No surprises last night in the Argentina vs Croatia game. Croatia can be very proud of their performances at another World Cup but sadly it was one step too far. Messi dominated the game, can’t believe he’s 35, if he wins the final he’s the confirmed GOAT imo.

France vs Morocco tonight, surely France will win to set up an absolute blockbuster of a final.

As for the pool, I’m in 8th, fast running out of games to be able to get a top 3 place
Might have to be a bit inventive in the remaining 3 games to try & pick results that others don’t.

We have Argentina in final now and tomorrow we are going to see if they are playing with France or Morocco.
There are only three more matches until the end of this fantastic world cup, and situation in Supebru table is very interesting.
Trofo played with his heart for draw in Croatia match, and only one guy FmbetBru correctly predicted 3:0 for Argentina.
Slissy with sam00 are still holding first and second place with same points, but things can easily change in next matches.

There are 9 more maximum points in play for three matches left in this world cup, and anything can change with top positions.
I don't know exact math who lost all chances but you still have it, depending how players above you score in rest of the matches.
What we all need is prediction of exact scores for this matches, and that is not so easy thing to do.

I kinda wish Alvarez didn't get the second goal as I would have gotten an exact score. I thought 2-0 was already so risky thinking of how tight Croatia normally plays. I did climb back 1 spot so it's okay, now the problem is another game of draw experts, but is it too risky to take?

Turned out, that Argentina didn't need di Maria, not even in 2nd half since it was pretty obvious, when Argentina was in a very good position after leading 2-0 already at half time. 
So, di Maria will be fully recovered for a possible final against France or Morocco.

Yaaaaa I was gutted because it cost me 1 point in the quiz, but I guess they never needed him AND he can totally start the game, or play a very good second half to chase a game or whatever. Anyway, Morocco is also a good finalist, I would love to see that battle, France of course is not bad too, but we are guaranteed a great final whatever it is.

Depends on how the tournament was setting i think, but normally Superbru tiebreak its:

-Most exact scores
-Most Close scores
-Most corrects scores

You can find the info in the superior corner clicking in the three dots if i dont remember bad.

I was thinking that the most exact scores would be the factor at first aswell but I got 33 points through exact scores and Slissy got 24 points through exact scores.

I just took a closer look on the app and found out:

When two or more players are tied with the same amount of points, the player that predicted more correct results will be placed higher. Therefore, logically thinking, having more exact scores means that the other person probably predicted the winning team more often and is placed higher.

Partly for spam reasons... main threads get a lot of spam posts, while pool participants, being paying members, actually have something decent to say with money riding on their predictions. That's the idea anyway, I do spew quite a bit of nonsense even when I'm bottom table only playing for yellow caps haha.

And yeah, H2H more correct outcomes (doesn't matter exact close or correct) counts as tiebreaker, so Slissy got more results (35 correct results) than you did (33 correct results). 11 exact results is 2 more than the next best one, not bad!

When France scored 1-0 so early I already thought that it was gonna be a total beating for morocco... After the 2-0 it was even more intense as I was hoping (sorry Slissly) for France not to score a third goal...

Congrats to France for reaching World Cup final. Conceding early goal for Morocco was worst possible scenario. It meant that they won't be able focus on defense for whole game, trying to move game to extra time and penalties. They were fighting well, but France win was deserved.
After all, with so many upsets on this tournament, having France and Argentina in the final is somewhat expected scenario, they were on of top 5 favorites.

I'm not really sure which one is main thread when there multiple topics for World Cup were made. I don't post in these main topics because discussion is impossible there with so many spammers. I prerfer self-moderated topics or prediction pool discussions like this one.

I just needed Croatia to score a for a perfect pick. Pretty much ruined my chances of even having a hope of getting a top ten place but that's fully out of reach now.

99% of people will pick France to win so the table won't move much on games like this. I saw four people back Morocco. Were they going tactical knowing the only way they could move up would be with an upset or do we have some Moroccans in the pool?  . It's a shame Morocco didn't get a goal as they deserved it. I thought they were probably the better team in the second half but they just couldn't get many decent shots off due to the superior French defence. Shame about that overhead kick hitting the post as well. I'm really hoping there's lots of goals and drama in the final and that both teams don't just cancel each other out as they're pretty evenly matched in my opinion.

Lol. I had picked 2-0 a few days back but I was thinking about whether I should change or not because France's front line is something unstoppable. Though later changed my mind and didn't change. I had 2-0 as a correct score as I had put it since it was available in the Superbru app and had forgotten about it.I saw yesterday that it netted me 8 places up but that is of no good because I am far behind and I don't stand any single chance to be in the top ten but yet after seeing that this will be a boosted yellow cap as the last round for this pool who knows getting that free bet is a consolation prize for me,I made many mistakes in the group stages and that was what left me behind nevertheless overall I am happy with my performance here in the pool as the first time participant in a World Cup.

looking at Morocco defense so far, 1:0 was most obvious choice, but fast goal by France (fastest on the championship, correct me if wrong), changed situation on the pitch, and Morocco had to organize and control match from that point

in the end, could be a lot more for France, but Morocco deserved to score at least one goal

I honestly just looked at the odds for each game and went with my guts and so far it seemed to be working!

For the last two games however I am really unsure and almost scared that I will give up my good position :/
Both games could go either way and we will probably see quite a few changes on the leaderboard.

Of course it's very interesting even though the match has been missed, but it's very interesting to discuss until now, of course this is a very valuable achievement for Korasia, of course, they can be consistent from the 2018 World Cup to this year, they are always in the quarter finals, of course an achievement  which is extraordinary, plus they don't have an attacker like Mario Mandžukić, to help Croatia's attack, unfortunately they had to lose to Argentina 3-0 without significant resistance..

I was really worried that France would lose, in fact I didn't really doubt France's game, I forgot that France is the defending champion, they definitely don't want to lose this important match, fortunately I didn't place my bet wrong for France and won the bet yesterday, very happy  see France meet Argentina in the Final later, But I am very proud of Morocco, they were able to advance to the semifinals of this year's World Cup, that they were able to compete with big countries , even though their level was not comparable to France, but they managed to provide fierce resistance to  French..

Yeah, I'm mathematically out of this, so I'm going to go in on what bookmakers say are the unlikeliest outcomes (maybe take a look at some of the outlier correct scores) and hope everyone else at the top fails with expected results. It's really the only way to break into top 10 with 6 points to play for and 2.5 points to catch up. So only a perfect score on Saturday that everyone else gets wrong gets us normies up heh.
