it is fine to take risk for established altcoins which have potentiality that ensure those could recover in future if anything bad happened. If it could be complex of new altcoins cases cause those are totally unpredicted. High risky could be bring high benefit too but for the matter of new altcoins, there is more possiblity to lose money than having good return. Analysis is important but i saw, most of the time new altcoins preform like out of idea. So should need to recalculate about risk & profit before any taking action for new altcoins

Taking risk in new coins is not bad for all but if you have no knowledge of research of new projects than it is advised to stay aways from new projects which poses more risk than old coins listed in top rank exchanges. I agree that many old coins price drops in these two years and didn't gives any profit to holders.. Your story will be not fit to everyone.. There is possibility that one has limited fund for invest, now if he invest in new coins where chances of price down is more then he will not think to invest second time.. I will recommend only 5% fund for investing in new coins only if one want to take risk.
