I don't know if there was a thread between Nick Ball and Brandon Figueroa. But in any case for fans of Figueroa because of his never say die attitude, he knockout the champion Nick Ball on his hometown, and so this is a big upset,

And we have been discussing that Brandon or even Ball could face Inoue next. But now that Brandon is the champion, a potential fight could be in the horizon. That is, if Inoue is willing to go up to 126 lbs and face Figueroa.

@Yaunfitda. This is very much a welcome circumstance for Bradon Figeuroa because Stephen Fulton appears to have retired because he is not mentioned in the rankings of featherweight. Stephen Fulton was the only boxer that Figueroa had difficulty of getting the victory. Brandon can certainly unify the championships in this weight division heheheheeh.

Also, he will be waiting for Inoue if the Japanese man wants to fight in featherweight heehehhe. This will certainly be a superfight!

However, according to Sports Illustrated columnist and DAZN presenter Chris Mannix, he could be set to fight this year against an old rival.

So there are reports surfacing in the last 24 hours that Tank Davis comeback might be in works and this is against Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz. Might be good to see another set of this fight this two in a rematch. Although Cruz has move up in weight, and we all know that Tanks is still 135 lbs.

Maybe there will be a catch weight here and then a rehydration clause? But let's see how it goes, mentally, we all know that Tank could have been affected because the recent news of his arrest.

He should be moving to 140 lbs to stay relevant. Tank is a great boxer no doubt, but he seems to be refusing boxers that might beat him. I love this rematch but why not go after Shakur Stevenson instead of Pitbull? And if ever this fight is negotiated, I do hope that Pitbull will not allow himself to be bully again by Tank and ask for a catchweight or rehydration clause just like what he did when he fought a drained Ryan Garcia. And I do hope that Tank will stop with the drama outside of boxing, it's just hurting his image and bankability as a legit super star. Just look at his contemporaries, Ryan is a champion, and so is Haney. Teo lost to Shakur but still their names are the best right now unlike Tank who seems to be left out, and fighting a weight class that he should have outgrown already.

We could interpret it as Tank ducking Haney during that time and doesn't want to fight him at 140 lbs. Now, suddenly he is willing to go up at 140 lbs and fight Pitbull. Probably he learn this ducking from Floyd himself and then also making demands.

But we are not aware of that until Ryan Garcia exposes them when they face each other. So now, fans like you are now questioning Tank about this kind of clauses that he wanted to include like what Floyd is doing against Pacquiao in their fight.

Yes, it's going to be at 140 lbs, so Tank will have to go up in that weight class. Pitbull should not accept it at 135 lbs as I think he is already big for that weight. His head alone could weight 35 lbs already,  . So if the fight goes to 140 lbs, I do hope that there will be pre-fight negotiations like rehydration or even the size of the ring.

On the question why the scammer Tank has chosen to fight Pitbull instead of Shakur, this might be because Tank wants this rematch. He also did not have a good performance on the fight before. According to Tank, he broke his hand on round 2 or round 3. However, we cannot be certain if this is real or fake news.
