This competition is gaining momentum and the number of participants is increasing. It's great, because the more of us, the more fun. I'm starting to worry about the organizers, because it will be difficult to choose the winners. What kind of work the participants present is incomprehensible to the mind. Ranging from funny to really creepy and scary just right for the Halloween theme. A real flight of fantasy and creativity.

This is my first time carving a pumpkin. and I didn't think that carving a pumpkin would be this difficult and it turns out that carving a pumpkin requires patience to do it but it's also very fun. I carved with my son and it became a precious moment.

I am actually very poor about carving but I tried to make something because I also have to participate in this festival.
By the way good night everyone I have to go bed early today. Because when I was going for giving  Btc sign and bl*oody face in the pumpkin  I couldn't find my red marker then I used my wife's lipstick, and she threaded me to go market and buy a new lipstick tomorrow early morning.

I at minimum eat the seeds. Regardless mine won’t go to waste, these guys are beefing up for the winter. Saw this on my dog walk today..

Not to late at all. Everyone has all the way through Halloween day to submit their entires. I’ve actually yet to do my pumpkin (not that I’m part of the competition). I would imagine we will have a few entires on Halloween day itself as everyone gets in the mood!

I guess it depends on the location and availability of pumpkins. Farmers sometimes don't even collect their pumpkins because the market demand is too low. But, In my city. We can't find pumpkins all the time. In sub-continent country, there is a lot of variant of pumpkins. People eat pumpkins at least once a month. Sweet pumpkins are somewhat expensive in my city.

This was my first ever pumpkin carving. I had never tried to carve before because I never knew such a contest existed. Without this contest, I don't think I would buy a pumpkin and cut it just to see how it looks. The pumpkin I carved will be another dish as well.

Pumpkin is used as a symbol of Halloween festival, then this pumpkin is eaten by different people of the world.  However, not all places in the world are suitable for pumpkin cultivation.  China is leading the way in pumpkin cultivation.
China produces 7.7 million tons of pumpkins every year.  India is in second place with 5 million tons, followed by Ukraine and Russia producing 1.2 million tons of pumpkins every year, and USA producing 1 million pumpkins every year. Moreover, pumpkins are available in Mexico, Indonesia, Italy and France.

Same, I am still working my way through the seeds, they are tedious to shell, but a few every day is
manageable, good source of protein and better than wasting them.

At least some wildlife are making the most of what is being left outside.

I wish I was able to place this carving on a pumpkin, but I was not able to get a pumpkin in my locality, so I decided to join the context by using this fresh Carica papaya. Thank you, OP, for organizing this contest, which has made me exercise my little carving skill.

I present my work, the first of its kind, the Halloween Papaya Bitcoin.

The idea behind this art is Bitcoin going to the Moon in the next halving and other forth-coming halving.
