Congrats to all the winners, this pool shows a very good amount of prizes distributed to all winners as even 6 to 10th place got 700 dollars in here. I am looking forward to try another time when the time comes as in here because I forgot 3 consecutive times in February I completely quit competing. This format was great yet for me the Superbru format makes it much closer than this type of scoring here. Anyway I am very open to this new scoring format if it is interesting enough.

I agree, after you do this one, Superbru is like baby food. Every round was exciting and in manner of making picks,,, I think capable of all kinds of strategies for consideration without requiring too much understanding of special sports since football is football!

This pool ends... A not so exciting final, I thought PSG would surpass my expectations by scoring a lot of goals but only getting a penalty decided the extra round... with a penalty shootout PSG won.

Ya I had expectations of this kind of game in the end but still felt a little bit disappointed because I actually went out late and spent whole night outside just to watch this game so when you get that kind of game you feel a little cheated.

I also like this the most. I know some people prefer 1st place to get half the pot but this way more people can play, and even 10th place is a significant amount unlike some pools you get 3rd place and it's just your fee back,,, feels better to fight all the way through the whole season for a decent prize.

Congrats winners ! As usual, mafias are stealing the main spotlight again. I was so close to get myself on top 10 if only PSG could win on overtime.

I'm just going to quickly say here that I see the feedback on the penalty system. I'll come back to that shortly, not ignoring, just in a hurry to take care of some other things first.

We are going to change it again? I thought it was changed like a month ago? Kinda like the current changes, I was getting way less penalties before it was changed

One goal was what separated me from top spot - the one Vinicius scored against City in the 93rd minute.
They didn't even try to score - nor needed to. They were already celebrating then.

Probably anybody can say the same about 1 instance though - just wanted to show how tiny these margins can be sometimes

Im in the same position of KTC is strange to not have any game from the world cup, and i ahve to say for the first time i want the world cup to keep going and having more games, i feel like it was a very good one with all the teams playing at high level.

And i also want to know if we have some info, are reliable some of this teams? Is worth to bet on them or is just a way of burning money?

Yesterday was so empty without World Cup and it was so strange to have full night to sleep. To summarize 1st leg games, there is mostly wins with 1 or 2 goals difference, nothing isn't decided. Only Craiova managed to almost secure spot in next round as they beat ML Vitebsk 1:4

We are having right now 20+ games on today schedule from Conference League, which is super crazy.

It's good that the number of games at the World Cup is decreasing gradually not just in one day straight to zero, we can gradually wean ourselves off this addicion

I posted my thoughts in the Conference League thread, but you raised question here so: My question is: are bets there even justified? I don't know if serious teams want to participate in this league? It seems like it doesn't provide any financial benefits (for teams just above the very bottom tier). Therefore, I either don’t know what kind of team it is, or I think that the team I know (for example, Ajax) might deliberately lose their game.

I want to say yes, based on previous seasons, especially when there is a traditionally strong team with a bad enough performance to enter qualifications, the earliest example I can think of is Liverpool which had to play qualifications (and won all of them easily) with quite good odds. This time around, I'm not so sure, Levski Sofia was one team I looked at but didn't offer good returns as I expected but remains to be seen if there are others. I'm looking for simple odds closer to 2/1 here.

I only have stats to follow here. So, Ararat Armenia are veterans in Europe qualifiers... but they're playing Riga who are really good at home and has a much better UEFA coefficient, so bookies are putting them 4/1. I think they'll also win so the ML is good enough for me but a small handicap is also value.

For me KuPS is also a great value 2/1 bet -- they're in the midst of league football, so to me match fitness should be top while their opponents from N Macedonia are on holiday, as evidenced by the first leg. Bookies probably priced them lower because of that first leg advantage...

Well I saw the match between Petrocub and Egnatia and I assure you mate that Egnatia will have an easy win in the return leg despite having a very good odd near 2 I predict or a bit more, the Petrocub team lacked a lot and they were lucky to score a goal in the first minute. Of course I hope since Egnatia is an Albanian team they do not do some underground match fixing which I assure you is very popular here from what I have seen in my 23 years living here.
