Yes, England showed themselves to be very weak in every match and won almost always at the end of the match when the opponent was already at exhaustion. Well I won't lie I was also shocked that England was able to manouver their way and actually win this game because I was totally vouching for the Netherland especially after that early first goal and the reason being is that england was really finding it difficult to find their way around the goal post. England have a very good defence no doubt. Walker is still in his best form and his energy is still great but a tree does not make a forest. So, I'm wondering how they will be able to stop Spain from scoring. What England should do is to come out and play Spain without feeling intimidated. No, it is not like nobody thought they could do it, but the way they did it is something nobody expected. We have seen the weaker teams win during this European Championship. Whether through penalties or a lucky punch, but England was dominating the Netherlands for almost the entire game. They have dominated them in all regards, that was the surprising part about this win and this is why I think the game against Spain needs to be played first. This is far from over and I wouldn't be surprised if this one goes into overtime as well.
