Whenever two heavyweight teams like this meet, it is more often than not difficult to call. Anyway the two teams haven't really been at their exceptional best this season, they are both in second position in their respective leagues, but i know that wouldn't matter in this CL encounter.

There is news that Bayern Munich are on the verge of firing Julian Nagelsmann and replacing him with Thomas Tuchel, i do not know why they are changing their manager at this pivotal moment in the season, with important games coming up for them against Dortmund and Manchester City, whatever the board has in mind, i do hope it works for them, because i think City might actually have the advantage in this game because of this, the new manager might not have ample time to study his players and know what is the best way to win this QF tie.

The match is unpredictable because both teams seems to be in the same class but Manchester City for me have a slight advantage because of the goal scoring machine Erling Haaland.

Sacking the Julian Nagelsmann will be a big blunder. They should let him remain on the club till the end of the season before he could be replaced. I even heard that Thomas Tuchel has even agreed to replace the 35 years old Nagelsmann. Tuchel is a good coach but he might find it difficult to coordinate the team because of the short period he has before the end of the season. Nagelsmann has not done badly and I am sure many teams will be willing to have him immediately he is sacked.

Chelsea have had a really problematic run with Graham Potter so far. They still somehow managed to make it to the quarter finals in the Champions League. But considering their matchup in this stage I can say their chance is really low to move on. Because Real Madrid were one of the strongest opponents that they would have got a draw against. They have had quite many matches against each other in the recent years actually.

Chelsea were able to even eliminate them in the semi finals in the 2020-21 season. And in the previous season Chelsea resisted them very well really. Real Madrid were barely able to eliminate them by extra time thanks to Benzema's goal. But now things are way different. Chelsea aren't managed by Tuchel now and Potter is also unable to make this team better yet. Real Madrid should be able to get past them without serious difficulties I think.
