It's totally boring giving Lionel Messi the Ballon d'or again for Seventh time, Lewandoski deserve to be crowned this time around....what else does he have to do in other to win this Ballon d'or ?
 How about Jorginho of Chelsea football club ?
Won the Champions League and European competition with Italy, this are player that should be crowned not Messi.

Are you sure it is the first time? I thought it has happened before although I am not entirely sure if it was for the Ballon dor. Do you guys remember when the Champions League pairings were leaked, then it was claimed that those pairings are not true but when the lottery was done the pairings were actually true? I think it was something like that.

Robert lewandoski deserves the award no doubt but what happens to younger players that are worth the ballon d'oar two times over for their outstanding performance for these season?
How do you just quantify every player's performance by a mere hyping and you think FIFA will see it from your point of view? No!
Lewi hasn't carried the champions league these time which is one of the greatest advantage when qualifying a player for the BEST PLAYER AWARD " the likes of Erling Halland, kylain mbappe even the world's recognize goat, leo messi  are still on good advantage,yeah

If it is really Lewandowski that will win the award, then I am definitely happy for him and he definitely deserved it. However that list doesn't look like it is ranked properly, thats the only thing I am not entirely sure about. Like do we really believe that Messi came in second? or benzema third? Where is Ronaldo in that case? No matter what the situation is like, I have to say that Salah and Lewa were the only two players that I would give the award to this past year. Salah had a semi-decent season last season, which could be one of the reasons why he wasn't first in that list, but we are seeing how great he is once again now that he is playing well again.

So, Lewandowski breaking the Bundesliga record for scoring, ending up with the award would be very very good, he definitely deserved it, one of the best peak scoring performances in recent memory.

I don't think that's real. We saw in previous leak Messi was on top, now they put Lewa. It seems like they try to lower the credibility of first leak, put another leak for confusion. I wouldn't be surprised if Messi or Lewandowski win it but it's better to wait award night than believing these so called "leaks" over the internet. I wish they give last year's award as well, that way we wouldn't see much controversy. Give one award to Lewandowski and other award to Messi, everybody would be okay with that.

A well-known fact about this guy is that he is too humble. Messi is not only an excellent player, he is smart and humble as well. If 2020 were the year, Lewandovski would be the clear and only favorite. However, in 2021 Messi is the undisputed favorite. Lewandovski has scored more goals. However, Messi has more individual stats and has won more international awards than Lewandovski. The 2021 Ballon d'Or nominated players have all done well. Messi, on the other hand, has been incredible, one step above the rest of the candidates.

Honestly Lionel Messi does not merit another Ballon d'or again, on what ground or yardstick used as a standard that would warrant his winning the award again? I don't think there is any major tournament or competition that he got any award except COPA America, Jorginho should be considered likewise Lewandoski these are my two favorite players who I believe merit the award rather than recycling the duo of Ronaldo and Messi, other players should be given a chance too, else the would award would be like a charade.

You are entitled to your choice, as we all have a theory to support our thinking. But, if the Ballon d'Or is decided based on goals, then Messi should have made the top 10. Despite Lewandowski scoring the most goals, I think he does not deserve to win the Ballon d'Or in 2021. In terms of individual brilliance, Lewandowski, in terms of logic, Messi, in terms of the media.

Compared to Messi, I agree more with Lewandoski who got this trophy. Even though he led Argentina to the Copa America win, Barca's performance was very bad when he was still there
