Brazil has already had its golden days as king of the soccer universe. But between 2005-2006 the scenario completely changed. I don't know if Brazil decreased their performance quality or if it's just that another countries and leagues heavily developed their skills and techniques.

Personally, I think it has something to do with discipline as well, because brazilian soccer athletes usually aren't totally commited with their professional careers. They like partying, eating junk food, drinking, smoking, using drugs... And of course it affects not only their physical, but also their social behavior towards another people and the society. As we can see many of these players faced or are facing serious legal proceedings for different crimes.

I think that's the point. Brazilian football hasn't changed much, in fact now it even has more money and better infrastructure. What has changed is European football, which has invested more in training and this has led to fewer and fewer players being picked up in Brazil.

This in turn made Brazilian football gradually become less attractive to Europeans. Then it snowballs: more European athletes - fewer Brazilian athletes, fewer Brazilian athletes - less attention to Brazilian football, less attention to Brazilian football - increasing disinterest on the part of Europeans.

Even in America there are many teams that have an equal or better level than Brazil than a few years ago.
I miss having more options for betting on Brazilian football championships, however, in fact there is no demand for betting for that.
I myself prefer to bet on European leagues rather than Brazilian ones, but I still don't let go of my passion for Brazilian national football.

Yes, investment by clubs has always been very strong, but I was referring to the Brazilian government, in sport in general.

I wonder what that list is based on. I do believe that there are quite a few talents in this competition. But a competition like in the English Premier League can't possibly be beaten, can it? I see this Brazilian competition more as a kind of breeding ground, where talented and good players can prove themselves and in that way be scouted for a top Eropean competition.

I congratulate the Brazilian league! The IFFHS has never been involved in controversy, at least as far as I'm concerned. And here in Europe, if that were the case, we would know for sure.

I wonder how PREMIER LEAGUE has only come second in recent years. All over Europe, fans recognize that English football is the most interesting to watch and very balanced. That's why this classification is strange.

Considering the fact that Premier League is the most viewed and anticipated and the most interesting League in football, this news seems quite weird to me. 
I mean there has to be something by which this is influenced. But the problem is no one has any proof to back this up so we have to agree with this even though maybe we don't want to.

The criteria must be more sinister than those used by FIFA to elect the best player of the the world, better not worry too much about it and go back to the subject of the OP...

I don't know if I've said it already, but this year the championship will be played from April 9 to November 13, ending earlier due to the World Cup.

The news has been indicating that Jorge Jesus may return to Brazilian football, this time to Corinthians.
Flamengo fans won't like it very much. They are very fierce and it will be tough for Jorge Jesus when he faces Flamengo.

Well, the Premier League is undoubtedly the most watched, but I think the Brazilian League is not very relevant because it perhaps lacks much more publicity and this is something that has a lot to do with the enthusiasm that can be unleashed in people, itself , the Brazilian style is unique, it is what we all know as the "JOGO BONITO" it has the best South American style with an exquisite technique, therefore the goals are spectacular, it is a very showy football, the European teams have another style, it is more linear, rougher and with its classic European technique, that is why Brazilian soccer attracts many, and for a reason they are the ones with the most world cups.
