What happens is that the history of gambling is so deep that it would be impossible to cover everything in just a post, there are whole books that just list the games you can play with cards, so a whole series of books will probably be needed in order to cover the history of gambling and how it has shaped the lives of the people living at a particular era and civilization, so we must accept the limitations that comes from having to summarize the history of gambling in a single post.

The Chinese ancient gambling history might also take time to dig its history details. They did create games thats proprietary to Chinese only like the Mahjong. But its actually the same concept as the cards, which comes up the first we don't know. But we do know they were very creative since the Qin dynasty. They were always the first before the west, remember that gunpowder was first created by them.

Yes, that's absolutely true. Maybe being influenced by friends is such a big factor in that person that he will follow his friends and end up having a bad experience. That is why we have to be very careful in socializing and smart in choosing friends who will not get us into a difficult situation, even if they invite us to gamble.
