Oh wow that's crazy, I had no idea gambling was so old. Can't believe that people already 5000 years ago enjoyed gambling. When I saw the Egyptian dice my first thought was, it looks like a dice from the Dark Eye game, it's a fantasy role play game which you play at a table and there is one story teller. He uses a dice to see if you succeed or fail in your action. Pretty funny when you think that humans didn't change much in the last several thousand years. The article should be a must read for any politician who is trying to ban  gambling in his country. How can something be wrong for society that has been enjoyed by so many generations? I wish gambling hadn't the bad reputation it has today.

Technically, almost every activity that we do these days has in existence long ago and they have some history surrounding it. What the 21 century did is an innovation of the old concept and I once read an article that says gambling was first introduced by the Chinese. I believe this could trigger the reason why gambling is illegal in China ever since the Communist Party take over as its leader.

There are many reasons why people involves in gambling, or let say people who enter the world of gambling, of them want to be happy and this kind of mindset are good as they say because when they are in gambling ang win in their bet then they will happy and they are also feel that gambling is one of the best stress reliever.

Why those people get stressed after their losses it because they used their personal money for gambling.  And that's not a good habit if we gamble make sure that we used or exist money not our budgets for our groceries and foods to sustain in our daily lives.

Some many forms of gambling had happened in the past and what is happening now is not different from what had happened thousands of years ago. Since gambling has been a thing for thousands of years of human history and part of most cultures around the world, I wonder when it started to be seen in a negative light. I'd say the advent of Christianity had much to do, however, 2000 years is a relatively short period of time when compared to the rest of the time human civilizations existed.

I wonder what is the position of Judaism, Budism, etc on gambling...
Perhaps, it is not enterely about religion but when comes to opposition to gambling religion is the first thing that comes to my mind.

Before we play gambling, we must prepare the amount of money we want to use and must not exceed the limits we set so that if we lose, we do not stress and will not deposit another amount of money. Most people continue depositing their money despite losing because they still hope to win in the next round. If you don't want to experience prolonged stress, you should be able to control yourself and not spend more money playing gambling.

Is there any chance that you may tell us where did you get that Idea of "Stopping Gambling"? this is about something from what is gambling and when this originated . and also some talks about the addiction but not in any form that gambling will be stopped .
this will work for al our lives , from generation to next generation.

you have to understand, that at least you also get payments from the services you provide from gambling sites. although you may not be a gambler.

Gambling exists since the start of human history. It exists thanks to the fact that human loves thrill and lose money. I'm agree with you, gambling has always caused more negative things that good things. It is something

When the human species began to exist, this is the point when Gambling started(in a way). Why? Say every decision they make, they would be gambling. They just don't know they are.

Well, gambling is not as bad as some people think. Yes It has a negative effect to gamblers if they can't control themselves when they play. But the problem is not only gambling but more on the gambler itself for lacking of control. Plus everyone has a choice and we are the one who drive ourselves, hence if you have no discipline and not limiting yourself then it's likely for you to experience a problem if you decided to gamble.

Anyway it's interesting to know the history of gambling and how things developed as time goes by.
