The only team, that was consistently good during the entire Euro 2024 won the trophy. I was expecting more from England, but they disappointed me again. Another weak performance by Phil Foden. I don't know why Mainoo was in the lineup. Kane was completely neutralized by the Spanish defenders and Bellingham didn't do anything remarkable. England has lots of talented players, but something is missing in their team. It was obvious that luck ran out of England's side in the finals, cause they couldn't scale through by scoring another goal after Cole Palmers equaliser, well I knew Spain would definitely cause trouble for them when they scored the Opener and it happened as expected but what suprised me was how Luke Shaw who just got back from injury was able to mount pressure on Yamal and even forced him to switch to another wing, it shows how good Shaw could be when he's fully fit, I think the nickname Shawbertocarlos is well deserving cause he proved it yesterday, Phil Foden once again didn't create much impact for his country side like he does for his club side, and that's what Southgate needs to consider if he still happens to be the English coach in another tournament, another thing I noticed is that the Harry Kane effect is still intact cause yet another final and he couldn't lift the trophy, Lol.

Harry Kane is not cursed, y'all are just following the damn crowd. Football can be cruel and filled with bad moments, it's not over until it's over. Lionel Messi had the same faith before he was able to win his first international trophy. Do you want to know who's to be blamed for the back to back finals? Sometimes we have to embrace things like this so some coaches will get it stuck in their brains that you don't rely on past glory when making a selection of players. As predicted by me and most people in this thread, England was completely defeated by Spain. In this match Spain really dominated the game very well. The Spanish players were indeed able to overwhelm a team like England in this match. The reason is that in that match the English players were only able to make 4 shots which aimed directly at the Spanish goal mouth. This is enough to prove that England's forward players had great difficulty penetrating the Spanish defense. So with this victory, Spain managed to win its 4th Euro trophy, an extraordinary achievement. Meanwhile, England this time had to settle for being runners up to the euro. The reason is that in the previous edition of the Euros, as we know, England were also runners up.
