Some will agree with that especially the ones who doesn't have anything to lose because of the different investments they took that made them richer, so it having these certain investments is not really a big deal to them because if it turns out to be a scam then so be it but if it's a good project then congratulations, simple as that. But for most investors that doesn't have that much money to invest with huge risks, like me, we will always prefer to invest in known top working altcoins and mainly bitcoin as well because the risks are minimized while the profits that will be earned does have a much higher chances.

Agree with your point in general. Not all new projects are bad, so we'd better take the risk for profit. The question lies in how much risk you can take and whether you are willing to take it. If you do your own research on any new project and make a judgement that the project is going to be fine, at least for a while, then you are encouraged to invest in it and wait for the best outcome. Even if something bad happens and you are doomed to lose money, then learn the lesson and move on. However, if the risk is too much for you or anybody, being impulsive to invest is like committing suicide. Nobody should ever let emotions dictate their action.
