They are a team that's fun to watch, but tactically Inter played a lot better. They will drop deep and find spaces behind them in the second leg as well.

They didnt win in last five matches in all competitions, so are you ready and willing to put your money on that prediction?  
I dont think Inter can repeat same performance from first match and I am not sure if they can handle full force of Barcelona unleashed.
Maybe they just play total defense strategy to annoy Barca players and ruin their flow.

I have a feeling, despite being Barca supporter that this is a very real possibility. Inter are having their strikers back fit, and they might be losing badly in recent times but overall they were targetting this cup, since Napoli is hard to catch (with 3 easy games left).

They will do their best to frustrate as usual and Barca have to be as special as first leg. Its a lot to ask, but oc I hope it happens.

I'm one of the rare people that's giving the advantage to Inter, yes, they are a team with much worse players on paper but also a team way more capable of grinding it out for an ugly win.

In the other one PSG showed more, since their 2 games against LFC I felt they are taking the trophy. Would be a big slap in the face to both Neymar and Mbappe.

I am with you on this one for Inter, but I am an outspoken barca hater so take that however you want, lol.

I do think (hope?) Arsenal turns it around though, an Arsenal - Inter final would be interesting and feels like a true 50/50.

I think PSG wouldn't have reached here if Mbappe and Neymar were in the squad . Arsenal was quite favourite to qualify for the final as they had beaten Real Madrid in both home and away matches. But now the situation is opposite. The first leg of both matches was competitive. Now it is difficult to predict which teams will qualify for the final. I'm expecting Arsenal or PSG to win the trophy in this season.

First of all, it's naive  Real is a structure that draws conclusions quite quickly, Ancelotti (presumably) has become a problem and will not be there next season. The squad will be rebuilt again and I think the second attempt will be successful.
As for Mbappe and Neymar at PSG, they were successful until a pensioner-pedestrian came there... now he's gone and PSG has one foot in the Champions League final again  instead of being eliminated at 1/8. I see some pattern here

I submitted my picks despite seeing that in both pools the 5th place is impossible to achieve and so most of us play just for fun here. This shows that the mechanics and prize distribution for next year pool should be distributed a bit better  . As for the game of tonight I am expecting Inter to pass through and I think it will be the best game in Champions we can watch this year. PSG vs Arsenal tomorrow is not something I am looking forward to watch as a game, not because it is a bad game but because the game of tonight will make it look bad compared to this one.

One out of the two predictions you made have been confirmed. I don't know why, but I felt this unusual discomfort for a semi-final match; inter Milan has a greater determination to win and that was outrightly proven by their abilities to equalize every single goal Barca scored, after the 2 goals down for against them already.

Let's see what happens tomorrow. PSG is currently on fire, but arsenal isn't a cheap deal either.

My team lost, so when I watched the replay, it was already known so I ended up just watching halfhearted. In the end, cannot say anything Inter deserved to win, never say die. They were much much sharper in attack and kept trying the offside trap and worked, in the end, we gave up too much but hope we still get to another final after 10 years. Maybe next season.

Now don't get me wrong but Inter players will suddenly be in Ballon Dor. PSG will have half of top 5. Unfair to players like Salah and Raphinha?

Both games have been fantastic and fair play to Inter for being able to calm the game down in the extra time.

I favored Inter since the draw, said it many times. Barcelona is really exciting to watch, but they conceded 7 goals from 10 shots on target in 2 games.
They lack the tactical segment to play in such games, and it's Inter's biggest advantage.

If they will be healthy, they can trouble PSG as well (I'm sure they will go through tonight) - but if they will still play on 2 fronts and go into that game tired it will be one of the more one-sided finals in recent time.

If the Ballon D'or was awarded based on individual performance this season, no one comes close to Salah (EPL champion, top scorer, MVP), but it's been about the CL for the past few years; when Liverpool was knocked out, Raphinha became the candidate; now that Barcelona is out, Dembele is the candidate, and possibly Mbappe if Real Madrid wins the WCC, which is a bigger tournament than the CL.

Mixed feelings about yesterday. If before season someone would offered that we will reach semifinal, I would have taken it without any doubts. But now it hurts when we were few minutes away from the final, Inter looked dead in the end of 2nd half. That goal which send them to extra time looked them extra energy.
We concede way too much, it's impossible to make such big remontadas always. And we don't have long bench, yesterday's substitutions didn't worked.

Naive is precisely how you would describe my bets. Ignoring all the nuance and opting only for blind faith of numbers. But I hope always for some positive schadenfreude in the star-studded teams so can only hope for this outcome next season. Alonso for Real?
