Delhi did cross the 200 mark but this 207 score doesn't look daunting at this surface.

We shouldn't forget that 200+score at this same ground is not big deal, 1 team already chased down mammoth total once so it's not impossible and SRH do have fair amount of chance.

Good to see Warner scoring runs against his franchise (SRH  ), after all he was prominent face of the SRH's setup for many years.

And that's another loss for me. It's becoming more and more difficult to predict the winners and the margins as we get closer to the playoffs stage.

I would have bet on DC if I knew beforehand that Natarajan got injured and wouldn't be playing since he is the best bowler in their line-up currently. SRH are sinking currently while DC are rising back to the top.

Looks like CSK are out of the playoffs race along with MI. Crazy to think that these two heavyweights are out of the playoffs race so early. The big changes to this season were phenomenal and made a huge impact overall.

It's still tough for RCB to qualify at this point, but they have some hope now thanks to this win. Extremely entertaining season so far.

Chennai's future depends on next(Gujrat Titans) top 3 teams points. They would hope that next 3 teams get stuck at 14 points along with them, that means lots of "If and Buts". They would also prefer if qualification comes down to NRR. Although seems highly unlikely scenario considering every team is playing 14 matches each and majority of them do have at least 4 more matches to go.

RCB on the other hand got only 3 matches left so they are in tricky situation atm.

CSK is out let's just accept that fact, creating imaginary scenarios using calculation is a sign of a true fan however practically these miracles have a extremely low probability of happening. I do see the tournament currently too skewed, until now it looks as if GT and LSG are surely going to make it, but for the next two spots there is a big fight between 6 teams primarily, with RR in the best situation and KKR in the worst. Tomorrow's match is just a fixture has no relevance for the points table, while the match day after will be a decider if PBKS loses I think their road to playoffs will become tough

Well said. I never expected Gujarat to not score 10 runs from 7 balls when they still had plenty of hitters remaining in their squad. Sudarshan hit wicket and a couple of run-outs towards the end made it feel like this match was fixed to some extent.

Daniel Sams is an average bowler and he actually managed to give away just 3 runs in his final over which is seriously bizarre. Looks like @teosanru grabbed pole position currently.

MI had me lose almost 3-4 bets that I placed on them but they have adequately compensated for that with last two wins . Surprising was that I am still betting on them after so many losses. But they gave me 2 Margin points in both their last 2 matches. When they socred 177 I thought I might get 1 point today but with 10 runs in the last over and with likes of Miller and Tewatia on the crease I thought it's a cakewalk, even after the wicket I though Rashid Khan would do this pretty easily but Daniel Sams with just limited weapons in his arsenal bowled pretty nice slower ones, he didn't attempt any yorker near the batsmen which actually is the prime reason bowlers get hit for boundaries in death overs.

I guess no one expected that Daniel Sams could actually defend 10 runs against Miller, Tewatia and Rashid but surprisingly he did.

I also had no hope when i saw Miller and Tewatia batting at the crease and went to bed early, only to check in the morning that MI won the match. I'll watch some highlights now.

A crucial game and Kolkata Knight Riders surrendered completely, just saw some powerful hitting from Andre Russell which was missing for a few matches and the rest of the batsman struggled to score runs. The over Shivam Mavi bowled changed the match upside down where he conceded 5 sixes and from that they never recovered and now official out of the tournament.

MI were out when they lost 8 in a row itself. Even a miracle couldn't get them into the playoffs after that losing streak. They need to replace Pollard too.

I don't know about their calculation but I took a great hit today, lost both the points today and lost the marginal lead that I was carrying from last 2 days. I also thought the same that IPL guys would want the calculations to get more interesting so they will definitely make KKR Win  but it happened entirely the opposite. Even for PBKS also it's almost over, it's difficult to win 3 on 3 matches that are left, and from that also one is with LSG table toppers and even DC can give a great fight to them. I think race has now narrowed down to just 4 teams for 2 spots with RR in the most favorable position and the rest of the 3 being equal. The SRH vs RCB match will clear some more clouds from this.

Really bad day, myself too lost both the matches prediction. Predicted Punjab Kings will make a narrow win. Everything was going fine and at the last moment things weren't supportive as Hetmyer changed the match. So my prediction of PBKS narrow win ended with Rajasthan Royals narrow win.

In the second match picked KKR make a comfortable win, but this went as a thrashing win for Lucknow Super Giants. From the very beginning of the KKR innings there is not much of hope, but at the end Andre Russell brought in some hope which didn't last long. Hoping for the best results on today's matches.

I reached home quickly just to watch kohli bat but that excitement lasted only 1 ball. Wasn't surprised tho but i did say "OH #uck! Here we go again" 

Williamson also did the same. I wonder if SRH is now going to treat him similar to Warner? That means new skipper (Nicholas Pooran) for SRH. Pooran is now leading the Windies teams so it's possible if they dump Kane Mama.

Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capital

I put my money for the victory of Delhi today. Since Chennai's captain is now Dhoni. He is an extraordinary captain. He has the ability to take control of the match at any time. Google now shows Chennai's chances of winning 61%. Because they have scored 57 runs in 6 overs and they have not lost any wickets yet. Yet Delhi has an experienced squad. And the players are in good form. Hopefully I won't lose my money today.

Agreed. SRH and DC got thrashed royally today by RCB and CSK which was unexpected considering the fact that both RCB and CSK have been inconsistent throughout this tournaments.

Nobody expected them to play so well. As you mentioned, it looks like RR and RCB might claim the remaining 2 spots and we might finally see a new winner this time around.

This was really unexpected for me because I did not think they will produce a performance like this when it actually doesn't matter. 

But one thing I will say is that this has surely shown what a good captain can do for his team. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is a great captain and he has served the Indian team very well also. I want device he was not the captain of CSK from the start of the IPL.

KKR were playing so well initially, but they are losing wickets very quickly now. Why do they keep collapsing again and again? Disappointed with Shreyas Iyer's performance this season.

Giving up captaincy in what is most probably his final IPL season was one of the dumbest decisions that MSD ever made in my opinion. He could have guided the team in a better manner and Jadeja could have probably performed better.

I am rooting for >14 points each< clash scenario for rest of the teams (except Gujrat + Lucknow + Poor MI)

Rajasthan should lose remaining 3 matches
RCB should lose remaining 2 matches
Delhi should win 2 and lose 1
SRH should win 2 and lose 1
KKR should win 2
Punjab should win 2 and lose 1
Dhoni should win all the matches

Am getting tired of all these one sided matches these days. Some teams are suffering a lot thanks to critical players getting injured. The playoffs stage this time around will be different when compared to previous seasons(2 old teams out(CSK+MI) and 2 new teams in(GT+LSG).
