what do you expect from cryptocurrency?

When cryptocurrency was just down for more than a year, it was assumed that the dream day is coming again. In the meantime, the situation of the market has moved from Red to Green. As the inflation decreases, the crypto market will return to that previous state. Now just waiting for that day. Although many of us thought that we would see a big bullish in the next year but crypto might not wait until that time. This year it can be fixed at a better stage and next year we will see the appearance of Crypto Bullish.

The bear season is not over yet and I was still seeing that this year the market remains bearish.
We can't say that because if we see the price of Bitcoin surpass $20,000 we are going to be bullish. If we can take a look at the previous two bull seasons, it started after halving and it was been predicted to come the next year 2024. This it means that this year 2023 has no hopes for it.

We are glad to see the market is up a little bit, maybe that is for now. But if we think about Bullrun this year, it is too far from happening.

The biggest issue with Bitcoin is that we cant predict it, we cant predict whats the maximum or minimum. The current wave may not be a big one but it has taken market out from bearish trend. We still cant predict where this run will take the market. I keep on reading that in 2023 we will see another bull run while some says 2023 will be bearish, all this is just speculation. We just need to focus on price moments of bitcoin and buy it when its gone down. Cant say when Bitcoin will go up but it will go up some day.

I wouldn't expect much from crypto right now, especially when there's a lot of negativism surrounding the industry. Many people are hoping 2024 will be bullish, but I'd take that with a grain of salt. If the global economy isn't restored by that time, don't expect prices to "pump" anytime soon. After all, investors won't be pouring money into crypto when everything is going downhill because of inflation.

I'd expect the FED to keep raising interest rates, until inflation is reduced to 2%. Other countries may follow suit (especially those within the EU) to help strengthen their national currencies. We can't tell what will happen with crypto in the long run, because of its unpredictable nature. As long as you diversify your investment, you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts

If a person can master enough market knowledge, timing, patience, risk taking, courage etc. then I think he can be successful in crypto currency. I am getting more and more ready each day whenever I buy more bitcoins, and I trade a bit as well but my goal is not to have more fiat when trading, my goal is to have more bitcoins, even if it means I could have less in fiat because bitcoin sometimes goes down.

This type of investment allows me to have as much bitcoins as possible and be ready for the next bull run, it could be this year, it could be next, it could be 5 years down the line, doesn't matter when it will happen as long as I get to do it. And this is why I care about it so much, since it is such an important thing to focus on and how you could end up making a profit from it as well.

You are right, if we don't buy any coins, we can't get profits when the bullrun is coming. Bullrun must come whether in 2024 or 2025, so it is time to prepare our coins. Regarding the new ATH, I don't really care about that. IMO, although the new ATH cannot be reached, we still can get enough profits if the prices of crypto coins return to their ATH in 2021. We must realize that the current prices of all crypto coins are decreasing much, they already dropped significantly. People expect the prices can return to the ATH when it was in 2021 (previous bullrun), or they can make a new ATH (higher than previous prices in 2021).

means we need to wait for another couple of years before it finally ended because Halving will come in 2024-2025 in which several years from now but I can fully understand the sentiment because we have seen that happened for how many times before.
Bitcoin and other crypto are only making pump after 4-5 years.

Actually time is not a problem for an investor even though they have to wait in the next few years to wait for a bull market to occur and be able to take big profits from investing in altcoins and Bitcoin, of course.
In conditions like this we can take advantage of it by taking Bitcoin and altcoins which have the potential to experience a significant increase in price when the Bitcoin HALVING occurs in the next few years.

I agree, I am one of those people who are long term investors and we do not really have too much to do, I bought bitcoin, and I still do sometimes, but that's my whole job, I have to do nothing else, it could be 30k tomorrow or 20k tomorrow and I would not make a single move, which means that it's a very easy and lazy job and could be alright.

I know that it is not going to be the same for traders for example or short term investors, they want to make sure that they could invest into something that could make a lot more money in a lot shorter time period and that is why I believe that we are going to end up with difference in the workload that we both have.

I agree, this is the same mindset that I have as well. I am not rich, and will never be "rich", like millions of dollars type of rich. However, if I can have 20k dollars, that would change so much in my life, and I mean like for good, not just for a while.

This is what I am aiming at right now, and that is not something I can't reach, it is totally reachable about as well so all I gotta do is keep working on it and eventually I could reach it, and it may take some time and maybe years, and need to multiply my investment a few times over, but when I reach it, it will definitely one of the best times of my life and it will definitely be great.

Crypto went up during the COVID-19 pandemic because of rising inflation rates. There was massive government spending, while the money supply was expanded. That's what caused prices to explode like crazy. But now times are different with the Russo-Ukraine war and governments' hawkish stance towards the economy. The FED (US Central Bank) has been rising interest rates to keep the US Dollar strong, greatly affecting crypto market prices.

If the FED hasn't settled down by the time 2024 arrives, don't expect BTC or any other cryptocurrency to reach a new ATH in price. We should take this opportunity to buy and "hodl" more coins before everything goes back up again. Despite the downfall in market prices, crypto (especially Bitcoin) is still the best-performing asset in the world. So technically, Bitcoin holders are winning compared to both stocks and Gold holders. Who knows if we'll become the next crypto millionaires by holding strong no matter what? Just my thoughts

cryptocurrency changes the world's financial system, transactions are getting easier and in the future mass adoption will definitely not be inevitable. I feel lucky to be able to get to know bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, in the future there will be more and more people whose economic lives will change 180 degrees because of cryptocurrencies.
