Not bad Arsenal. Didn't win the way I wanted, but Arteta's turned this squad around. Not quite unbottlers yet, but first appearance in QF 14 years, not bad. Porto didn't do too badly, either. Pepe became the first player over 40 to play (I don't know if I recall correctly but I think Maldini vs Liverpool was 39 when we played our last pre-Klopp final!), and they took the tie to penalties (hasn't happened in 8 years, what?).

It was good that Arsenal won yesterday night but they risked it big by going in additional time as you cannot really predict what will happen in there,it is more a game of nerves and tension rather than football.

In today game there is a very interesting one which is Atletico vs Inter.Inter will try to hold on the win they got in Milan while Atletico has no other way except going all out and as such I think a draw is the most likely result here.

I dont think this will be the series of case on Inter Milan defending all those goal attempts from Atletico Madrid though. statistically from their own local league, Inter Milan is far better in statistics with so far 70 goals and 13 conceded while Atletico Madrid 54 goals with 31 goals conceded. Well bookies are favouring Inter Milan abit but yeah this could either go both ways

Penalties in Champions league is so rare, but when I read that yesterday's shootout was first from 2015/16 season and first since 2012 where Atletico didn't played. It's more than 100 games without shootout, even after away goal rule was removed. Crazy.
Maybe we will see another shootout, wouldn't be against it. We will have extra 30 minutes in Atletico - Inter game and so far it was great to watch. But Damn, how Riquelme missed that chance!?
PSV started game like scared kids and it looked that Borussia will destroy them. Later PSV woke up, but early goal let Dortmund to advance. Champions league isn't Eredivisie where PSVcan go whole season undefeated.

Ummm...What? This is news to me, I had no idea about this method of calculation. Now I would like to clarify: if Atlético had lost in the penalty shootout, would the 2-1 prediction be considered correct?
In general, I think that this is an illogical mechanic since the extra time applies to two games and not just this one.
By the way, I also chose Atlético to win 2-1 and congratulate everyone on this feeling when you were able to go against the bookmaker and win

If Inter had finished 1-1 yesterday I would be in front of the rest too but I lost my 3rd position and what a shameful performance from Inter yesterday night,they had a lot of chances against one of the worse defenses in the Champions and they barely managed to score a single goal.I think it would have been more different if Atletico would have scored first,this would have triggered another Inter type of play yesterday but they thought that when they scored they had everything under control yet they lost it dramatically.

In second pool Real was horrible and let me down for the first time,I think I would not get any prize there too although I have not checked at what place I am but I assume I have lost quite some positions with 0 points scored there  .

Just in case, i was refering to the fact that when we put 2-1 we had to wait until the game reached the penalties to collect the exact score, because Superbru counts the Extratime, and yes im with you in what you say, it doesnt make so much sense counting the ET if is a 180 minute game.

Or are we all missunderstanding the rules and Extra Time doesnt count in UCL for superbru?

I like to watch games with so much actions and goals and that's exactly what the Europa league has given me this season. I don't care about the club names, just want to see goals and attacking football.

Sparta Prague boss said Liverpool should be in the Champions League. He's right, of course, this team is ultra offensive but last season, we didn't deserve it, so I wonder if a future format sees Champions League at the end of a regular season (I know it won't happen). Funny but many teams don't deserve to be here. Napoli one of them, so I'm glad they're out.

That said, the QFs finally look like royalty. City-Real, Barca-PSG, so I hope they don't disappoint. Europa League QFs don't look half bad too...

I understand that the closer to the final the set of teams becomes less and less diverse, but Real vs City for the third time in a row... 
Surprisingly, the two weakest teams will play each other - Atlético against Dortmund, which means that someone will be lucky again in the semi-finals. Although the winner of the PSG-Barcelona pair doesn't look particularly strong either.

I think it's the most ballanced 1/4 final draw in recent years. Basically there is no weak teams remaining and  we don't have pairs with big favorite playing with underdog. Yeah, City - Real is probably final worthy pair and one of them will be eliminated, while we will have Atletico or Borussia in semifinal.

It looks that we watched different games. I kinda agree about Arsenal - Porto, but Atletico - Inter was great game to watch, none of teams didn't waited for penalties and wanted to win in regular time.
