Its late here and im just in front of the computer but after seeing the drought of goals in todays games i dont even want to open the leaderboard to see how the round is going in our competition.

How it can be possible, Liverpool against Real Madrid only one goal? return the tickets money to the fans, refund them.

I didnt expect to see Liverpool coming back with a win against Real Madrid in Anfield, but I still dont trust them.
This was a wake up call for Real, but they still have room for mistakes in CL group phase.
I am impressed with Bayern again, they wonagainst PSG and they have one less player for whole second half.

Liverpool really made a comeback to be able to beat Real Madrid at home, it was a great gift because they lost streak and now the confidence was restored by Arne Slot.

Marquinhos was too reckless ... he made a blunder finally became a goal for Luis Diaz it was too easy for Bayern Munich to win.
Hakimi was injured, Dembele looked disappointed.

Liverpool certainly is a team that has managed to scale the league thus far, they might endure a lot more even but, when you look at the likes of PSG, Bayern, Barcelona and Real Madrid with how they are coming out this season, Liverpool with this form isn’t going nowhere.

This is exactly my point, although the league form doesn't matter but for some teams we need to look at how they're performing overall before routing for them for the title. Chelsea is known as a cup club right from time. They mightn't be doing well in the league but when it comes to winning a title (cup) they'll always find a way to do that so we can't use them as an example. Liverpool aren't doing well compared to other top clubs that want a taste at the title. Can this Liverpool defeat Real Madrid, PSG or Barcelona. They can't even defeat Chelsea the last time they meant so I don't think they'll be going any far.

For me, Liverpool is definitely not a contender for the UCL, It is also agreeable that chelsea also knows how to find their way around cup competition but with their current form i rarely see both of them going past RO16 or at Max Quarter finals. Unless of course they face lesser opponents by grace. But teams like PSG, Bayern, Arsenal are clear favorites. even city will push harder than they are rated this season.

I’m going to disagree with you, Liverpool is obviously a contender for the Champions League, because all the big teams who are playing in the Champions League all have a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages and they also have a chance to win the Champions League, but I must tell you it’s hard and difficult to predict a Champions League winner from the group stages.

It’s obvious that Liverpool have been in a horrible form recently, but in football form is temporary and class is permanent, Liverpool is a team that has class and quality, if they were not in a good form in recent past games, then their class is going to get them back on track, and that is what we have seen in the game against Aston Villa and Real Madrid.

I have never for once doubted this Liverpool team, because all the games they have lost, they have been the better team in terms of performance and creating goal chances, when I should be worried about Liverpool is when they aren’t creating chances, there forms is back, it will be a blockbuster game against Manchester this weekend, let’s see what both teams have to present to us football Lovers.

So much for the pathetic reigning Champions here as I bet a lot of money on them yesterday and lose it all, they were playing at home, and had all second half playing with one player more yet still could not at least make it a draw. Another pathetic result is Juventus also playing at home and not being able to beat Sporting clearly a team from a weaker league compared to the Serie A. Yesterday the only good results were those of the favorites as they all won, Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Tottenham and honestly I never expected that surprise results will not happen at least in one of such game. Let's hope for better results tonight.

I agree with @darxiaomi how can Liverpool have > 10 shots on goal and only score 1 goal, and from setpiece too lol I bet everything on over goals and now I have to live with a penalty unless Barca can save me.

Kinda disappointing night tbh even though PSG lost and Real lost, just the lack of drama in supposedly the best games of the season. Just happy I got points I guess

Anyway I notice that there is always like an hour or something countdown after the first game start before I can check on everyone's answer. I wonder why do you guys choose an hour to reveal the answers? do you guys manually check if anyone failed to submit or something?

I definitely need to do this more often. Not going to win anything playing chicken!

Thought we were brilliant tonight, we might just be back. Courtois was Real’s best player and that says something about how the game went. We could have won more comfortably if he wasn’t in such great form.

The fight, aggression and the pressing off the ball was superb. The real LFC showed themselves today. Hope for more of the same against Man City at the weekend.

I was talking about both teams having so powerfull offensive players didnt score so much. And about the shots i saw the highlights yesterday and damn, Courtuois is a beast, some of the saves he mades were fantastic, Real Madrid stay in game only for him. One was beautifull in the first half after a shoot from Sbozalai.

Let see if today we have a few more goals in the games.

I understand your frustration on PSG. But such things happens in group stage. Remember how last season was going for them when they got into CL playoffs in last round only. Yeah, Juventus result is disappointing, glad that I didn't had bets on this game. But Napoli burned my bet. A bit surprised that Monaco managed to win against Bodo/Glimt.
Not many great games today. Like in early slot - Pafos - Villarreal or Qarabag - Chelsea, it sounds more like Europa league.

I forgot what the odds for 0-0 but if I remember correctly X10 something.. end of the first half, but the score is currently 0-0. Good thing Charles De Ketelaere missed that penalty or I else would’ve already lost my 0-0 pick. Same with the Benfica vs Leverkusen game it’s also 0-0 at halftime. I’m hoping both games end 0-0; if that happens I think I’ll get around 60+ points from those 6 stakes.

Horrible miss on so many items, I needed the extra saved stake as it turns out, to save myself from a penalty. But not getting anywhere close to the top. Worse is seeing people getting penalties but still sitting so high up there!

Crazy results in Champions League today!
Villareal losing from Paphos, Chelsea not defeating Qarabag, and Barcelona draw are biggest surprise outcomes for me.
I didnt saw many people using this as a chance for earning a lot of points, but I saw some movements in leaderboard.
136.55 pts and 6th place is not bad for me, but I cant stand that cryptofrka Mafia is again higher placed than me with his cheating tactics, so buwaytress you need to ban him now

I've already updated the journey details page. I believe it's now more useful and interesting for everyone. I still need to work a little more on the user comparison section.

It's possible to find some errors (I hope not), but @buwaytress will point it out to me if something is wrong.

Ajax isn’t what it was, even in the eredivisie, I’m not surprised they lost to Galatasaray by 3 goals to 0 nothing even when playing at home.

Napoli was one game I wasn’t expecting to end goalless, an under maybe but certainly not goalless.

Grabbed some points this GW, not above average but, well enough to push me a little bit up the table. Barcelona did some dirty job in their Club Brugge fixture, overall poor performance.

Currently, I'm stuck at no. 25th, not a good look at all, the number of points I was able to gather this round looks better on an average, but it was not enough to propel me further beyond the bottom half of the pool.

And betslips are not even something I want to make mention of for this horrendous week.

Wow what a shit week for everyone. Barca couldn't save me and I got a penalty smh I knew it was too much to ask for them to help me again and again but this is terrible. I guess the only good thing is nobody got 40 points so it wasn't a terrible round by that standards but I have to live with penalties.

BTW guys I love the new leaderboard THIS is how it should be. Very long but now we can all see our answers easily and compare everyone else

In fact I wish Brugge goal was not cancelled then I would have points and no penalty.

I got a penalty for the third time in 4 match days I assume as I saw penalty -15 points and it was one of the worse weeks for me, never I have done so badly in a pool. Anyway yesterday I guess no one expected Villareal to lose, Chelsea to equalize and also the biggest surprise of Barcelona equalizing while only VAR saved them as the game could as well finish in a 4-3 result against them. This is becoming interesting and I see now it penalizes heavily people who are consistent in not being able to save themselves from penalties as it is an accumulative punishment. I guess we have another or two match days before going to winter break in here and then back to action in February.

We’re half way through the group/league stage now. Liverpool now in a good position in 8th, as we know the top 8 go straight to the last 16 without requiring a 2 legged playoff to get there. It’s a big advantage to avoid tgat 2 legged playoff to avoid fixture build up.



A lot will change but I think we will finish in the top 8. PSV at Anfield next followed by a trip to Inter, a trip to Marseille and finishing with Qarabag at Anfield.
