to stake cryptos like Ethereum, Celo, and NEAR or to farm somewhere like Ref Finance or Pancakeswap. I'm getting great returns on Ref Finance right now because not many people know about it yet.

1. For most investors it's really important because usually a good crypto investors are splitting their investment into several coins and they have to build a portofolio to control their total assets so it will make they manage their investment easier
2. No one know this but for me personally it will, because this year hype is already over and as we can see from the history, every all time high in a year there will be no more all time high in the whole year. We will see new big bull run in years ahead and it's the best time to invest.

There is a dump and pump that happens in the market and it never has the chance to stop this. Nor, I was to think that history repeats itself as the market has been hugely changing its momentum from time to time. In fact, we can obviously see it by now. Perhaps, it wasn't a big deal for me if ever the market will dump too bad like 2018, I'm afraid that people will get crazy and rushing the market to buy more. If that going to happen, then recovery will get too fast as I can imagine.

Pump and dump give us chance how to get it buy back and sell after pump, maybe many investor keep holding their assets although raise much profit, they keep mind will have new all time high again and never sell coin. I think is big mistake made by many investor, always have moment for bitcoin and altcoin with pump and dump, if get great chance when assets have higher price I think worth for selling, waiting when bitcoin dump to buy back. If you did like that you can take chance with every time to increase much profit and keep got daily or weekly profit with pump and dump for bitcoin and altcoin price moment.

1. This year is still a good time to build a crypto portfolio. Although the many coins price is already hit the new ATH, you can buy many coins.
2. The bear market is hard to be the same as in 2018 because many investors already joined the crypto market and do not want to see their investment drops too deep.

Maybe the price can drop but not dropping so deep as the previous years. If the price is dropping too far, maybe that is just a pump and dump that always happens, but the price will be back to the current price.

If you want to invest in crypto, you need to make sure you analyze each coin so you do not buy the wrong coin.

if you used to read some news about the situation of the market after the bull run perhaps you know already that some experts really saying that the history of bearish will not repeat on this point. Whrein probably just mild or a correction.. So if i were you start to build your portfolio for the upcoming new trend of the market on this mid of the year.. Indeed winter is coming so expect there will be a maneuver without any sign just be ready mate.

I also think that we don't see a bear market like the one from 2018 and 2019 again with very low prices of almost every coin and a total market cap of below 200 Billion $, because that would mean that we would see a dump to only 1/10th of the current marketcap and i can not imagine any reason or event, that could trigger a dump like that. I do think though that it is possible that we go close to or even below 1 Trillion $ of total market cap again, but this would still mean that we would be above the highest market cap of the last bullrun of 2018. We also have to consider though that we now have many more crypto projects out there than back in 2018 so the total market cap is spread between many thousands of projects.

Yes it is a good time . Start by observing the market.
nope , i dont think btc will ever fall to 2000$ anymore, perhaps 20k range.
I will give you a good piece of advice tho.
When a currency such as bitcoin is falling / dipping then wait it out. Wait untill you see some real growth untill you invest. You might miss out on making a few quick %, but aswell you wont take the risk of dipping half your investment.

As for me, I could personally advise you to buy during this dip. It isn't late for you to build your own portfolio yet but you have to be skeptical in picking a coin because not all altcoins could recover during the dip. Top coins would be the best choice especially for those who have a strong foundation already.

The best time to build a portfolio is when the market is dipping, but anytime when you have the fund is always a good idea, and on your second question, we cannot tell with certainty that the bear market will be dipping as what happens in 2018, market crash with bad news and go up if there are adoptions and good news, the market depends on what the news is bringing to the community, and how the investors react.
