I've gone for an England win but I don't have that much faith in them. Senegal will be fired up as the underdogs. France will blitz England in the next round anyway.

Ngl, i have a some respect for Senegal, look at what Cameroon did to Brazil a few days ago, african teams are a force to be reckon with...

I had 2-0 England to win in the pool and they just scored right now,of course the game was boring up until now but I think it will change as Senegal got nothing to lose.This will also open up possibilities for England to score more goals but most likely the second half is not going to be as boring as this one.

For tomorrow the odd of Brazil 1.30 looks to me like a sure bet as the difference between Brazil and South Korea is astronomic,the fact that they beat Portugal does not mean anything to me,the forwarders of Brazil were both amazing,Martinelli and Antony,no wonder why Arsenal is in the top of Premier League,Martinelli is a super star,I was really impressed by his play against Cameroon.

France looked very impressive winning 3-1. I had 3-0 France, damn Lewandowski scored a penalty in deep added time to make it 3-1.

Attention turned to England vs Senegal now.

England to win 2-0 & set up a 1/4 final vs France.

France looks awesome against Poland. mbappe scored 2 goals (he's on fire), and it was an easy game for France. France is just waiting for England (I'm sure England will win easily against Senegal).

Robert Lewandowski(!?) the great disappointment of this World Cup and his attitude celebrating the goal says a lot about how he took this World Cup in the sporting aspect, vacations.

That celebration was from teams like Australia, for example, a player of his category and Poland is not a team without history in the World Cups, disappointment.

 I don't see him at the level of Boniek or the incredible Lato, they gave it their all with his national team.

With 1:0 at halftime it could be much more interesting game. Now 2nd half reminded some meaningless friendly game, rather than World Cup 1/8 final.

Yeah, so far there was no chance to see any upset. Underdogs wins is fun thing, but on the other hand now we will have TOP games in 1/4 finals like Argentina - Netherlands or France - England. Tomorrow I don't expect to see drama in South Korea - Brazil game, but Japan - Croatia should be interesting.

Yes, this is what happened. The referee should have ended the first half and not left an opportunity for Kane, so I got the correct result for the match for France. I look forward to getting the right results tomorrow.

I'm highly anticipating the quarter finals fixture to be very honest, I really can't rule out England after what I saw tonight and the encounter vs France would definitely be a one to anticipate, Mbappe has been on fire, but it's going to be a different level of task in a faceoff versus Kyle Walker who has been impressive.

I really think I might even back England to advance in that fixture, and it will all be a battle to be won in the midfield which England also have a luxury of right now. It seemed more like a walk in the park for England after they've found their rhythm after the first goal, and from there it was just a matter of time.

^Yeah my brain said it's an England no-brainer but I went for the upset in the pool... all favourites through in the end. They grind out a win, or overpower with many trying to counter from Senegal mistakes, or take it to penalties, all routes showed English superiority and it ended up to be so. Hope England play like this against France, no older enemy than them to get motivated! Bellingham's game, first half at least.

A lot of them are doing this now and they should prohibit it. It's cheating really. They wait to see which way the keeper is going then put it in the opposite side. Penalty takers obviously don't have much confidence when they do this. If players stop in their run up then that should be it and they either forfeit it or have to do the run up again.

I don't like it too, and since they made the keeper moving off his line a bigger deal in recent years, feel like penalties more than ever put the taker on the advantage (as, I guess, it should be).

I suppose some people playing in different cultures wouldn't mind it (and I'd never have guessed Lewie does it), but yeah I feel like you got to put a limit on it, some moves border on unsportsmanlike conduct.

Yeah, I only predicted 2-0 but from what I read it could have been more, honestly I'm just happy to get close scores from 2 games to keep my position, #1 guy has such a huge lead so it's pointless to catch him. More important to just keep getting close scores to stay in touch.

I notice Henderson and Bellingham have so many pics together online, so Liverpool seem to be really keen on taking him, hope he goes to a team that will use him and not bench him though!

I was also expecting a lot more from Senegal as they played really well against Netherlands despite losing,then they defied the odds and beat Ecuador by making them go out of the away and qualifying further from the group stages so I could not understand their total dismissal in yesterday game.I knew that England would qualify but I did not expect them to achieve this as easily as they did.

While France is one of the strongest contender to the title I think they will not have a walk in the park against England and for me even if England qualifies it would be of course no surprise at all.

Gotta feel bad for Lewa. You can't even call Poland a one-man army cos even he can just dissapear out of the game.

That goal in the last second should give Robert Lewandowski something out of nothing. Really feel bad for him. Imagine he was with a team like England, France, German and others. In Poland he indeed is an one man army.

If that happens which can only happen in a dream world in my opinion it will not be another big upset but it will the biggest upset of all history of World Cup football.I know that it was Korea that made possible that Germany to be eliminated in the group stage in a World Cup before some years but I heavily doubt we will see Brazil suffering a defeat from them,it is impossible based on team quality but since betting is involved anything can happen and we will just call it the biggest upset  .

This match between Japan and Croatia is very much difficult to analyze because on one hand the Japanese have never gone past the round of 16 and their current form has seen them beat two big footballing nations (Germany and Spain) and failed to beat a Costa Rica side that we all thought they would easily win.
FYI this looks like a low scoring match and btw on paper Croatia is the team to back and my hunch tells me team Europe will carry the day.. Maybe Japan 0-1 Croatia.

This match between Japan and Croatia is very much difficult to analyze because on one hand the Japanese have never gone past the round of 16 and their current form has seen them beat two big footballing nations (Germany and Spain) and failed to beat a Costa Rica side that we all thought they would easily win.

For our betting game, it's definitely a make it or break it game. The distribution of picks (JP win, CRO win, draw) is pretty balanced. And place 3 and 15 is only 3.5 points apart. Pretty sure that after the match, our pool standings will be shuffled once again.

In the last group match I was saying Cameroon to win against Brazil, I did not believe myself when I said that but we had 1 - 0 win for Cameroon. I understand Brazil was with the B team but still LOL

Today if something happen even close to a draw in the 90 minutes then it will be a big surprise. Most likely Neymar is back means we are going to see the best Brazil squad although there are few injuries. But I will be looking forward to at-least a 2 goal difference win for them.

In the current match, are we going to see a Japan win? They are good at defending and they already have a lead.

Things change after minute 40of the first half so that Japan ends up winning this first half...

That's the Japan I expected but for the second half, I think the Croats can recover and this "surprise" of starting the second half losing, will be beneficial... I think we'll see the first match with extra time.

There will be a surprise if Japan continues to maintain the current result, and as for the Brazil match, I do not think that Korea will be able to shake the back lines of the Brazilian team.

And I don't know if Croatia will be able to come back in the match, at least by scoring the equalizer
