I think he is going to win,only if he does not get a good result and the second place which I think is also a German makes a correct exact score only then he cannot win.I am also not making the congratulations right now as they say it brings bad luck but deep in me I know he will win.

This was a good pool I am in the middle of the rankings just about 6 points from the prize places which it shows how tight this tournament was,tomorrow last game Argentina vs France,there is still the possibility to play for the last yellow cap.

notblox1 I think is the big winner in all these competitions because he looks really primed to take top spot and at worst #3, This is the biggest prize pool.

Unfortunately my faith in Morocco was not rewarded, one should have seen Croatia turning on the magic finally and injuries and tiredness taking the toll on Morocco.

Now I even dropped out of Top 5 but no complaints, and let's wait until the end

For this to happen, I have to pick the wrong team so I get 0 points and both of them would have to predict the exact outcome, which is somewhat unlikely but still possible.

Once I see their picks tomorrow I might know that I will win from the start of the game (if we pick the same team or all of us pick 0-0, 1-1 etc.)

Yup! That's why I offered you congratulations. Not so much that it hinges on you getting the wrong score, but that they each have to get exact scores -- far unlikelier IMO.

Still, anyone would kill to be in your position, and this is such a tight final (odds are deadlocked) it's an amazing run from you, typical a football n00b wins it! As casperBGD notes, it really hurts you when you have bias -- I know this bias ruined me in many seasons of Premier League/Serie A/La Liga pools!

Even though you say you're joking, I think that that might very well be of the reasons. I was totally unbiased this whole tournament (except for the group stage).

i never had this excitement on any pool because I have never seen any such competition in any pool I have participated if I can remember correctly. In UCL pool, KTCchaimp[ion was leading the pool with a huge point difference if I'm correct. In cricket, I barely see such competition on the final match. ANything can happen. My second place is taken by bullrunbro yesterday and if something goes wrong today against me, it's possible that I may lose my current position lol. this was a great ride so far.

It's good that all France players were able to recover for the final game and both teams will play with best their squads.
Only more than 20 minutes left until game and hype is very big. I'm not going to predict something or share my bets, simply just let best team to win and I hope that there won't be contraversies, scandals and mistakes of referee.

I thought it was weird they took Giroud off -- you always keep your scorer on, not his fault he wasn't getting any service, but Dembele definitely had an off day so maybe we see France take on Argentina in the half. Possession hugely in Argentina's side so they needed to swing that around.

I thought everyone will pick high score as both team has a lot of good attacking players. Chances of getting a lot og score is very high. But it turned out not my competitor did what I expected and France too isn't playing up to the mark. I will not surprise if I see no goal from France, they still haven't created a goal opportunity, sadly.

What a freakin emotional final this was,when it first started I thought that Argentina was slightly dominating the game and then they scored two very well deserved goals.After this I was checking the stats at Flashscore in 65 minutes and saw a compelling fact,France had 0 hit in goal while Argentina had a lot of them,I thought what an easy victory is going this final to be for Argentina only to be surprised at Mbappe scoring 2 goals in 2 minutes equalizing,then in the additional time Messi scored again and I thought now Argentina will win,yet another penalty for France which for me it was not,then the penalties,personally the best World Cup I have seen from that distant year of 1990 and to now.

This was worst outcome for my predictions, and my final score in Superbru is 6th place, and in FIFA website 2nd place.

Although that wasn't a penalty for Argentina again (and VAR did not check it again), I'm really happy for Messi.
He deserves to go like this, a perfect international ending to an amazing career.

They allowed exactly the same thing against Netherlands so they have a problem, and I think that one famous Croatian coach said that 2:0 is the worst lead you can ever had

Wow, Sam00 is such a lucky winner and I am so happy for him. The world cup final is a big interesting game that I would like to watch again because of the so much excitement and how tough the game was with consistent efforts from the both team to make sure that they win the match but Argentina was had been making consistent efforts to win this world cup had finally proved to us that he deserves it.
This calls for celebration from all the Argentina supporters and  fans. Messi wold be one of the happiest man in the world right now to have proved to us that he could win the world cup.

Hey guys, congrats to the winner and winners of the prediction competition, as well as to supporters of Argentina. I've just watched the finals together with friends, and what a game it was! First half it looked like France wasn't even trying, but then there was a small period of time with France scoring twice in a matter of minutes! My prediction was 3-2 Argentina, and it came quite close to being true until France managed to get to a draw, and then penalties started. I'm happy for Argentina, just their third win of the World Cup. They really deserved it, Messi's still got it, but France played very decently, too.

Mbappe gave three goals from penalty spot to same keeper on same match, it is really hard task to do
but, he did not had any supporting player to back him up into the final

on the other hand, Messi played great tournament, and deserved to lead Argentina into celebration, it is a title after 36 years

and, not sure were Brazil more happy with France not getting back to back, and equalize that record, or with neighbors getting the title
