Credit goes to the twitter user below https://twitter.com/Tree_of_Alpha/status/1456332297393872899Seems that Tesla is testing payment in Bitcoin and another coin called SHIBA. However upon investigation it seems that the coin is called SHIBA but when he did a test transaction the address started with D. And then he did a test payment on the Doge network and when the payment was accepted it confirmed on the Tesla servers. Never in a million years would of I guessed that he was actually serious and would start accepting Doge. Was assuming he would accept Bitcoin and Ethereum. Definitely not Shiba or Doge. Wonder if someone will actually buy an entire Tesla vehicle paid for by Dogecoin. i was very sure from the start that Elon would never want to realize the plan to accept Dogecoin as payment at Tesla, he just wanted to make a joke but many responded and made the price of Dogecoin go up drastically, now he says he accepts SHIBA, i am sure that it will be just talk.

well i'm not surprised by this move of his, he's such a big advocate of dogecoin, so much of a supporter that it was on binance's owner's twitter account to complain about the unfairness binance was doing against dogecoin. this shows that elon is a great doge defender. now I don't know if we'll ever hear someone buy a car at his company using a doge, I think that in practice no one will do

I think Tesla and Elon Musk don't really accept bitcoin and Doge payments for their cars. Elon Musk has always been in the spotlight of crypto investors. Elon Musk is known in social media circles as a major troll, making statements that could affect the price of bitcoin and Doge. Moreover, this is not the first time he has made a mess on social media. Since last year, he made a statement that received Dogecoin payments for his vehicles but then he canceled them.
It's doesn't matter though, bitcoin is already too big and not even one man like Elon Musk can stop it. If he accept it like what he did before then good, if not we are going to be ok. And lately though, as far as I'm concern, he is no longer relevant to the bitcoin ecosystem. Yes, he could have invested on it, but that's just it. We should move forward and totally forget about him. Of course Elon Musk can't stop bitcoin. but we also can't just forget Elon Musk's presence in the Cryptocurrency world because every time Elon Musk tweets about cryptocurrency, the market seems to react to it.

People don't want to miss the hype that's why we see how the market react for certain times but we shouldn't get hype for certain situation since we know Elon sometimes have downturns after he already accumulated profit again. So we need to be watchful on what is the content of his tweet since sometimes his influence can manipulate the minds of the people especially with those new ones.

So it seems this actually was somewhat true, Elon Musk just posted on twitter, https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1470703708677840896"Tesla will make some merch buyable with Doge & see how it goes"So I guess you won't be able to buy an entire Tesla car but can buy some Tesla accessories.

Step-by-step guide to make a shitton of money from the shitcoin market: Step 1: be popular or semi-popular with a large number of brainless followers on social media. Step 2: choose a random low value, low volume shitcoin that can get good pumps. Step 3: buy as much of that shitcoin as you can over a long period of time in order not to change its price or let anyone know. Step 4: start advertising the crap out of that shitcoin to those brainless followers so that they end up buying that shitcoin Step 5: dump and make a huge profit
Congratulations you are now a scammer and in many jurisdictions you are considered a criminal for market manipulation. /s
I agree with you. most people out there eat the talk of people who are considered gods in business. they manipulate the market for their own personal gain. most of them people want to get rich fast without the need for a process. smart in determining the market.

I think if he announced this earlier, such as when BTC was at ATH, then perhaps Doge might be nearing its ATHs also. However it seems that his tweets are getting less and less relevant. It was every Dogecoin holders dream for Tesla to accept Dogecoin and now that it does (or will soon) the pump seems to be fading. We will see how the daily closes however not looking so promising so far. I think since this coin has experienced an >80% loss from ATH has alot of bag holders which are very desperate to get out as the biggest loss possible. Since year is ending... there is going to be lots of tax loss harvesting selling and most likely Dogecoin will be one of those coins that experiences those. People will want to take the loss on Doge to offset their gains on another stocks/cryptos. So heading into the new year might go lower and maybe Q1 might go higher.

Knowing Elon, he is just pursuing his own personal interests in crypto, and once he is full of gains, then he will leave the market without notice. But bitcoin cannot be easily manipulated this time as big institutions are already at the back of bitcoin. However, Tesla accepting Shiba or Dogecoin are definitely all lies. This may be another trick for Elon to hype dogecoin and Shiba Inu so that it will create more community and in the end, Elon will still be the big winner and those who believed in hype will definitely face losses in the future.

Yeah, that's what is called Elon Hype Basically, Elon has been silent for weeks about any discussion of his crypto holdings or any crypto that he wants to tweet after he had a harvest to his last tweet. I reckon that Elon Musk is now getting more famous and gained many followers as many people are watching what would he tweet next time, is he going to create a new hype or is he going to make another crypto dip just like what he did to SHIB last time.

Well, this is not new for us as we know Elon how he hyped Dogecoin and when stops shilling on it, its value certainly creates a downward trend. And with this new hype that Tesla accepting dogecoin, this is more of a price manipulation so that its value will be hyped again and starts to increase. Knowing Elon, he lives for his own desires so we should limits when it comes to him.
