Still as pathetic in the CL as they always have been. Squad full of choke artists, having said that I think they will probably do enough to get to the 1/4 final. They are not going to win it though, they do not have a squad that knows how to win big trophies.

I think Arsenal will show much different face against Porto on Emirates Stadium, but I just checked early odds and they are incredibly low.
From all Champions League teams left I am only impressed with Real Madrid, it is going to take a miracle for them to not win the title.
I am expecting some big surprises in next round, chance for someone to get on top in Pot B, for example me

Definitely several improvements are possible, especially to include suggestions to widen the markets. There are even possible complexities to add such as elements of player management, but I think I will probably just tweak because I won't have the time to do it. Personally, I think it requires compensated time to really give any kind of competition the management it deserves -- Superbru makes it possible to autopilot so I feel it will always be part of UCL for the foreseeable future.

Seeing similar, improved formats in other competitions would be great, so I will mention here: I welcome anyone to take the format and do better (even if for another competition). This includes any spreadsheets, etc. joker_josue did the main work on spreadsheet but I own rights, and happy to distribute for free. Just ask!

just to note that also think that format is good
it is on me that I am close to bottom, due to bad picks overall, but it is same case with Superbru pool as well, so certainly not connected to format

not many rounds to go, will be interesting to see what will Arsenal do in re-match, all other teams are as expected, PSV/Dortmund is a question, and Bayern have to fly up, seems that most other picks are already resolved, don't expect much surprises there

Add me to the list of people who enjoy Pot B format. I will most likely end up not winning anything but this was a much better pool than Pot A where you can see it's just not exciting anymore. I feel however you must change the end after Last 16, With few games left, it's very hard to see the leaderboard changing, anything can happen of course but near the end, favorites are usually the ones winning.

This shows the lack of commitment from Arsenal,they have totally underestimated this game as I see no real other explanation to this lost game.They will be getting more serious on the return leg I am sure of it yet many people lost points in the Pot A pool including me.I am happy though that I got an exact score from Barcelona game and despite being high in the standings I don't get my hopes up as even last season I was like that and ended 1 position behind the last prize spot.

Declan Rice says they need to show more maturity and although I think it's a needless comment, I agree, and that's always the case with teams in Champions League. You need experience and maturity. You can't just run into it trying to score and entertain all the time. Ask Ajax about it. Ask Tottenham about it. Maybe you get far but the mature teams who know all about patience will always win. Shh I mean Real Madrid lol

I think most people didnt fully understand how this new competition will work, and there are negative and positive sides like we see so far.
One good pick on underdog team and you can win more points than someone who played safe in every round.  
Winning combination here is that we have two pots with totally different systems

Breaking ice is always hard. I spoke with Trofo about something like this before and he told me that it has kinda been tried before, but that there wasn't much interest so I didn't push.
We had the same for BSFL - if we didn't test it during the World Cup, no way we'd get people to join.

You secured a huge prize pool and made it easy to submit/check via forms and sheets, so these were 2 big drivers for this to work - kudos to you for both.

I'm fairly excited about one new format we're making for Euros, and we have an idea about a multi-sport format like yours. I think there will be a lot more fun and interactive stuff on the forum soon enough.

Just click on whatever subsection that you wish to bet on, there will be a pop up window that will notify you that you got a free bet. You can choose not to activate it if you want to keep it but even if you choose to use it, I believe there are 7 days expiration date so take your time on that. Best of luck with your free bet

Only reason we asked all that info at sign up. Who would chase 40 plus address for payment. This way I post a spreadsheet and tag everyone if they want it changed.

I have a better recommendation. I hope it will be taken into consideration. If you write "The prizes of people who don't send their address in time next season will be donated to cls63", people would send their addresses weeks before the tournament ends.

That's the observation with pools like Champions League. When there can be month or two break in between rounds, people forget rules some forget picks. Some hopefully forget to pick up prizes then we can share it here among active participants hehe

Remember that it's hard to get people to really 'participate' deeply anyway so don't mind that some just pay the fee and make picks and that's it, and so they won't read if you ask for things. Put all of that into OP and collect everything from Day 1 like Trofo said.

I'm going all in berserk with the point chasing for this round, I've tried playing itself, but it was as though the safer I try to go the unluckier I get,  If were to count points that have got taken away from me from a reasonable leading position in matches, it will be nothing  short of 50-70 points. So, I might as well just go all out, maybe I could get some Hhampuz-esque luck for this round.

I'm curious to see how the top of the Pool B will distribute their picks. For me, there's only 2 ways to go - the careful route or the optimal one. I'm picking the latter.
It will also be interesting to track Hhampuz - will he go fully on the defensive and pick City to win? Such picks until the end would almost guarantee him the title.

Porto and Lazio's odds are looking pretty decent for YOLO hunters but Im not sure if I will even take that because its just going to be dumb if both Bayern Munich and Arsenal lose again which seems pretty unreal for me. Anyway PSG to win at 2.65 seems to be looking pretty decent bet if you are already ITM spot and looking to keep a decent lead on your points

I dont like what Superbru is doing with seven days long last few rounds, it should be split in half for each week.

Prize fund is amazing but it would be even better if we exchanged stable coins for Bitcoin few months ago
