If I must be honest with you, i did tell you the problem doesn't lie in your not having enough activity, but in your username, your username gives this first impression that you are an Alt account to several other accounts which i believe its true, and we all know that members of this forum who have the good of this forum at heart frowns greatly at Alt accounting, and fortunately for users here, and unfortunately for you, you made yours visibly known as an Alt.

AnotherAlt can be another alternate coin, another alternate solution, whatsoever. I think name is not problem but I agree that AnotherAlt does not have enough activities and posts.

If I should give you the benefit of the doubt and assume this is the only account you have here on Bitcointalk, then i would like to ask you why you choose such a username? unfortunately, usernames cannot be edited or changed.    

To be honest, I have another account Named Crypt0S0ul that was created back in 2020. Unfortunately, I was unable to post with that account because that account contained a few evil points. A Few weeks ago LoyceV helped me to get whitelisted my older account. Quoted below:

I had created several accounts before paying the evil fees for this account. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the usernames. This was the last one and I was running out of ideas for usernames. So I choose AnotherAlt. The reason I paid the evil fees for this account: it was a small amount than other accounts which I also stated in LoyceV's Thread. Quoted below:

He had enough posts to rank up to become a full member, but he just needed to wait a while for his activity points to renew 14 points in 14 days to reach 120 points to rank up. Currently he has only 98 activity points and that should make him wait for the next 2 periods (14x2=28 days) to fulfill the required number of activity requirements, but I must say that he only needs to post at least 1 in 14 days each period.

★ If your post count eclipses your activity by 14 or more then you will only need to make one post in the new period to get the full 14 activity. For instance, your post count is 200 but your activity is only 28. To get another 14 activity you will only need to make one post in the new period and you will then have a total of 42 activity.

Ranks and activity:

Brand New: 0 posts
Newbie: 1-29 activity
Jr. Member: 30-59 activity
Member:   60-119 activity
Full Member: 120-239 activity
Sr. Member: 240-479 activity
Hero Member: 480 activity
Legendary: Somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity

I know how activity is counted but I did not check his post history.

I do it today and find that the user began to post since April 2022 so it is why the user does not meet enough activity to rank up to Full member. Posting actively and regularly enough. I made an incorrect point above. Sorry.

I must say that he only needs to post at least 1 in 14 days each period.

He did post regularly enough to not miss any 14 days activity count after get whitelisted by LoyceV.

if your have achieved the Merit(s) required for your next rank and lacks enough Activity, receiving more Merit(s) through to this program won't help you rank up immediately, but will in the long run though.

So that means I'm not eligible for this program?
I hope someone will also create a countdown thread for those who are less activity but already have enough merit to move up to the next rank. LOL, but btw this's a good idea.

This has been discussed before, it's on the first page, I said this is all for fun, there is actually no limit because even if someone was to merit you based on what you have here, it is not necessary that all the merit you need to advance to your next rank must come from such person, and beside, this thread is not a "help newbie to rank up" kind of thread like that which Ratimov have, this is plainly for fun, just counting down to your next rank.

@Ratimov Didn't accept new applications for the last four months. There was a lot of Drama with Ratimov. He has been accused of being a Merit whore by BitcoinGirl.club. Other Merit sources also criticized him countless times for sending merits to newbies. He is one of the Merit sources who sent most merits to banned users. So, I guess he is a bit depressed. He didn't close the thread yet. But, I guess he is not going to accept new applications. Better not to suggest his thread anymore.


I have 12 merits left to reach my next rank. Once I sum up some of my good posts (in my opinion) and posted on a thread named Report Unmerited good post. I don't think any merit source saw that post. Or maybe those posts don't deserve merits. I noticed DdmrDdmr Mentioned me on his thread. Still, I didn't get caught in merit sources' eyes. Maybe because I don't have enough activity.

I also noticed that there have been some threads already created by members related to ranking up but this sounds abit different from them, if we are to also consider some of those threads i believe not all of them have been active just as mentioned by AnotherAlt, I know Ratimov to be one of the user i respected so much and i believe  in his delivery capacity but there are more reasons that must have led to the pause on his thread, but either of it all i don't think this thread as well will counter the effectiveness of the existing ones but instead compliment each other as long as the standard to merit a post is maintained to be "quality".

On my local board there is also a thread about helping to rank up from Newbie to Legendary, but it's true that it's a slightly different thread than most. I believe the purpose of both helps, but only in different ways. In my opinion, whether this thread is effective or not depends on who wants to help. If there are many merit sources and other users willing to review and help then I'm sure this thread will be useful for those who need rank.

As I said, this is a problem that will actually make it harder for you to distribute more merit on participant applications. But that's okay, because you can still expect generosity from a merit source or users like me to contribute to this thread.

Nice one but you should try to specify the number of merits needed to apply to move to another level. Helping the low-rank members is a good initiative to go by with. I wouldn't mind if it happens like magic for me to move to another level as a full member.

The core motive in this forum is for us to help one another to grow in knowledge in crypto and every other thing would fall into place as a bonus mark for our contributions to the growth of the forum

Not too close but not too far away either, especially if you take into account that I rejoined the forum in January of 2021and have acquired more than 200 merit within a year and a half.
