What the hell, the odds on a City win in the final are currently at around 1.40.

Although I do believe that City will destroy them, maybe some good value bets will be possible on Inter (a draw at half time comes to mind @2.50).

Was there ever a final with such low odds on the favorite team before?

I don't remember a final in the Champions League with such low odds from the years I am seeing it,usually from 2003 I have seen every single of them as before I have not gambled and didn't care much about sports in general.However in these 20 years I don't remember having such a low odd while we have had 1.65 sometime or 1.75 and I think this is somewhat normal but 1.40 in a Champions League final sounds funny  .

By the way how will Superbru calculate the points,will it be only regular time or even extra time will be added just like it was in the World Cup and we need this info before the final takes place?

Not in my memory either, actually! I know Liverpool were also significant underdogs in their Istanbul edition but I can't recall odds at the time.

BTW Fairlay has City even below 1.3... but no market yet for Inter. Now I feel sort of cheated because I took a pre-semi outright on Inter only just over @7/1... to be fair, it still accounts for any outcome (including PKs) so I'm happy with that bet.

I think that the yellow cap has its "taste" when it is for a single player, in this case at final Game surely hitting a single player will be very difficult, but if that happens in itself it is a good incentive, although the FB don't be a part of achieving it.

If City is the favorite and big favorite, and they win, then yes we will probably have loads of yellow caps

If a result happens that is totally unexpected (6-3 for example!) then it will be even worse, because that means everyone will get correct result for 1 point lol.

The odds are Man City 1.44 vs Inter Milan 7.71, the odds are pretty good at the moment . Manchester city at 1.44 is decent odd but Inter will not make it easy for them

Judging by the odds, you are talking about quotes for regular time, where there is still a possibility of a draw. If these were quotes for the outcome of the confrontation, then in such a pair of 1.44 - 7.71 it would be easy to make a guaranteed profitable bet.
By the way, where do you watch quotes? The markets are still inaccessible to me.

It's already on several of the Asian bookmakers I use frequently, as well as some of the local ones I use back home; I expected the markets to be open to everyone by now so that everyone could place an early bet.  I don't see this game going into extra time, and BTW, when was the last time we saw a CL final go into PK shootouts after the 2012 CL final? As I understand it, Ajax could not rise higher, but if AZ Alkmaar were more successful and PSV were less principled, would AZ Alkmaar be in the Europa League instead of Ajax? I didn't watch the game because I was at work and I'm very happy with it - I hate it when the fate of the game (especially the final) is decided in a penalty shoot-out and if I'm rooting for some team (it was Roma), then regardless of the outcome, it's hard for me to sleep afterwards. But now I don't have to worry about the results of the last round in La Liga and Serie A - the defeat of Roma ruined my multibet - better this waythan if it was ruined by some of the last "reliable" results.

Honestly my expectation is to see a comfortable Manchester City victory. Manchester City deserved to be in the finale from the beginning to the end. That performance against Real Madrid in the second leg was just amazing.    They got a win like that despite Haaland's not having any contribution with a goal. But I don't think Haaland would be that much ineffective this time in the finale.

I'm expecting Haaland to have a nice contribution with at least one goal. Inter defenders will have a really big responsibility in this match. Inzaghi needs to think about every defending style to make their opponent have some difficulties. But if Manchester City score an early goal I don't think Inter can do much after that.

City is playing a great season and you can't possibly cover or their attackers. You need to double up on haaland and that leaves more space for wingers and midfielders. Gundogan is the one that used it best in last couple of matches.

Same here. For Inter to win this, quite a few things need to go massively wrong for Man City. Like you've said an early red card, Haaland having a really bad day, penalty for Inter or multiple things from that list.
And meanwhile, Inter needs to have luck like being efficient or getting 50/50 calls from the referee because I can't imagine how Man City will allow Inter many big chances in a normal game. Even if Inter will get big chances, Man City will most likely get more big chances.

But even then, Man City has been strong even when Haaland didn't score, like recent goals from Gundogan. And in ther national leagues as well, Man City has shown a great performance (okay, Arsenal contributed to that impression  ), while Inter's performance in Serie A has been very mixed...

I hope Lautaro Martinez can steal the trophy from Guardiola's hands by managing to show an extra performance in the final match. As the final match is in my city, Istanbul I tried very much to buy a ticket but unfortunately I couldn't.
