I think name is not problem but I agree that AnotherAlt does not have enough activities and posts.

He had enough posts to rank up to become a full member, but he just needed to wait a while for his activity points to renew 14 points in 14 days to reach 120 points to rank up. Currently he has only 98 activity points and that should make him wait for the next 2 periods (14x2=28 days) to fulfill the required number of activity requirements, but

I know how activity is counted but I did not check his post history.

Does anybody know when is the next activity period? According to the spreadsheet mentioned in this Locked Thread, The Recent Activity distribution date was

But, I didn't get activity on this date. I didn't notice the last activity distribution. I don't know where should I ask about this. But, Seems like the spreadsheet is not correct anymore.

In my thread, I used the concept you suggested for setting application limits because I thought that helping those users who are one step away from the coveted rank would have a much greater effect, because the final result of the application would be immediately visible.

That's because you are the merit source and it's easier for you to get those users to the rank they want in no time. Even though the OP is not a merit source, he only send merit when he has sMerit he got from other users in his post. Very different with you because in the end the rank of users who submit applications is not only in the hands of the OP but also at others who want to help including the merit source.
