I have a feeling we walk over Atletico. I've had it since I saw the draw - they are not the same team they were a few years ago.
We owe them a hammering - they are bound to get one. We deserved to beat them both in that EL semifinal when they went through on that Forlan ET goal on away goals rule and in 19/20 CL knockouts.

Honestly can't wait for the CL to start.

As I understand, picks of all games should be left before the deadline, no matter game played on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday? And tomorrow when first game will kick off I won't be able to change picks for Wednesday's or Thursday's games? If yes, it's little inconvenience comparing with Superbru, but I'm ok with it. I just will have to change my habbits a bit.

Time flies quickly and a new season will soon begin in a few hours, making the days more exciting with more matches, especially UCL because several big teams will meet from first MD.
I submitted my answer, quite a confusing start with the new format because I am far from good at guessing scores, but all is well.

I may be wrong but everything looks very nice and balanced. I have a good feeling (probably until the first real results haha) or it's just joy that a good tournament is with us again.
I hope this season all teams will show an adequate attitude to the games in the group stage, what confuses me is that in some pairs the advantage in strength will be such that 5 goals by Haaland against Moldova will seem like a normal thing.

Compared to past years, I actually received a really high number of messages about people who won't rejoin this season because of the sheer volume of pools already started. Which I feel is a big shame, as UCL has to be the cream of club competition. It is what it is. And we deal with it.

Can’t believe we start the CL journey again tomorrow. Not looking forward to another haram ball team playing Liverpool again.

Just like before, yes. You have to enter all the picks for the Matchday. Once the deadline is reached, submissions are closed for the Matchday In fact, if you tried to submit without filling in all the picks, or have leftover stakes that won't carry over, you'll get an error notification to ask you to fix that.

I remember I used to wait for CL games, would get shivers just hearing the anthem. I would do anything to not miss a minute of those games. These days there is so much football it just doesn't have the gravitas it had before.

I like new CL format though, gives us world class games from round 1 but there is no getting that old feeling back.

I dont buy the argument about we have so many pools so i dont join this one, i mean this is one of the principals and plus is one with the biggest rewards, and if you ask me again the fees on all the other pools decreased so you cn have some margin, i know maybe is not for the money is for the time, but come on play.

Oh I go and pick PSV as an easy bet to win against Royale Union and choose all my 6 points stake on them, 3 in over 4.5 goals which I missed for one and 3 on PSV and BTTS yes, again totally in vain by the first surprise result of this Champions League season, when you start with the right foot as they say  . Let's hope the final score results help me a bit in here, anyway even if I am last I am very glad that the new season underway and again I got sponsorship from @slaman29 (I will pay you more as promised). I see the live update feature is going well so far as I don't see any screwing so far from you guys  . It is to soon to be thinking for the end of the pool while the season has just gotten underway. Yeah I checked the leaderboard and I see that who predicted the right score for Athletic Bilbao vs Arsenal (0-2) only got 3 points that I think it should be 4 points.
And also those who predict 0-3 Arsenal also got 3 points that I think should be only 2 poinst for close score. Just correct me if I'm wrong if my obsersvation is wrong.

Anyway what an upset for PSV Eindhoven vs Union Saint-Gilloise (1-3). No one predicted in this pool to Union Saint-Gilloise to win.

Come Friday I have to fill out Bundes, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Premier League, Cross League goal madness and Fantasy - which is way too much then comes Tuesday and I have to send BSFL answers and fill this one and Europa League one. Than there is also F1 and NFL. You can't say that isn't too much and I am complaining while I am responsible for half of them.

That is 12 pools I am currently playing. And I turned down UCL fantasy and Cricket.

I was literally saying this exact same thing to someone yesterday, it's become wholesome, filling just random answers here and there is zero fun from it now, not going to lie, I'm fine when it's a different sport, which is why I joined NFL, because I do watch that a bit too, but I really can't keep up all these football games, and that's almost 100 forms / scores to be entered every freaking week, not to speak of weeks when we have midweek schedule as well.

I feel bad for Trent Arnold Alexander already 3 minutes into the game he looks to have an hamstring issue, I just hope he doesn't end up being the Eden Hazard esque scenario for him, he's not live up to half the expectation that's expected of him and now he's going to be out for a couple weeks at the very least.
