France - Iceland game was really entertaining. Both goals were scored on first and last (102th) minute of game. France actually scored two more, both it were cancelkled after VAR because of offside and handball. Penalty that Iceland scored didn't changed their faith - draw means that they're eliminated. But they ended tournament undefeated with 3 draws.
Belgium a bit unexpected won against Italy, eliminated them from tournament and earned spot in 1/4 final.
To summarize group stage, Norwat performance is biggest disappointment. Italy weren't favorites, but it's unexpected that they ended last in group.

Belgium's 1-0 win over Italy saw Belgium qualify for the first time in the quarter-finals of the Women's Euro. Tine De Caigny scored the only goal of the contest to send his team through to the last eight.

If it's not a secret, why do you bet on such low odds? I mean when I want to bet like this I always think if I bet my whole deposit I will get 10% but I could lose everything. It will be terrible and this risk stops me. If I bet 10% of the deposit, I will receive a profit of 1% of the deposit if I win. So odds like 1.1 scare me (unless it's a free bet where you can do anything).

betting on odds below @1.50 is not profitable in the long run, I even risk at least at odds of @1.40 when it's a game that I'm 70% sure I'll win, but I like to bet on odds games more from @1.70 upwards or making a multi can also be a good solution to make a profit, but in the case of a multi I also prefer a multi with odds above @1.50

By the way, 0.7 x 1.4 = 0.98 - if your estimate is correct (70% chance that the bet will win), then you lose 2% from each bet (on average). To at least not lose money, you must guess the outcome of the event with an accuracy of 71.43% if you bet on odds of 1.4.

One of the most interesting matches will take place tomorrow. England are the favourites, but the bookies estimate their chance of winning in regular time as ~50%. Most likely I will bet on this outcome. It seems to me that tiki taka will fail when playing against such a strong team as England.

Absolutely no secret to explain. It's just dumb money.

I never, NEVER like games with 1.1 and as mentioned the most I ever do is slot in 1.2 or 1.3 on an acca just to boost winnings (usually only on Liverpool since if they don't win, it's pointless winning bets anyway to me, another dumb sentiment of course).

10% returns should mean a team wins 9/10 of those games but that's never true in games with those odds. Much, much, much better to bet on them losing with odds like that. Because oh man, they will lose more than 1/10 of games with those odds!

For me, this was an isolated case of women's football, a small balance in a bookie I wanted to clear but play with to try and grow. Small enough that I won't mind losing it all, big enough that it would be pretty cool to grow it with a few EURO games.

England vs Spain
Big game for the host as they will be doing their best to stop the spanish side from playing their regular football of moving the ball around (possessive football).  IMO, the English team have the capacity to win, I predict a 2:1 win.

Sweden vs Belgium
Belgium may not be so lucky, they will have to put up a convincing performance against Sweden, the winner of this game will be difficult to predict.

Germany vs Austria
The Germans seem to be heading to the finals, i don't think Austria can stop them.

France vs Netherlands
This is going to be a tough game, the French team is very strong, if they somehow manage a win over Netherlands, their next game will be tougher, If it happens they play against Germany and win, in the Semis, I don't think any other team will be able to stop them.

Surely something wrong happened with bookmaker's software or any glitch because I just check my account on betfair, and it's showing as losing bet because I have bet on France ML and match ends in 1 - 1 draw even this happened in injury time with 12 minutes gone which is unusual but still happened, and this draw is still helpful for them as they are now out of this competition with Belgium is already in next round with win against Italy.

Now, we have all eight teams for quarterfinals with very exciting matches are coming, first match is one of the best with two good teams are fighting against each other with England is having some fair chance this time in this match.

Exactly as I predicted earlier about Iceland not going to lose but unfortunately, the scenario for Belgium to win has come true. Because if Belgium also gets a draw, then of course Iceland will be the runner-up team. But either way, Iceland have played well and still have high motivation to qualify even though in the end they had to accept this reality and ended up in the group stage. Even though they had fought until the end and as such, they were just able to score a goal in the last minute of the match and yes, at least they proved that on the pitch.

First time it happened to me too on this platform (Fairlay). I'll be a good kid and ask them about it, just for future reference. Thought maybe there was a glitch or something with the results. Strange game too, 1st goal was scored in record time, fastest ever Women's Euro goal, and last one scored as the latest ever probably.

Last match on group D and 3 teams have equal chance went to quarterfinal Belgium, Italy and Iceland will compete to get runner up position below to France but because Iceland will fight against France so they have difficult chance because i think France will beat them and for Belgium vs Italy in this match Italy is the favourite with the odds @1.86 but statistics for both of teams showed both of teams has beat each other and i was thinking possibly this match will ended with draw result

Italy and France managed to qualify for today quarter-finals, Italy which looked strong actually had to be defeated by Belgium, who played quite neatly and solidly, Italy, who played a little more aggressively, but failed to take advantage of several opportunities in the match, during the match Italy was actually more dominant in possession of the ball and they put more pressure on belgium, but unfortunately, belgium, who played more defensively by relying on counter attacks, was actually able to take advantage of good opportunities and score a winning goal when the match just entered the second half.

That Iceland vs France match was crazy.

In a world without VAR France would have won 3-0 against Iceland!

But France got two of their goals cancelled after two VARs.

And then at the absolutely last minute, I thought that corner ended up in nothing and the game was over, but suddenly there was another VAR, which ended up in a penalty for Iceland!

Absolutely crazy.

It makes you think about the technology, and if it adds or detracts from the game itself.

Some people will argue that it's more fair to use VAR

But I don't know, I kinda prefer to have the judgement of the referee as the official last word, independent of technology.

Also using VAR a lot stops the game a lot. There was so much extra time because of the added VARs.

And no, Fairlay has an impeccable record. Support always corrects things for those whose markets settle wrong (there is a public chat) and this is really the first time I have ever gotten a glitch. I never feel comfortable with bookmakers odds because mostly they try to trap punters with their own way right now we are in 80th minute of this first quarterfinal between England and Spain with first half was bored without any goal but in second half Spain take leads and still holding this with just 10 minutes to go and with this win now they are first team who is going to qualify for semifinal of this UEFA Euro Cup.

England is playing at home but still Spain is good team and having better result against them in last few matches so with this all I place a bet for visitor on draw and win which is not having 100% to win my bet because I was feeling comfortable with them for this match.

Edit:  Against all my wishes, England done goal in 86th minute, so now we are heading for extra time. But my bet is still to win.

And it's a pity that Spain scored already in the second half, I think that if this had happened in the first, then England would have had time to bounce back and come out ahead. I watched only text broadcast, so I'm not sure if my assumptions are correct. Nevertheless, England confirmed the status of the favorite by winning the game, which started badly for them. I think I will continue to bet on this team.

I somehow knew that this was how the game was going to turn out, the Spanish side is a good side and they play so well (I was impressed by Olga 's performance) however I think their problem is that they tend to switch off and stop attacking whenever they score a goal first. it happened today in their game against England after they scored the goal, they completely limited their attacks and focused on defending which is usually not good option against a team that desperately needs a goal.

The English side showed composure even when they were a goal down and even through the extra time in the game,  i see the team getting through to the finals of this competition.

So, I managed to predict that game will go to extra time. Agree with @Rruchi man, focusing on defense didn't helped for Spain, I think that England played slightly better today. Spain struggled to create something dangerous, especially in extra time after conceding goal. Stanway's goal was amazing, though, if it would be mens football, goalkeeper most likely would have saved it.
Next 1/4 final is Germany - Austria. Honestly, it's diffiuclt to expect something unexpected there.

There is no doubt this is going to be one of the best win for home team as they were struggling by one goal, and I was feeling some confident that Spain can handle this until end of this match but England done amazing job and bring down Spaniard in extra time's second half.

Now with this win England is first team who qualify for semifinal, and now they are waiting for their opponent in semifinal from Sweden vs Belgium now tonight we are going to have second quarterfinal between Germany vs Austria in today game Germany is heavyweight and can win this game which is not big issue for them because Austria is one of the weakest teams in this event.

Today, the neighbouring countries Germany and Austria meet. There's probably no doubt that Germany will win this game and Austria won't be able to score. Judging by the way Germany has played in previous games against strong teams, Austria has no chance today. I'm sure Germany will make it to the next round.
