Manchester united vs Sevilla is a game most football lovers would be looking look forward to. While Sevilla has pretty good stats against United, the red devils are in good form in the european tournament this season, they have won their three home matches at Old Trafford but have not won Sevilla in the last three matches. It's not strange to see Roma playing very defensive at the Feyenoord home stadium but they suddenly got a chance to open the match with a penalty. The shot of Pellegrini is not too bad but it hits the left goal-post and Roma missed that great chance to have a goal.

Wow, Feyenoord became more and more aggressive in providing a barrage of attacks in early minutes of the second half, they also did not give Roma a chance to counterattack, and now Feyenoord are leading with score 1-0 from a great assist by Idrissi in the 53rd minute and very well executed by Wieffer. The home team are better rather than Roma in ball possession attack etc, I think it seems like Feyenoord can win, but this match is also still going and maybe Roma can scored too.

Rome should have kicked the penalty better in minute 43. So Pellegrini hit the ball against the post, oh dear. After that there was nothing good football from Roma and Feyenoord took their chance. Marcel Sabitzer scored in the 14th minute, and I saw Manchester United playing very well, especially in attack because they had a few chances at the start of the game.

It is not over for Roma, just a goal difference is not so big, they can make up for it in the return leg.

Manchester United the other candidate that can win this competition are already two goals ahead even without Rashford, with goals from Sabitzer assist from Bruno, and Sabitzer again with Martial assisting this time. Manchester United will score more goals in this game to ensure that the return leg will be easier, Manchester United are very good at home, to me this game is over.

I'm waiting to see Di Maria shining today against Sporting however Sprtoing usually tries to press players and doesn't let them use the space in-game when they are playing against strong teams, I think if Sporting scores the first goal today they start the defensive game because they know winning the game against a team like Juventus is perfect for them.

I have other considerations about the second leg. Roma are playing at home, it allows Roma to play more motivated and win match. Winning 1-0 on aggregate over Roma did not make Feyenoord qualify easily for the semi-finals, so there must be a fierce battle in the second leg at the Stadio Olimpico. But regarding the first leg, I have to admit that Feyenoord's performance was very good and they beat Roma in many statistics. The team is good, but I think Mourinho has a better comeback plan in the second leg.

Man United played very well in this match, Casemiro's presence made the Man United midfield very organized and the match was completely dominated by Man United, both in terms of attack and possession. Marcel Sabitzer appeared quite impressive until the first half ended, his two goals completed Man United's victory so far in the first round.

Sevilla lost concentration because Man United played very pressing and I think they should try to maximize the midfield and defenders, so that Man United is not so free to hold the ball and carry out attacks. It doesn't look like Sevilla might get a goal from Manchester United as it is. There attacks have come with less chances as they are often broken before its fully developed to get a shooting angle. Meanwhile, the Sevilla defence has been very porus with the Manchester United t3am finding easy ways to penetrate them. The second goal was just uncontested, the defence was relaxed with that turn from A. Martial and before they could read his intentions, he hides a pass across to Marcel Sabitzer and the goal is made.
A good day for Mancher United indeed, even without M. Rashford and Casemiro has surely been in line of all the Manchester United  defence. Did he almost get his head shot off minutes ago by Gudelj. Casemiro just does what he can for his team anytime.

They wanted to make a breakthrough by playing more aggressively but the first half didn't go well for them even though the game was open in a bit of difficult conditions it's worth appreciating but on the other hand this is what they have to do. Like it or not, a scheme like this must be adopted, especially with the condition that they are currently having to reduce the existing deficit goals.
