it really need hard effort to stop our habbit in gambling, in once time we want to stop it but in another occasion we want play it again . i think we must find good circle which is no one of them was gambler, if we still in this circle i am doubt we cant stop it. support from our lovely person also needed , they give huge influence on it.

In my view each person is responsible of their own actions. So, for me there's no need to have someone else "letting" you get addicted to something. You are the one that decides what to do with your life, and you get all the outcomes that come with your decisions. There's no blaming other people because they "let" you do something bad. It's all my own responsibility.

If someone in your life is telling you that you should quit gambling I reckon there's probably something bad in your behavior, basically it's a red flag that you should think about. But in the end it's your own mind that decides to stop any kind of behavior.

Supporting our loved ones habits is a sign of respect. As long as it isn't affecting our partner's life negatively, I don't think asking them to stop or quit will be fair.
