Manchester City v Bayern Munich matchup looks quite balanced to me. Or maybe I can say Manchester City are even one step ahead of their opponent in this. I assume there will be an Italian finalist, not necessarily Napoli even though they are the first and the best in Serie A but they have their moments of weakness and Milan or Inter could surprise them.

I also think the same because I guess there will be 2 Italian teams in the next round. I predict Napoli and Inter Milan will qualify for the next round. Since only 4 teams in the semifinal, surely a big chance for 1 Italian team to go to the final round. Although I'm not sure which Italian team to be in the final round, I hope Napoli will be the finalist.

Napoli has had an awesome run this season and they're having the less competitive side of the quarter finals and semis finals. I have no doubt that they can make it to the finals but there's something that this smallers games does to you. It weaken your teams that when they reached the stage that they were meant to perform, they can't can't because they have been facing a weaker team since. This is exactly what happened to Manchester City when they faced Chelsea in the 2021 season finale.

Now they met again, and they both have Bayern Munich or Manchester city to face for anyone who progresses from the quarter finals stages. City looks a big weak in front of bayern although it has haaland as a beast striker but it will be facing bayern which known so well about the play style owned by haaland. Manchester City - Bayern Munich is the most attention getting matchup for me already. This is not much different than a finale for the Champions League as well. They are both teams that deserve to make it to the title now. Manchester City have been putting on a great show so far especially thanks to Haaland. He is their best card against Bayern Munich as well.

Bayern Munich on the other hand are doing really good despite losing a very important player in their attacking line like Lewandowski. I wonder if their disciplined game plan will be helpful for them to eliminate Manchester City as well. But I'm favouring the English team for the semi finals.
