In Champions league is it obvious that PSG is going to win the title?

Well, they have been among the favorites the last 5+ years but have managed to get out of the quarterfinals only twice - eventually losing the 2019 final to Bayern and a semifinal to City in 2020.
They have a tough draw in the R16 - Bayern had 6 clean victories with a 18-2 goal difference in a group with Inter and Barcelona.

It would not surprise me if PSG gets kicked out in the 1st knockout round.

To me, 0,1 btc is a lot even at the current price of bitcoin because I only started investing into bitcoin in 2020 so It's not like I have a big stash already haha

You wrote first before I did. PSG and City are Top2 favorites in champions league ever since I remember from the days when Mbappe and Neymar together and from when City just kept winning every title so easily.

Both sides have the best superstars but like World Cup, you only need 1 upset or bad game to get knocked out

I think both sides need much more experience first, both from players and managers.

Well there's nothing you can do if you're not in the PL pool other than wait for the Euros in two years  . Hopefully these tournaments keep growing and we can have huge jackpot one day. I'd love to aim for something like a whole bitcoin for first place eventually but we'd need a lot of players. I'm happy if we can get 50 each season now like we have done for both this and the last PL one. Each pool has grown by at least ten players so we might get there eventually.

I'm joining in the thanks! It was a really cool competition, but now you can repeat it only after 4 years  Although I'm sure that the European Championship, as always, will be better than the World Cup, so we have to wait only two years.
In general, this competition was more exciting due to the timing than, for example, the Premier League pool, where the competition lasts a very long time - we had to make predictions almost every day. But there is not enough strength to compete at such a pace all the time, so now you can have fun in the pools of the national leagues and take a break from intense forecasting.

It will be funny to tell now but when Argentina lost their first match I had a weird feeling that they are going to revenge it by taking the world cup. Unbeaten 36 matches and they had to lose it against a team like Saudi. That was supposed to be an egoistic issue for them. I remember in cricket once Australia won a world cup from very similar position.

Look at this way, in PSG team they have Mbappe, Messi and with them they have Neymar. Both Mbappe and Massi are in their top form. Not only the form but the mental strength after this final. I am having this weird feeling again that PSG will win the season.

I don't really think too much about the Dollar value... I payed 0.002 BTC to enter an amazing competition and received 0.10 BTC. That is just amazing

Congrats to all the winners, I was good in the group stages but managed to fail miserably in the knockouts. There were a lot of unexpected results - and a lot of games went the wrong way for me in the last minutes.
Turning my focus to the PL and CL pools now - hopefully it will be better there.

I won the Fifa bracket challenge in 2 leagues with friends but here it was enough only for 7th place. A lot of good players enter these pools

I did badly everywhere else on betting, whether on Sportsbet, or on direct with some friends. Actually we play very simple handicaps, outcome is always 2 to 1 so sometimes people willingly take something that is actually very good odds, so I should have made money but my team either kept drawing or directly losing lol.

The funniest thing for me is in the pool, my 2nd and 3rd group games were totally picks without knowing anything as I was on vacation and entered it all ahead. And I won something.

Same as Bracket in Sportsbet, entered everything randomly, and ended up 10th spot.

Nevertheless, the Champions League should also be really exciting this year. Besides FC Bayern and PSG, there are several other clubs that are good contenders for the title. IMHO, it hasn't been such an open race for a long time.

You are absolutely right. However, I was performing slightly below average the whole season so far. And that's unlikely to change with my non-existent expertise in the Premier League, haha.

I already wrote in some thread before WC started that I expect great football. Top players are in top form at the moment and not tired with mind already thinking about holidays like in the usual WC slot. Problems will arrive latter on as the leagues get to their finish and players that came far in WC start to get more injuries or mental fatigue.

That being said I still can't believe Qatar got it. This WC simply did not have that magic atmosphere for the supporters. I don't think we ever had such low numbers when we compare recent world cups. I am not talking just number of supporters in the stadiums, I am also talking about all the supporter centers and stuff usually organized for those that can't get a ticket and there were very small number of those in Qatar.
