Leclerc won the qualifying session. The driver from Monaco was able to become superior to Verstappen in the qualifying session. But Max's race performance in the recent times has been at a much higher level. In Q3, Verstappen couldn't get enough power from his engine and had to pit by not being able to benefit from his last chance. It makes us question Red Bull after seeing this kind of durability problems for them.

Verstappen won this race only because of good luck to his side as Leclerc got out in the 27th lap.Verstappen had a lot of problems with his DRS opening and closing soon,or not opening at all,that is why he stayed a lot of laps behind Russell.Next week though we have again a new race in Monaco which is Leclerc home race.

As for the pool in the last three races I have climbed from 12th place to 9th place gaining one position for race.I almost together with many other this week got the yellow cap but congrats to the one who won it,casperBGD.

thanks man, did not watch the race, but seeing it is a tough round in the pool, where I had 12,5 and there is a few with 12 points, pure luck

congrats to Max, he is proving that he is worth a win this season title, Perez is second, but Russell is above Hamilton again, interesting development in Mercedes team

By Leclerc's being out of the race, Max Verstappen has closed the gap with his opponent exactly 26 points by only one race. Ferrari started the season very quickly but they can't continue the same for now. Max Verstappen is making a difference on the track thanks to the self-confidence of his championship last year. But I don't think that it was nice to see Red Bull making a team call to Perez today. It is sad to see this kind of unsportsmanlike incidents in 2022 still.

P.s: Congrats, casperBGD. You won a yellow cap second time in a row and you completed the Premier League pool at the 1st position too.

Truly deserve the spoon this round for me.

Risk everything believing a DNF from Verstappen. And I was close to everything, he had a mistake and in qualifying he had problems and in the race more problems with the DRS, but in the end the one who had a DNF was Leclerc and that buried me.

I go all in also with Mercedes, putting Russel 2 and Hamilton 3 before qualy. And i think it was so close.

It was a really tense race for some time. I was expecting a boring race in fact because Spanish GP hasn't been very enjoyable so far. But in this race, we came across really interesting things. I was very sad for Leclerc as he had a very unlucky race. He was leading the race very comfortably after Verstappen made a big mistake on turn 4. But Ferrari had the same issue that Red Bull had at the beginning of the season and Leclerc's car lost power suddenly. Verstappen took advantage of this chance very good really and now he is even ahead of Leclerc in the driver standings as far as I can see. It looks like the season is newly starting.

I did place a Verstappen first and Perez second which I got correctly and I was confident even after seeing the qualifying that maybe this would happen,of course if Leclerc would not have lost power I would have lost a lot of points but in the last three races I have put Verstappen as a winner and he was a winner.I am starting to like more the tournament now although it will be very difficult to change positions at the top of the standings now that we know that is Ferrari or Redbull who is fighting for the win.Mercedes brought some nice upgrades and can be seen in the middle of the two contenders causing for us the pool players some upset results.In Monaco Ferrari is the huge favorite but I need to see the Friday practice before I decide how to choose for the qualifying and the race.

Monaco Grand Prix this weekend!

The Monaco GP doesn't satisfy me too much in terms of being watchable because it is very hard to overtake a driver on the track. But it is still one of the races that I have been waiting for. Because it is a classic race in the calendar. I'm feeling myself lucky about winning the yellow cap this week.

Exciting weekend with F1 and also Champions League. The Grand Prix in Monaco is always a spectacle and a friend of mine is this time directly on the spot.
There are great impressions that he shares with us so at some point in life you should have seen live

Well yea , Monaco is a show outside the race and near the circuit as the race itself won't bring any big wows during the race but if somehow we have a Safety car during the first laps , we might have one great race Sunday.

For Pole , I might need to go with Lec as he deserves to take back that win from last race and let's hope bad luck won't continue for him.

It is predicted as of now rain for Sunday but I don't know if the weather will bring such spectacular race to Monaco this Sunday.Safety car here is a sure thing,for pole I will see how the free practices end today to have a better picture and indication as whom to put on pole.I believe Leclerc to place as pole position winner but if Verstappen or Perez or even a Mercedes driver is really close in gap most probably I will go for a Redbull driver to get the pole.For the race here no matter many say is predictable,for me here is unpredictable if race conditions are not normal (rain or many Safety cars).

Leclerc managed to complete both of the free practice sessions as the leader today. I was really curious about what Mercedes drivers were going to do. They seemed to be a little slow in these free practice sessions. For McLaren, especially Norris had really good laps. But these were only free practice sessions in the end and we can evaluate the situation healthier after the qualifying session tomorrow.

Congrats to the yellow cap winners which were two this time.I always check to see my result compared to those who have more points than me and it was my fault this time for not putting Sainz in the top three but going for Perez at third.I lost a position but the changes here are really little so we need to get those 6 points from the top three in order to start and climb positions,if we don't manage to get them right then most probably the change of positions of this pool will be extremely limited.

I thought that Leclerc would be able to win the race in his own country. But Ferrari's pit crew didn't let him do so. Getting 14.5 points on this race week is a really big achievement. The yellow caps are definitely deserved. Besides, you have decreased the gap with me really much too. As the season goes on, the competition level in the pool increases more as well.

I don't know if Leclerc will be strong psychologically speaking as he has got from bad to worse in the last two races and in these last two races he was leading comfortably,doing the best lap times and it showed that he has everything that is needed to win races and consequently the Championship.I am afraid the events that happened to him consecutively will have an impact on him but I hope he is strong enough and fights back,nothing is lost in the title fight,in fact now there are three,Leclerc,Verstappen and Perez.

Yes,,, LeClerc himself looked so angry because this time there was no one to blame but the drivers themselves (well of course there are other factors but I guess even he admits this one they lost when they easily could have won).

Ferrari were too confident maybe and overthought the strategy, they should have just kept it simple

Nicely done darbit and MoSala, don't think anyone saw LeClerc not get a podium finish, what a bad time to back the home boy, but no one's as pissed as himself I gather. Boring race, not so boring outcomes, definitely didn't think we'd even get a single DNF, but there we go.

Great for the neutrals though, we didn't want this season all done and dusted so soon, now did we?
