I can bet on Bitcoin Price to increase in the future because of the level of market adoption for Bitcoin as speculative assets, and if you check since history, Bitcoin have always put in the best foot in terms of consistency of value increase over the long term investments plans,

While did you guys still rely so much on the past history of Bitcoin? Funny enough you're still using the past history to determine how the price of Bitcoin would look like in the future. And yeah if we look at the past history of Bitcoin it's clear that there has been a great improvement in the value but that's aside we should be more concern about the current situation of Bitcoin.

the only time one can not get profits, is when the investors should put in money and expect a profit with in the shortest period of time, Bitcoin don't normally follow your own predictions, but it value over years will surely keep increasing.

That's not true even though we don't accept short term investment here  yet there are people who made profit from Their short term investment, but even at that it's not advised to invest for Short term with Bitcoin because Bitcoin is not always good in short term but it is good when you invest and HODL for Long term probably 5-10 years or  more.

to start investing in Bitcoin and one of them is that each of us who wants to start more or less must have a reserve fund with the aim of if there is a deviation in the beginning of our accumulation, it seems that with this reserve fund we can not have to sacrifice what we have done in accumulation, because the accumulation we are doing is only for investing and investing I think still requires at least 2 years while gaining knowledge about the depth of investing and this often happens to those beginners who sometimes underestimate investment by not having an emergency fund as a support for the smoothness of their investment.

I don't really get your points or what you are trying to proclaim about the funds you need before you begin your investment, but for clarity, what you need to begin your investment is discretionary income, yea. You don't need a reserve funds to start your investment as you mentioned. The reserve funds are built from your Discretionary income, and so, if an investor is able to figure out his discretionary income, he can buy Bitcoin in small quantities.

Having back up funds is very important, and it helps to protect your investment from quick crash or premature selling when emergencies shows up, but investors who have figured out there discretionary income can actually start buying Bitcoin immediately and build the back up funds simultaneously.

I don't think he is using the past history to determine how the price will look like tomorrow or in the future, nope. I think by his reference, he is just showing that Bitcoin is a store of value, and that if you hold Bitcoin for longer period, there is every possiblity of Bitcoin gaining price increment and increasing it's value.

Sincerely, I believe Bitcoin's past history is a major source of motivation to new investors today. It's history helps to teach and/or show that it is a pure store of value. So I don't see anything wrong when one refers to the history of a things in reference to the presence.

Investors who bought Bitcoin 10 years back, who has seen the volatility of Bitcoin and have stayed through it's movement, either upwards, downwards and/or sideways will always reflect to its historical appreciation in market value over the years, because it shows clearly that Bitcoin is a store of value.

It's not a must that a brand new investor should have discretionary income before starting his bitcoin investment so that,

Your statement is contradictory to what is needed to start investing in bitcoin, since isn’t mandatory for a newbie to have discretionary income before they can start investing in bitcoin, so what is required for a brand new investor to start investing in bitcoin, what is required to start investing in bitcoin is a discretionary income, so if you’re saying this here, then you’re going to be misleading newbies here with your statement, considering your rank I will assume you’ve been investing and buying bitcoin, if I may ask when you started investing in bitcoin did you start your investment outside your discretionary income ?, because if you did invest outside your discretionary incomes, by investing with money meant for your expenses then that is a huge blunder you’re making, and you might end up buying selling like a trader.

I think that was a mistake and @Frankolala has corrected the mistake. I know he is not a beginner in this forum so I went to check the post if that was what he said but I realized he has edited the post and it was a mistake and sometimes people make mistake when typing it is very normal. Well, it is good you pointed it out so he would correct it before the information will mislead a newbie because some newbie do carry almost everything they see without analyzing it whether it is correct or not.

All these strategies must be followed, but there are some more own strategies by following which you can hold Bitcoin holdings for a long time. In this situation, investing in Bitcoin is the most important and ensures future financial savings.

It always surprises me when an investor becomes more focused on quick profits than on long term investment.

It shouldn’t surprise you much, such a person wasn’t an investor in the first place. Traders are always after quick profits.

You should not make decisions in a hurry. Expecting quick profits and actually following a trading strategy are not the same thing. As an investor, expecting excessive profits at the beginning is certainly not a good thing. But someone can expect good results in the future by saving Bitcoin for a long time, buying regularly. This does not mean that he is not an investor just because he expects profits.

I personally think that you can find the difference between an investor and a trader through their work. If you regularly increase your savings in Bitcoin with discretionary income and do not sell during market fluctuations, then I would say that your behavior is very much like an investor. In this case, you do not become a trader directly just because you expect profits.

On the other hand, if someone else sells repeatedly in the hope that he will buy again when the price drops. Then it becomes a trading strategy. In some cases, an investor and a trader may have the desire to make profits, but their decision-making style is different.

You can't use the past to determine the presence of Bitcoin and there’s no guarantee that it must replicate the nature setting new highs, why people are feel that Bitcoin is a good form on long term investment is because they're optimistic/have conviction that the future of Bitcoin would be better.

That's why beginners need not to bothering themselves about beng overaggresive with their accumulation because Bitcoin is still at the early years, being aggressive might not be that but over doing it could complicate the investment.
In regards to being overagressive in Bitcoin investment, for me, a beginner should start first with their discreationary income, I do not think that being overagressive should be the major focus for beginners, rather doing what they can do within their power to consistently invest should be more of their priority.
Being aggressive in Bitcoin accumulation both as a beginner or as experienced investor does not mean investing outside of the discretionary income. It involves investing with the major part of the discretionary income and must not be mistaken with investing with the funds meant to cover basic needs. There is no way an investor will invest with funds for basic needs and still be able to hold. This does not work that way because as soon as you make the mistake of investing money meant for basic needs, you lost the ability to HODL because something small can make you sell you Bitcoin to settle.

Maintain buying Bitcoin with part of discretionary income because that is the only way the Bitcoin investment.

The amount of time a guy has been buying bitcoin and how big their portfolio is definitely does matter especially whenever talks of selling comes up.
Normally you’d expect that someone who has been in the bitcoin market for years and has a significant portfolio size would have seen a lot of ups and downs, so any advice or take they give tends to carry some weight cos they seemingly have experience.

But yeah @Gragebox wasn’t necessarily proclaiming that guys should sell their bitcoin whenever they feel like, i think what he meant was that guys should not throw away their accumulation plan because of pressure or greed and IMO, he’s making a fair point, doesn’t matter if he’s a Pleb or a newbie, or how long you @Perfect-world have been around in the market.

Certainly, DCA and holding for the long term is still the better route for many folks, but please don’t use the “how long have you been buying” question to shut down the conversation, experience matters but that doesn’t make every other person’s view automatically wrong or invalid, at least not in this context.

I had also questioned what the fuck is going on with Gragebox, so it seems to me that Perfect-World had asked some valid question, especially when guys seem to be deviating into discussions of selling bitcoin without putting some kind of a meaningful context to their inclusion of selling in this investment-related thread, and specifically my ideas about investing, which does not have a whole hell of a lot to do with selling unless guys are getting into their overaccumulation phase or maybe they made mistakes or maybe buy and replace, and whatever the selling case, guys who are posting here should be putting some context into why the fuck they are selling or planning on selling if the presumption is likely that they are still accumulating.. so yeah, did Gragebox give us some kind of a context to justify his talking about selling as some kinds of a reasonable strategy.. I don't recall seeing Gragebox providing any kind of an adequate, reasonable and even thread-appropriate boundary in his explanation.. perhaps it is like Gragebox is lost in terms of which thread he is in?

[edited out]
Not every investor's goal may be to make a good profit. You don't actually know everyone's main goal. Someone's goal may be to accumulate wealth in the long term, someone's goal may be to preserve the value of savings, and someone may have specific financial goals. Did you know that when a person's goal is different, the timeframe and decisions may also be different.

Again, holding it for the long term is not a guarantee of good results. The price of Bitcoin may decrease, the investor must also consider his own income, necessary expenses, emergency funds, and how long he can keep the money intact.

We are also talking about accumulation and even the various stages that come thereafter in terms of my ideas about investment, so surely throughout this thread I have described various frame works that I consider to be investment into bitcoin rather than trading or randomly setting weird goals... .. so if guys are considering investing in terms of 4-10 year timelines, and mostly 10 years and above, then that may well eliminate a lot of the shorter term goals, unless you want to describe some valid goals that you believe might be shorter than 10 years or above that are not necessarily related to age and/or health?

We are not in a thread that has an anything goes kind of framework since we are both talking about investing and we are also more specifically talking about my ideas related to investing.. so that ends up narrowing down the propositions that we can have any goals that we like.. since I consider "any goals that we like" to not really be investing and not really be what we are talking about in this thread.

Maybe you @Rhow want to reconsider your response in terms of the actual topic of this thread?

Now if the coin you mean is bitcoin then everything is wrong by selling your bitcoin when you are still at your early stage because you are still to be buying BTC by then, the only time an investor should sell their bitcoin is when they have reached their BTC over accumulation, and this doesn't mean they will sell all their BTC HODLing and become a no coiner no but rather they can sell small if necessary and continue to hold onto.
Well, I agree with this after understanding what you said we can only sell after everything has reached the peak of our accumulation. It's impossible to sell what we've already accumulated after just a few months, or what could be called the early stages of our investment journey. Therefore, I agree with your idea our accumulation hasn't reached the peak we desire, especially since our goal is only to invest long-term. I also think that continuing to do this is a sign of their unpreparedness for Bitcoin investment.

There are often discussions in this forum regarding someone's readiness to start investing in Bitcoin and one of them is that each of us who wants to start more or less must have a reserve fund with the aim of if there is a deviation in the beginning of our accumulation, it seems that with this reserve fund we can not have to sacrifice what we have done in accumulation, because the accumulation we are doing is only for investing and investing I think still requires at least 2 years while gaining knowledge about the depth of investing and this often happens to those beginners who sometimes underestimate investment by not having an emergency fund as a support for the smoothness of their investment.

In this thread, we talk about anything less than 4 years as trading, not investing.  So you must be lost @Dxdiax26 if you believe that 2 year timelines for supposed investing fits in this thread, since that is trading and not investing.. so you might want to go to some other thread (or create your own) to talk about your 2-year timelines for investing (which are really trading timelines).

I don't know why the fuck you are proclaiming that there is some issue about whether to build up 3 months or 6 months, since there is no issue in this thread, since 3 months comes before 6 months, and it may be totally retarded to be focusing on building up back up funds greater than 3 months unless either the amount invested into bitcoin had been 6 months or more of expenses or maybe the bitcoin had appreciated to such an extent that it justifies building up greater levels of back up funds.

Of course, if someone has a lot of uncertainties in their income and/or expenses and/or they might even know that they are likely to suffer from loss of future income or increased future expenses, then in those circumstances, they might well be justified to build up back up funds greater than 3 months.. yet even then building up back up funds of anything close to 6 months might seem like bad financial management...so it seems a bit retarded to be proclaiming that there is some 3-6 month spread in this thread, when there is not... my ideas do not presume 3-6 months, but instead, I suggest working up to 3 months, and then perhaps building some more based on an ongoing building of the bitcoin holdings or maybe some special cashflow circumstances that might justify building more than 3 months of back up funds.
The amount of a person's backup fund will depend entirely on the person and their income, expenses and discretionary income. If someone says that it is mandatory to have a three-month, six-month backup fund for investment, then that is not the right advice. If investors plan to invest in Bitcoin and keep a backup fund ready at the same time, I think it will be good for both sides. Having a backup fund ready along with the investment will protect them from selling their investments suddenly.

With investment and emergency funds, the investor needs to create a situation where the investment is maintained continuously and if any financial danger arises, that danger can be easily dealt with through a backup fund.

I think your attempt (@B2Z) to elaborate on what I said makes what I said more confusing.  My original responses are likely more clear than your confusing elaboration attempt.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Yes, one of the most important basic strategies is discretionary income. The mental preparation and patience to continue holding Bitcoin for the long term. This mental preparation will be developed by practicing Bitcoin. There are many tempting things in the market that will tempt you to sell quickly or withdraw a small profit during a period of price increase but you need to plan for the long term 4-10 years or more.

Having a cash fund to buy additional Bitcoin fractions during dumping periods during a regular stay in Bitcoin is a good investment strategy that makes it easier to reach the over accumulation stage during this designated period. An emergency fund can surety provide security in the long term, without having to withdraw Bitcoin holding in times of emergency.

An investor may want to save Bitcoin for a long time, setting aside money for his necessary expenses and emergency funds. But when the price increases a little, he thinks that he will sell now and buy it later at a lower price. Here his problem is not an urgent need, but rather he is shifting away from his plan to increase his savings and relying on the next price estimate.

Such a person is not an investor at all. Anyone that is carried away by little market increase is a trader and not an investor. We should know that the volatility of Bitcoin will always be there, and some situations, it is moving upwards, and sometimes, downwards or sideways. Rushing to sell shows that the person is a trader that is after quick gains. Investors HODL for different circles, 4-10 years and more. They don't rush to sell, they try to buy consistently using the DCA as they can afford.

Many traders actually wants the joy of being addressed as Bitcoin investors when all they do is trading, they're always at alert for every little or serious increase and then what follows is sales of their Bitcoin for profit. And this are the kind of traders that doesn't give clear interpretation of what Bitcoin investment is to newbies, they will always explain their Bitcoin trading as Bitcoin investment and then address themselves as Bitcoin investors.

You tend to mention so many things or strategies that is needed to invest in Bitcoin. This might even be confusing the newbie investor to understand. Just make it simple and understandable. All you need is your Discretionary income to start.

In this thread, all what you need to begin your investment is your Discretionary income. Your ability to figure out what your Discretionary income is gives you the enablement to start your investment immediately. You can't be learning strategies upon strategies before you start. Once you have started, you will learn other things slowly.

It's not a must that a brand new investor should have discretionary income before starting his bitcoin investment so that, he doesn't waste more time as a no coiner. Provided that your discretionary income is available, you can start buying bitcoin right away and build your emergency funds simultaneously with your bitcoin investment.
You are trying to contradict yourself here. You said a new investor doesn't need to have his discretionary income before investing in Bitcoin now you are saying if his discretionary income is available he can start buying Bitcoin what are you trying to point out. Let's say you don't get it correctly, your discretionary income gives you the confidence to keep accumulating Bitcoin without fear of the happenings in the market. You have no fear because the amount you are using to invest is not something that you will need any time soon and if something happens that requires urgent expenses you can use your emergency funds to take care of it and not temper with your Bitcoin.

Having emergency funds is necessary as an investor it helps you not to depend on your investment money when you have any emergency that's why every investor should have it and not try to do any form of investment with it.

For clarity, discretionary funds are absolutely needed to invest in bitcoin, since we should not be trying to invest in bitcoin with non-discretionary funds.

Of course, if guys have sufficient back up funds, then from time to time they could invest into bitcoin beyond their discretionary funds, but then they would be reliant upon drawing from their back up funds to cover basic expenses, which would tend to be a bad practice unless they just happen to have a lot of back up funds that are available to them.

And, by the way, a person might start out investing in bitcoin with little to no back up funds, and they likely are going to be needing to build up their back up funds at the same time that they are accumulating bitcoin, yet if they had been investing a while into bitcoin and also building up their back up funds at the same time, then it may well be the case that they have more wiggle room to sometimes make mistakes and/or to invest into bitcoin beyond their discretionary funds because their back up funds are sufficiently large to make sure that they have enough money for basic expenses in case some basic expenses need to be paid prior to their next paycheck.

At the same time, many guys have attempted to warn other members to be careful in their tapping into their back up funds and/or their reliance on their back up funds to buy bitcoin, since it may well end up being the case that they are overly depleting their back up funds, and so if in the near future they end up having loss of income and/or increases in their expenses, then they may well find that they had been overly fucking around and that they end up not having enough money to cover their expenses, and they end up having no choice but to tap into their bitcoin at atime that was not of their own complete choosing.

[edited out]
I can bet on Bitcoin Price to increase in the future because of the level of market adoption for Bitcoin as speculative assets, and if you check since history, Bitcoin have always put in the best foot in terms of consistency of value increase over the long term investments plans, the only time one can not get profits, is when the investors should put in money and expect a profit with in the shortest period of time, Bitcoin don't normally follow your own predictions, but it value over years will surely keep increasing.

Get the fuck out of here with your nonsense proclamations about bitcoin being guaranteed to keep increasing in price when that is not necessarily the case.

You should be able to figure out ways to talk about your positiveness about bitcoin without acting as if bitcoin's future (or even your own future in relation to bitcoin) is guaranteed, when it is not.

That is the reason why we often emphasise that you hold your Bitcoin for a long period of time as an investment goal, and the reason why we see Bitcoin investment approaches like DCA being the most talked-about and practised means of Bitcoin accumulation based on discretionary income spending.

You must be in the wrong thread.  In this thread, we say, "don't invest in bitcoin any more than you can afford to lose."   We also say that you better spend some time paying attention to your cashflow management practices and systems so that you can strengthen those practices and ongoingly build your bitcoin wealth and even your overall investment portfolio wealth, yet even if you do everything perfectly, there is no guarantee that you will end up being profitable in either your bitcoin investment or your investment portfolio wealth management.

Maybe you should read back through various posts in this thread (especially mine) to try to get yourself on topic and not contradicting various discussion frameworks within the thread.

We are not talking about short-term investing and/or trading in this thread, unless there is some specific reason to bring it up that might relate to the topic of this thread.. .. so surely, by now, most guys should recognize this as an investment thread.. and yeah, my ideas related to investing is that the timeline should be 4-10 years or longer, and most guys should be thinking 10 years or longer, unless they have age/health reasons that might not allow them to invest 10 years or longer.. and of course, there could be some other reasons that less than 10 year investment timelines might make sense, even though if try to argue nonsense that don't relate to age and/or health then they better provide some context to justify why it might make sense to have bitcoin investment timelines that are less than 10 years that are not related to health and/or age.

The strength of bitcoin's current investment thesis and possible price appreciation into the future is not based on the mere fact that it has performed well historically, so yeah, it is problematic (and likely too superficial) to be understanding bitcoin ONLY in terms of its history.  Maybe you need to try harder to figure out why you are investing into bitcoin and the various justifications that go beyond the fact that its price had gone up in the past?

As a courtesy to other members participating in this thread, when members go back and edit their posts based on subsequent discussion in the thread about their post or about the contents of their post, then they should be highlighting within their edited post the areas that they had edited within their earlier post so that their edits are sufficiently clear to other members, especially if members had already specifically criticized some of the contents of their previous post.

Highlighting subsequent editing is just a courtesy that each of us should be doing if we either make mistakes or we had to go back to edit our posts after they had been already posted for a while prior to the edits.

To invest in Bitcoin, you need all the necessary things, if you do not follow the basic strategies, you can sometimes face danger with Bitcoin investment. So to avoid danger, we must follow the basic strategies and our own strategies, there are many strategies about Bitcoin investment, among which you need to maintain a prudent and emergency fund and the continuity of Bitcoin purchases.

All these strategies must be followed, but there are some more own strategies by following which you can hold Bitcoin holdings for a long time. In this situation, investing in Bitcoin is the most important and ensures future financial savings.

You (@As-Soon-As) seem to be proclaiming that there is some perfect strategy in order to invest in bitcoin, which surely is not true.

Guys who have discretionary income can get started buying bitcoin and they can figure out how much discretionary income that they have so they can decide how much to invest, how much to save and how much to discretionarily spend.

Sure, it might take a bit of practice to get used to how much discretionary income is available each week (or whatever investment period), but with practice guys can get better at figuring out how much is comfortable for them, and yeah they might make mistakes from time to time, yet if they figure out that they have $100 in discretionary funds that are available, then maybe on purpose they choose to ONLY use $30 to buy bitcoin and then to reassess their situation in the next week or the next time that they get paid to figure out if they want to continue withe $30 per week or if there might be some other amount that might be more comfortable for them.

Your post is confusing @Primark, since this is an investing thread and it seems a bit of a distraction to be talking or spending a lot of time thinking about profits.  If you are figuring out how much to DCA into bitcoin, then how does profits really become part of your thinking if you might be thinking that your investment timeline is 4-10 years or longer?  It seems a bit of a distraction to to be proclaiming that "it is o.k. to think about profits" instead of trying to figure out the various other ways to talk about bitcoin and to talk about cashflow management in order that guys might come to realize that they may well be spending quite a bit of time just ongoingly buying bitcoin, unless they have some ways that they are able to front load their investment.

How exactly does supposed profits fit into the discussion, even if a guy might be able to front load his investment and invest several months of his income or even a year or more of his income into bitcoin at one time.  Perhaps you want to give us some examples about how guys are going to be accumulating their bitcoin in terms of an investors mindset and what role exactly does profits play when you are really figuring out the guys investment timeline?  Are you thinking about 4-10 years or longer or do you have something else in mind?  Maybe you want to give some kind of an example that you would consider to be investment oriented, and without devolving into talking about trading?

[edited out]
Yes, one of the most important basic strategies is discretionary income.

You must be lost @laijsica.  This here cat never said that fucking around to buy dips is a good investment strategy or that it would result in getting more bitcoin.  I should probably start to delete your posts if you can't figure out how to say things in ways that make sense.

Structuring bitcoin buys around dips that might not happen is not a good investment strategy.. so fuck off with such nonsense.. or take your nonsense to some other thread. .such as a trading thread or maybe a retards thread?

An emergency fund can surety provide security in the long term, without having to withdraw Bitcoin holding in times of emergency.

Of course, back up funds (that includes emergency funds) can be built up at the same time that a guy is buying bitcoin, so he may well not start out with a lot of back up funds, and so the mere fact that back up funds are present, that does not mean that all cash flow problems will be resolved including preventing the need to tap into bitcoin at a time that is not of the investor's complete choosing.

What if someone doesn't have disposable income When needs arise, how can we meet the basic necessities of life with our families such as kitchen utensils which can't be postponed Meanwhile my friend said that for beginner investors, if they follow the previous question, they don't need or are required to have disposable income. I completely agree with your answer, my friend. The answer doesn't align with what is being discussed, especially since what you said is not in our opinion.

How can someone facilitate their Bitcoin investment without disposable income I was also surprised after understanding what they said, when they sentenced beginner investors not to need such funds. The main reason for protecting investments is simply having these funds as something that can save investments that are sometimes only recently accumulated through DCA.

Whatsoever profit that you think that short-term investors have made, dosen't necessarily mean that they are in a better position that those who have held their Bitcoin for long term durations...And so I believe that folks need to understand that Bitcoin is better approached with a long term mindset since doing so enable folks to better accumulate Bitcoin while giving their holdings a sufficient number of timeframe for it to grow without the investor having to react to every price movement...Then again, long term investment wouldn't still guarantee you profit due to Bitcoin's very own volatile nature, but at least it tend to place folks in more better position than they would have been with trading and short term investments...

Things has changed and will keep changing everyday. So what will determine today’s price are things happening today, what will determine tomorrow prices are things that will happen tomorrow. You can look at the past to know about bitcoin developments, who invented it and why it was invented. Those are things that will remain constant. But past prices should not form part or your today’s or tomorrow investment decisions. Look at the present day realities so you will make an informed decision.

I have only but a few words for such people which are " abstain from it" otherwise they will become a victim of what they are doing or a victim of themselves because clearly they are the ones putting themselves in situation that will consume them.  You can not be a trader and expecting to be address as an investor it is obvious the person doesn't even know what he or she want in life, it means they have no vision and they don't trust what they are doing and it can lead to confusion or distraction within oneself. One can never be called an investor if they don't posses the attributes or character of an investor.

I believe that the past of Bitcoin gives us confidence, and the present situation is going to help us formulate our strategy. In case there is a bear market condition in the market, then the past will remind us that this is nothing new for Bitcoin and it has come out of such conditions before and initiated a new bull run. However it is essential to study the past in order to know the significance of events like halving on the market. This prevents the common investors from making panic sell decision. It is very important to have knowledge about the history when you have a long term vision.

However, it would be incorrect to base the trading decisions of the present time according to the price history of 5 to 10 years back. In case you wish to make an entry now, then you need to take into account the global economic conditions. In simple words, the past gives us the courage to hold, and the present tells us to take intelligent decisions at appropriate times.

@Jostern why did you quote half statement from Frankolala post even when there's a coma sign that indicates that the statement is incomplete? You probably didn't read the full post to understand his point. I checked the post and it's actually edited so I assumed initially there was a typographical error that later got corrected. He meant to say that newbies don't need to wait until they have reserved funds before they start their investment. What they need to have is discretionary funds. There's a difference between reserve funds and discretionary funds but many people misunderstood them as one but they are not. You basically can build your reserve funds from your discretionary funds which means you can invest and at the same time build your reserve funds. Your reserve funds don't have its own source separately, it normally comes from your discretionary funds.

One thing with investing with discretionary income is that you don't need to pressure yourself to invest in what you can't afford to lose, but rather invest according to your financial strength. Because of this, some investors invest in Bitcoin with ease, which gives them the confidence to invest in Bitcoin consistently.

However, not everyone who invests in Bitcoin with discretionary income does so without panic; some may panic for different reasons. Investing with discretionary income is not a guarantee that everyone will have a smooth investing journey without any interruptions. Regardless of the fear some individuals may have, even when they invest with discretionary income, investing with discretionary income is the best way to invest using a DCA strategy.
You really have a point. it is safe to invest with your discretionary income but when a investors begins to pressure themselves to invest with the money they will need to cover basic things, it becomes investment that's able to ruin someone future because money that is supposed to be used to do other essential things are used for investment that make yield or not, but when a money like the discretionary income is used for investment, it's safe for the person's mental health because he will not be on unnecessary pressure.
Regardless of the investment or the money used for the investment, It does not guarantee the success of that investment but at least your mental health will not be affected as when you used the whole money you have to invest and you did not get the return the way you want. So it's something you need to invest in and just forget about it, if it yields, fine but if not. you can just move on.

It is not mandatory that a newbies should have emergency funds before the can invest in Bitcoin, rather what they need is their discreationary income to start, then the can acumulate along with building their emergency funds, or are you advising that someone who has not started investing should first build an emergency funds before they can start investing, I'm not disputing the fact that emergency funds has a pivotal role it plays in protecting our Bitcoin investment specifically during an unexpected financial circumstances, for starters, discreationary income has to come first then emergency funds can follow cause they should start the investment before putting out measures to safeguard it.
