I'm not a crypto expert, but here I also learn and get information to choose my new portfolio.

Can't agree more, postponing the decision to begin with crypto can be a bad call! I say can be a bad call because maybe now is the dip we are all waiting for, and maybe the price will not go lower! But if someone thinks it will go lower then wait your perfect moment to get into crypto! I guess all this is not even necessary if someone plans to get in the long run with crypto, buying now and whenever price drops is a good strategy for securing a future!

I think if your only mindset is buying high and selling low instead of long term hodling, then you might lose a lot of money by double guessing yourself and squandering your profits during crashes. Here is what I think: If you find several good investment-worthy coins, you divide your eggs and put them in your lucky baskets. Leave them for a few years and don't let the price influence your decision making.

I think if your only mindset is buying high and selling low instead of long term hodling, then you might lose a lot of money by double guessing yourself and squandering your profits during crashes. Here is what I think: If you find several good investment-worthy coins, you divide your eggs and put them in your lucky baskets. Leave them for a few years and don't let the price influence your decision making.

Don't let the price shake you, and likewise, better to find good quality asset and leave it for some time, the market have cycles and
if you managed to let them passed it will help you to maximize your profits.
It's hard though but if you did your homework by dealing with your research everything is managable, it's up to your good judgement
to pick the right coin for both long and short term investment.

I don't think it's possible that we should see the same level of decline as in 2018, we need a record price decline that we haven't seen so far. Bitcoin is a very volatile cryptocurrency but I didn't expect much. I believe that the price of Bitcoin won't drop that much unless most people stop demanding it individually, so I think if you invest now and leave then you could see your portfolio 50x or more of this in the years to come.
