I can say that Haaland took his revenge well from Bayern Munich for the old days when he played with the Dortmund team. I remember many times he scored against Bayern but unfortunately his team lost the match. The opposite with Manchester City today he managed to score, assist, and create good chances. Bayern gave up after the second goal and after missing the chance to draw.
In the other hand there is one thing I couldn't understand. The reason behind their loss with a score of 3-0 was the mistakes of defender Dayot Upamecano, who made many deadly faults and lost the ball every time. He was obviously out of the match from the start, but the coach didn't change him, so they paid for it with the second goal when he offered the ball to Halaand camarades who didn't miss the chance.
Many people and Bayern Munich fans will still have hopes for a Remontada in Allianz Arena the second leg, which i don’t really believe it would happen with this level from both sides. wonderful football by Manchester City but I won't say the battle is over yet as Manchester City are in for a rematch now in the second to played at the Munich stadium and I would to clarify that the champions league is most famous for its brilliant comebacks team do in the return leg of play but I don't Manchester City would let that happen but you can never tell as its a game of soccer and anything is liable to happen. Haaland added to Bayern Munich's suffering in this match where Manchester City had won 3-0 over Bayern. I don't think the goals will stop and Manchester City will reduce the intensity of their attacks while they have the chance. It is still very possible to expect Manchester City to win 4-0 over Bayern Munich in the first leg, and they will be very comfortable in the second leg later.

For me Manchester City's win was a bit of a shock because it's not like they usually do in the UCL.

It is a surprise to see Manchester city with this marvelous performance tonight at Etihad. I never thought that they could perform to the level,to the extend of scoring 3 goals in the match and Bayern hasn't scored any goal yet.

This shows that Gadiola is mean on this trophy and if Manchester city go to Bayern home,I believe they will perform well and might even still win Bayern at home. Bayern couldn't understand what is happening since they underestimated Manchester city. I will say this is a good victory to start the quarter finals with. It is 60% certain that Manchester city will qualify to the semifinals.

They will be going to the second leg at Alianz Arena, knowing that they stand a chance of scaling through to the next stage of the competition. It was a wonderful game between the club Tuchel has got a lot of work to do if he wants Bayern to switch it up for the second leg and pull up the near impossible. the visitor started the second half on very positive start but could not hold on for too long. City threatened throughout the remaining match, ultimately scoring twice in six minutes, bayern made countless mistake and poor decision from almost everyone, so a tough task await Bayern in the return leg it was fantastic football from both team, city was on balance Bayern seem to lack that cutting edge to put City under pressure while the home side is having certain moments of brilliance from individual players which, in this case, has been the difference. I wasn't expecting this to be very comfortable for Manchester City honestly. I was waiting for them to win here but a 3-0 result is much more than the expectations. Bayern Munich are normally a very disciplined team but even they couldn't stand still against this Manchester City. Especially the second half performances determined the fate of this matchup. Haaland wasn't very effective in the first half but he was the star of the second half with a goal and an assist. It must be feeling nice for him to score against Bayern Munich after a while.

Manchester City really want the Champions League title this season. I can't wait to see them playing against Real Madrid in the next round as well. I guess Real Madrid would eliminate Chelsea also like they did to Liverpool.

funny because this is what have been actually happening to this city team, I mean you see them perform so brilliantly and at the end of everything they just fall out or loose out in the semi finals of the champions league and the only time they manage to get it right they fell out to their premier league counter part in the final which was rather sad for them. But I just hope this can be different for them like you said but I feel the race for the premier league title can still have effect on this Manchester City team as they can now overtake arsenal now and take the lead at the top of the table so I think their attention will be divided which not good for their performance in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich are literally out of the game. They are trying but they aren't concentrating at all. After the first goal, they were pushing a little. After the second goal, you no longer feel that they are threatening. After the third goal until now, Bayern barely keep the ball and City almost scored the fourth from a long shot.
Upamecano is the man of the match, I mean the man of City since he was the key for the 3 goals!

If you are that optimistic about Bayern Munich, then I should be that much about Manchester City.
Indeed the match and the winner will be decided in 90 minutes, but I no longer believe in Bayern Munich only after they sacked Julian Nagelsmann. An exciting match, in the end City won this battle with a score of 3-0. actually, I expected Haaland to score two goals, unfortunately he only managed one goal. however, only the goals scored by Rodri are cool enough for me. since City took the lead in the 27th minute, the Bayern players were a little distracted from their concentration. and in the second half, Bayern Munich's players made many mistakes. which in the end, the City players are more flexible to add to his goals.

To be honest, we have something in common when it comes to changing coaches. many people say that Tuchel will bring Bayern to win over City. but in fact, Pep really understands the style and system implemented by Tuchel. perhaps, the situation would be different if Nagelmann was still Bayern coach.

Bayern Munich defense looks weakened today, so Man City can have enough chances to score some goals. I don't know why Bayern defenders play not quite solidly today, maybe Tuchel chooses too offensive tactics. Man City has great attackers, Bayern shouldn't play offensive if they want to win against this type of team. If Bayern focuses on defense and uses counter-attack tactics, they may play more effectively.

I am also quite surprised that Man City can score 3 goals and win without conceded goals. I mean Bayern is a strong team, at least they also can score 1-2 goals in this match. This is surprising result for them, it is a too bad result for Tuchel as a new coach.

Although the margin was huge in terms of the final results but I least expected Bayern Munich to at least have it mind to score a goal for consolation making it 3-1 to bring down the margin of the win to a more reputatable results but they failed and they need to do the unthinkable in the return leg of this fixture at the allianz arena in Germany which will be very difficult to do because they will need to win Manchester City by a goal margin of 4 or 3 to at least get a draw in the second leg which I definitely know Manchester City and pep won't allow such.
