More on how good you are in picking matches that may give you more win than losing results, most of the time sorting games that you understand well gives you some edge, not a sure deal though as you are still betting into possible outcome, there's no accurate outcome as there are many factors that may affect the end results.

of course its gonna be difficult finding new project that have a lot of potential otherwise everyone would become billionaire, the thing that makes it still worth it despite the difficulty is the fact that there are many coins

We always have to check new projects before investing. Because new projects always turn out to be scams for which we have a little chance of losing money. So we always have to be careful. It's true, High risk, high returns. All of the investment has risk in it but crypto project investment has so much risk in it given that we are on a space where investment scams are common and investors need to be extra careful knowing that there's no assurance on how would be your invesment go. Even holding a coin has risk, it's the volatility that will decrease the value of our investment.  It is not the same as normal investing where project owners has a lot of things to consider like the law. In crypto, it is much easier to scam people to be honest especially when deFi had it's trend.

its just that other things like market capitalisation matters in this case, whether the project is new if it got some big market capitalisation and volume then I think its good enough for investment since chance for it to vanish into thin air is slimmer.
