Bayer Munich will be in the Champions League again next season, and they will very likely still get to the quarterfinals, so Harry Kane will have another chance again, and they may be lucky.

Yes, it's not about individual purchases, but about the system. In Bayern, the need for restructuring is obvious - in recent years the club has been deteriorating both in play, in results and even in status (not every coach wants to coach them). If you compare what kind of restructuring Real has carried out over the last couple of seasons and what Bayern have done, then these are simply two different levels. If Bayern wants to be at the top of the European arena, then they must assemble a squad like Real Madrid and City, and this cannot be done without large investments.

Odds on Dortmund winning Champions League is amazing, but I just cant see Carlo Ancelotti missing a chance to win another big trophy with Real Madrid.
Anything can happen in this sport and we have seen stranger things before, so if I wanted to be more neutral I would choose both teams to score in that match.

Yeah that too.  Like Guardiola, Klopp prolly needs to go on a sabbatical, recharge his batteries and get the love for the game back after grueling years as an EPL manager.  Not saying he hated being at LFC, it's just the demands and the pressure of being football manager in the best league in the world is grueling.
