I secured my points but still wasted a little bit on City lol. Shoulda just followed @notblox1 and gone all in on Real.

More participants are relying on Real Madrid to spend their points. 8 of us has spent all the points on Real Madrid in this week, and they haven't made us disappointed . I was tempted to spend my points on Real Sociedad for a higher odds against PSG. But I avoided the temptation by spending them on RMA. I won't be surprised if PSG lose the match despite being favourite.

Back in Pot A (Superbru), I actually got 2.5 points and STILL fell by 2 positions. That's what happens when favourites win, you drop by the roadside because everyone else get's exact scores in 1 game and are ahead of you.

Hope Lazio does something special tonight and give us something to look forward too in Munich. Sociedad too but highly doubt that.

Anyway, I think based on the History of Champions League football, a team that is due to play its game in CL usually loses its domestic league fixture because these teams usually try to rest players for the big battle to come,and with Bayern losing their most recent match against Bayer Leverkusen in the farmers league.. today's game should be a walk in the park against Lazio #trainning_exercise !

Easy 2.1; I'm aiming for at least 30 points to have a shot getting into TOP10, and going all-in on Real Madrid would only bring me 21 points, so I split it instead. 5 on Real Madrid and 5 on Real Sociedal will result in a total of 35.6 points. I've seen both PSG and Real Sociedal this season, and they're both same strength, and the valuable odd of 5.5 on Real Sociedal seemed too good to be true, so I took it without hesitation. If this goes bust, my UCL pool B season is finished.

Yep, bummer that Real won, I figured many will go with it.
Leipzig deserved more from the game, so my gut feeling was right that they would struggle, but top teams do just that - grind for a result even when things go against them.

Now my Inter pick doesn't look that great, even if they do win, I'll still lose points compared to those that went with Real.

Quite a generous odds for Real to win today, don't you think? It is clear that Real is not obliged to win today, and Leipzig is not as weak as Copenhagen, but 2.27 looks very good considering that Real are in a great mood after the last round of La Liga (although problems are defense remained).

Carvajal and Tchoumeni was looking like they were CB by born lol. I didnt expect such good defense from Real Madrid against Girona who were flying this season. Well, there were no huge attack though. I lost a bet (placed both team to score as Girona was scoring in every match).
Will miss Bellingham today so, it will be a tough one for Madrid today. I won't take risk although the odd seems lucrative.

Yes, I am also surprised at the transformation of these players into new roles haha (or is it Ancelotti's doing, i mean it's his merit, who knows). In the end, the game turned out to be really equal, and Real could have played a draw (unlikely to lose since I assume that they could have accelerated if necessary). But still, if we assume that Real’s victory was 50/50, then 2.27 is a value bet.
As for the bet on BTTS, Girona also lost the first game dry

Well they are not but compared to Lazio, I'd say they are still far superior so this would be a total upset if Lazio ended up getting a draw tonight but 1st half potentially could be a draw though. I got my parlay slip on both of these favourites to win so yeah Im expecting them to win and also over 4 goals would be great to get a point on BSFL as well

I wish I played all my stakes on Real Madrid.    I thought they would get a draw in their away match this week and I preferred Arsenal instead. Because Arsenal have been playing very good on the recent weeks I'm still thinking that they will manage to win. I hope I don't go wrong about them because I really want to maintain my presence in the 2nd position.

I think Pot A winner wont be known until last round, it is very interesting competition and things can change easy.

There is lot of time left until the end of the match and I expect Bayern to push harder and score later, but now they have red card.

I was thinking of doing something similar but after following La Liga this whole season I saw that clubs from Spain are not very reliable.

It was hard foul, but giving red card and penalty is double punishment, what is a bit too much IMO. I really counted on Bayern, as said above, they're not great, but same can be said about Lazio. Bayern wasted lot of chances, but it's not disaster, they still have great chance to go through.
PSG - Real Sociedad, 2:0 is a bit too much, Sociedad played solid match, but PSG simply have players like Mbappe who can decide game alone. Sociedad have to to something with their attack, they made 0 shots on target today and it's already 5th game in a row when they failed to score goal, what is crazy.

Bayern are struggling at the moment, another loss tonight, Tuchel is in trouble. I just had a feeling they’d flop tonight. I staked some on Lazio to win in this pool.

Having said that, I think Bayern will do enough at home in the 2nd leg to get to the 1/4 final.

Oddly enough, but suddenly Tuchel is already where Nagelsmann is - in the Bundesliga the chances are worse than those of the main competitor, plus there is the possibility of being eliminated from the Champions League in the 1/8. If this happens, he could be fired at any time, but even if Bayern wins back in the return game, he will most likely still be fired in the summer.

Huge congrats for having balls as it takes a lot of balls to go against Bayern Munchen with a team not performing well in their domestic league yet yesterday they won and they did not let Bayern Munchen shoot a single shot in target.

I don't complain myself though as I got 10 out of 10 to Paris yesterday so I am happy with 16.5 points from this week.I am going with consistency rather than for surprises.

You may take a man out of your wretched Spurs club, but Spurs cannot be taken out of the man. Man has already lost one major trophy, and the League and CL are becoming out of reach. Either way, Coleman and H.Kane's records will be broken; Kane has never won a major trophy in his career, and Coleman has never gone a season without a trophy. Yes, I also thought that the first game would be 50/50 - either a draw or a minimal victory for Bayern, but since a draw is always the most unlikely result, I still chose a victory for Bayern. Who could have imagined that Lazio would be able to completely shut down the opponent’s attack and score their own goal.
In fact, this is a normal result (not a 3-0 defeat when it’s difficult to win back) and keeping in mind that Bayern should score at least one goal in two games (otherwise why are they in this tournament) now for me the score in this pair is 1-1. Which leaves chances for both teams.
