Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov discloses Russia will not pause its offensive for, or during, any further talks with Ukraine.

Seems like they wont really be stopping anytime soon despite of sanctions and boycotting or other means.

It will be interesting to see how many countries will step up their opposition to the Putin's regime after the killing of innocent civilians. Russia is losing the moral high ground. So we can expect an increase of the pressure against Russia, which will eventually push Russia into the quagmire that it was aiming for.
Of course, no one expected this war at the beginning, but it happened anyway. Let's keep the pressure up. We cannot let the deplorable murder of civilians go unpunished.

I am very sorry for the fate of most of the young Russian boys who thought they were going to military exercises. Putin thought he would win this war in a few days, but unfortunately he was wrong. Recent intelligence reports say that the huge amount of money Putin spent preparing this invasion has been largely defrauded. It is possible that this is only an explanation of their defeat, but it is possible that it also proves what kind of country Russia is.

I think because in the latest poll 82-88% of Russians back the Russian president and the invasion of Ukraine which is being shown on Russian State TV as "liberation of Ukraine from the Nazis" it is ok to not boycott only gambling sites but everything coming from Russia,they have already been disconnected from much of the world by being let to pay only with rubles and suffering to a horrible level to find dollars.This should be an ongoing situation until Russia stops this senseless invasion.Even worse now Finland and Sweden are more keen than ever willing to join NATO,a step which would be a huge strategic mistake made by the Russian government.

Some people did support it with their specific reasons. However, I didn't participate in this matter because I just don't see the point of this initiative. To answer your question, there would be a little to no impact at all for Russian community from this boycotting movement. The only people that would suffer would be those people who own a gambling business. Which perhaps are also innocent and aren't in favor of the war happening. In this case, the innocent ones are being persecuted by the things they didn't do or want.

It's simply unjustifiable to generalize and blame all of them just because their leader did something bad. It's their aggressive president and his military who did the act, not the civilians. Despite the poll surveys that depict high rate of favorness of the citizens to their presidents (which could be manipulated), there are still people protesting against it even if it could cost their freedom.

Is that friends, I know that many are indignant about what is happening in Ukraine, but who is not indignant? It is something very difficult to control, but what we can control is that things do not escalate, we are all human, we have blood, flesh and bones, the fact that a representative of that country is acting in such a cruel way does not it means that all Russians are bad people, I think there are things that should be separated, the world is very corrupt with very bad things, and we forget that we are all brothers and that brothers sometimes fight and at some point they will forgive each other I don't like to see sites go bankrupt when projects are destroyed due to hate, sometimes having a little tact with sites and people can be the solution.
Honestly, the solution will never be in the boycott of Russian sites, I think things should and I know they can be fixed without harm.

Its totally unfair honestly because innocent people or business owners would be affected on what their Leader had done even though its a bit unethical this kind of consideration of boycotting something

Well said, I never supported the boycott of the Russian gambling platforms just like many Russians never supported the agenda of Putin to attack the Ukrainians. I think for their boycotting of the gambling platforms owns by Russian citicens is to compel Putin to stop his political agenda. I don't think this boycotting will have much effects on Putin's agenda.

There are some opinions here. From what they are saying here, it is clear that they are not getting a lot of Russian wars here. Valid point. It's not the Russian owners fault that their president's move and actions are aggressively twisted and self-serving. It is never the citizens fault that the country they currently in is invading another country. Even if there is a lot of people that back up Putin's movement toward invasion of Ukraine, there are still people against it and they shouldn't be convicted for the crime they didn't do.

If a gambling website or casino owned by a Russian citizen is serving you well, giving you the best quality of service and entertainment, perhaps a source of income too, why would you boycott it? Given that they are not even a part of the frontline of war. It just don't add up.

I know all these "main points" very well. It is stupid to blame and punish whole nation due to choices several people made.

Whole topic idea does not fit to this forum. Why should we discuss on cryptocurrency forum an action, that has not roots to cryptocurrency. I dont know any Russian gambling site, that support cryptocurrency. It does not make any sense discussing this boycott. Many people who has left posts on this topic, does not even had Russian Rubles on their accounts, does not held Russian Ruble cash, not visited Russian casinos.

Gambling, is often such a shady business, that I doubt it pays taxes fully or pay them at all. This is not the source of treasure funding. Gambling is a tiny source of army funding.

P.S. Or maybe I dont get the point of this topic. Maybe the point of it is to call Russians gamblers to boycott their local gambling platform. While being disabled from swift and visa (not being able to gamble on foreign sites), I doubt that they will boycott they local platforms.
